I liked Trigun somewhat, even though Vash's pseudo-pacifistic whining got on my nerves.

But you can't tell me the rest of the cast of characters didn't make up for it!

And at least Vash's ideals were good in nature, unlike Knives's. But if you do look at from Knives's point of view, he is right on saying that humans are a virus. But still yet, his ideals are some what extreme on what to do with humans, since they are a virus.

"I kill the spiders to save the butterflies." And then he says something along the lines of, but this is deciding to this on perfect rational thought.

"You killed them . . . all of them!" . . . "I know wasn't it great!"

But Vash's ideals are pretty much the extreme too . . . just the extreme opposite of Knives's . . . which I somewhat agree that it does get annoying at times. When you really look at it though, Wolfwood has the best ideals of them all . . . he truly wants to pacifist; but at the same time he knows that in the world he currently lives in that not everything can be handled in a pacifistic way.

i was saying right on because you were not judging a series by its first episode like a couple of other people in this thread...*cough*.

Oh thanks! I think that judging a series by the first episode is rather pathetic. I'm definitely going to give FLCL a chance and see what it is all about . . . just when I get around to giving it a chance, I don't really know.

as for wolfwood, he is my fav character from trigun! "thou shall not kill remember?! What kinda priest are ya anywayz?!"
One of my favorite arguments between him and vash is when wolfwoods bike breaks down and they hitch a ride with some guy in a truck.
umm... this one.

Ahhhh yes . . . that is a great argument. What a great whole set of scenes that is. All of the arguments between the two are pretty comical though.

this image provides a good response to that leg hold picture.

What a face!!! I think that one right there is a face only a mother could love. (Or in this case, that one younger girl that Vash was standing up for.)

Me too. There are so much screenshots that are funny though . . . there are literally hundreds upon hundreds I could put up and still get a laugh out of. BTW, where did you get your pics from?

haha i liked that ep, i have an amv that uses most of that episode for the video, its called mexico. you think we will get in trouble for uploading so much? :)

I think there may be a high horse that needs to have people get off it's back. I never said I wasn't going tro try to watch the rest, I even acknowledge that it could improve. But I can make make initial opinions. I can also change my mind. If this were the Kobe Bryant case and I made presumptions about guilt or innocence, than the point about watching every episode would have greater merit. And for those long series, should I think they are good if 44 out 60 episodes of one series are, in my opinion, crap? After 25 bad episodes, is it even fair to expect me to finish the series?

We weren't talking about you . . . sorry to imply we were.

I also liked Bebop. My brothers watch a lot of those Animes, like x 1999 and noir, the carrot thing, fan subs, raws, etc. sister princess. that ff cartoon, the one with some demon gun. i watched one episode, it reminded me of something, i'm not sure what, i know i wasn't impressed. the voice acting in blue gender is rather surprising given the crap they put out with dbz.
