That's weird for the AI, I thought they were running on simplified physics, why would they struggle a lot ?
The only bugs I've had with the CSR are 1: The random "spiky" FFB where all of a sudden it feels like the wheel is full of rocks, but that seems to affect all wheels, and a simple session restart seems to fix that. And, 2: The missing FFB bug where on a rare occasion when you go to track in a new session you'll have no FFB, only rumble. Pausing, and then turning off and on the wheel, fixes this one for me.
I've never experienced the first bug you mentioned on my Fanatec GT2, maybe I will on the CSR. Still haven't tried it yet, for some strange reason I just can't be bothered.
The dead ffb upon session start bug is far more common to me. Thankfully it's easy with the Fanatec wheels having an on/off switch.
These are simply my observations:
Probably a bug.
- Why are so many cars stuck at the grid the entire time during a replay when you were tangling with them side by side the entire race?
Probably an oversight and it might require extra coding.
- Why can't one spectate a race in your own lobby - why does [it] force you to race no matter what and doesn't let one properly admin if desired?
Another oversight, I would love this feature too.
- Why can't we name our rooms?
It most likely is hard to program.
- We understand that the Michelin Tower at Sarthe is sponsored by well, Michelin and may be very difficult to manipulate license-wise, but in the static pic of Le Mans (the loading screen pic) you have a "Yiro Tires" advert lighting up the Marquee. Is there no way to have static pics or "real-time" pics of the PC cars as they speed around the track or the grandstands, or to actually display real time race data on the tower, i.e. times?
Same as above and possible limitations on consoles.
- Why aren't there fireworks at Le Mans after sunset? Why aren't there more people in and around the pit areas?
Because it's a sim.
- Why isn't the ability to see the driver's list or cars [in the race] list whilst one is driving in the race online? GT does this.
Not the best AI programming, but it has gotten a lot better from launch and is supposed to get better.
- Why do AI cars always take the same exact lines no matter what and never ever learn? If you race Le Mans and do a rolling start, the cars on the inside will always push the cars near the Ferris Wheel into the sand. No. Matter. What. This makes no sense to me and seems easily correctable.
1. Because this isn't GT
- Why don't other human driver's cars ghost when they go too slow? Why is it only if they are going the wrong way? GT does this.
2. Because this is a sim.
Possible oversight.
- Why aren't the driver names, or vehicle names displayed in the dialogue box when viewing a replay so that you know exactly which car one is attempting to view? GT does this.
Because then there would only be the Aston Martin GTE and the rest would be prototypes. The GT4 cars are meant to act as the GT Am I think.
- For WEC and Le Mans races only couldn't there be a category that allows LMP's and GTE cars instead of just "ANY"? When you set it to any, some one is just bound to be in a stock Ford Mustang GT, sitting in the garage.
Because it isn't the only bug and may be difficult to fix.
- Why isn't the "join in" rubber banding glitch fixed by now? I only set the rooms to allow six drivers now and fill the rest with AI drivers at about 96% difficulty. The reason why is because allowing a full grid of players is sure to wreck your race before you even begin especially during a good quali. What happens you ask when there are 16 allowed? Well, in public races, each time someone joins it creates a huge lag spike and you better not be in a turn when this happens - if you're so unlucky to be in a turn - the game will freeze and make a "Total Recall 2 weeks sound", the TS300 will be completely locked to the right or left and the game will freeze. This unfortunately happens waaayyy to frequently and is only remedied by a complete shutdown and restart.
The crazy thing? I keep playing this broken mess b/c GT6 hurts my eyes too much to go back now and GT Sport isn't available yet.... smh. So I'm stuck in "next generation" limbo at the moment...
help.
Don't worry, it's only going to get better .
Did you try selecting 'return to pit' again then try to drive? I often get a bug where my jack guy doesn't let me leave the garage until I pit again.PC
Pit stop issue during practice
Clio Cup, Round 1 at Donington
1. Go out for Practice Session
2. Return to Pits
3. Make Setup changes (tire pressure, etc)
4. Perpetually stuck in Pits. Never able to resume Practice Session.
pCARS sure is a wild ride Thankfully there's the wonderfully well sorted FM6 experience to ease the pain of pCARSI've been having some strange performance issues ever since installing the Lotus DLC pack.
Seemingly at random tracks, and only ever as the cars are on their way to the finish line, I get some noticeable stuttering, not just framerate drops, more a judder every half second or so, and only ever crops up as the flag has been waved and the AI are crossing the line. It's as if whenever an AI car crosses the line the game is stuttering. I can run however many laps I like and this problem will only turn up at the end of the race. It's really odd and definitely only started after the last DLC. It doesn't happen every race, but way more than i'd like.
Along with my DLC track setup save issue I've had I'm wondering if the game is slowly dying on me, it cannae take much more of this, man!
Ha not for me. No Xbox this gen. Also I've had way more fun with pCARS these past months than I ever had playing the old Forzas, but no doubt I'd also own it if I had a different console.pCARS sure is a wild ride Thankfully there's the wonderfully well sorted FM6 experience to ease the pain of pCARS
If pCARS had Forza's reliability and stability it'd be the very best driving game on console, without a shadow of doubtHa not for me. No Xbox this gen. It seems to me that using a wheel on the PS4 causes the game to crash more frequently. I've been a DS4 user since the launch of Project Cars and upgraded to a G29 6 days ago. In the past 6 days I've had the game freeze up and cause a reboot of the Ps4 every single day.
PS4 .......
