I know what you mean however fanart and the material you're speaking of doesn't offend me. And the closest character to me with this topic would be Asuka though I'd say it's less of a respect for the character but mostly me just wanting to take care of her.

I don't really feel offended or feel the characters are being disrespected. Nearly all the time characters are sexualized someway, like fighting naked, and it's normal for people to sexualize people, so it doesn't really bother me.

But yeah, there are a few characters I love which I don't feel like looking for such things. I don't really know why, the will to do so just isn't there. If it was I would, since the way I see it, doing such a thing is only natural.
