the way i see it is this: he must be one, how else could he get enough power out of his arm?

That's why I say the best description for what he is, is one of "those who exist outside of time".

Are you talking with Legato and Vash holding the gun to his head? Well if you are, watch the next episode and you'll find out that all of them are alright. But as far as Vash goes though, he is pretty shaken up because of what he did to Legato . . . he wants to live the ideals of "no one has the right to take the life of another" and since he didn't live up to that ideal, it shakes him up pretty badly. But he will soon become serious again with the threat of what Knives can do to all of mankind . . . I can't wait to see the 26th episode, the closer we get the more excited I become.

iam talking about the last ep of trigun

Oh, basically that is left up to your imagination on what happens to Vash and the girls. Some people think Vash and Meryl could've had a thing together . . . but since the 26th episode is the final episode of Trigun, we will never know what happens to all of the characters. I find that Cowboy Bebop kinda leaves it to your imagination on what happens to all the characters afterwards, and Trigun is the same way. I think anime's end this way to leave you wanting more and also to come back and watch the series more. Basically, to hopefully get you to buy all the merchandise there is of the anime.

of course the one series that leaves you with the ending to your imagination is lain, hands down. There is no one ending to it, that is what makes it great, i was in a forum with the biggest of biggest lain fanatics, some have seen the series over 60 times. everyone has their ending, i love it ^.^

Haven't seen that series . . . probably won't unless CTN airs it. Anime is too expensive to buy and take the risk of not liking the series.
