I also liked Bebop. My brothers watch a lot of those Animes, like x 1999 and noir, the carrot thing, fan subs, raws, etc. sister princess. that ff cartoon, the one with some demon gun. i watched one episode, it reminded me of something, i'm not sure what, i know i wasn't impressed. the voice acting in blue gender is rather surprising given the crap they put out with dbz.

How was the second episode of Blue Gender??? I didn't watch FLCL or Blue Gender last night. Blue Gender was much like FLCL in the way that I didn't have much of a clue what was going on, just not as bad as FLCL. I'm sure I'll get around to watching all of it too.

lol, i'm kicking myself right now for not bringing my anime collection to watch on my laptopm the only thing i've got on here is about 250 amvs (some on cd) and the last episode from the second season of initial d, and i've watched that about 6 times already.

You weren't. My mistake then. But I am guilty of what was said. To an ectent. I should have made clear that I was not initially impressed.

Oh, I missed the first 7-8 minutes of flcl, so if some one would fill me in, please do. thanks.

Yeah it's cool. I didn't mean to imply anything towards you and I know LoneWolfe didn't either. I wasn't paying FLCL a whole lot of attention, but I was paying enough attention to know that I didn't have a clue what was going on.

that demon gun you refer to is probably ffu, final fantasy unlimited. does he add these weird canesters into the gun to make something different come out? oh and does it have a beating heart in it?

ffu... a series i never like, but the opening was pretty cool.

Oh man, that sucks. I haven't seen any of Initial D. But I love having the Box Set of Trigun . . . it's great stuff. Hopefully, I'll have all of Cowboy Bebop soon.

sorry about earlier, i dont think it was you i was refering to, someone else was bashing the series from the first episode.

Hey I know it wasn't him you were refering to . . . it was someone else you were refering to.

Blue Gender. Well, I saw some of it. The only important thing is the main character decides to try and fight back and not die as a stranger in his own world, so to speak.

Blue is rather simple to me. Some people with terminal diseases are put into suspended animation until gene therapy science can cure them of their afflictions. During the time the people are suspended, either aliens come down or the gene therapy is some how a contributor to the mutation of what look like beetles. Either way, there's going to be some message about the environment in it, just wait. Well, the chaos results in either the delay of the unsuspension of the people or it causes it to happen earlier than anticipated. So the story seems to be about this dying guy who must adapt to a differnt world than he expected. that aspect is more interesting than the mecha vs. beetle mutants battles.

He's my hero!

here we go,

Kaze (FFU)
The victim of a tragic past, Kaze has been turned into a complete introvert. He barely speaks except when there's something he wants (he never replies to anyone). But he's not one to get close to - he holds unimaginable power; Oscar and Fungus both call him the "Unlimited", the one with the power to destroy the gods (hence the title of the series). He carries around two weapons; a regular red gun which can still destroy most things out there, and a Demon Gun attached to his arm. He has a strange relationship with it; he variously calls it his "heart" and his "life". It uses Soil (the crystals of those killed by Chaos) to combine three magical colored bullets into a shoukanjuu (Summoned Creature), which then decimates the enemy in various ways. Kaze's only goal (and the only thing he shows any emotion about) is to obliterate White Cloud, his archenemy, who apparently headed the attack on his home world. Apparently their first battle created the dark tunnel to Tokyo, and ended up with Kaze being put to sleep for twelve years. Although Kaze generally ends up saving Ai, Yu, and Lisa from some monster, he most definitely doesn't actually care about them...with the possible exception of Lisa, whom I think reminds him of Aura, a woman in his past. He also has an uncanny ability to be where they are before they get there, even if it's technically impossible for him to do so. I believe he follows them around because the Count is after them and White Cloud works for the Count. Oh: and he has a perfectly good eye under the patch(actually half a pair of sunglasses), a perfectly good arm under the gun, and is actually pretty scrawny under the cloak. Image is everything. 8p He also has a strange relationship with Moogle...

oh, i thought you were either laughing at the enviro remark or my putting the mech battles below the plot.

No, basically it's just me being an idiot and not having a clue what Blue Gender is about. I get what you are saying though, I'll have to watch more of it.

846 is when i'm struggling to find the right words

Ahhhhh, I see. I know that feeling of struggling to find the right words. But I also know the feeling of struggling to type the words that I have in my head because my fingers cannot keep up with what I want to type. I also know the feeling of struggle to put the thoughts in my head into words . . . I never can seem to do that very well.
