Broad stripes, you say? Enter it. It has stripes.@syntex123 The design brief seems to have gotten awfully broad, but I figure I'd ask to be safe anyway, where does this fall on the "stripe-y-enough-ometer?
You forgot something. Something in red..
Fishing for votes isn’t how you enter a comp, I would rewrite that post or enter it (with the correct scapes).Any chance you peeps would vote for something like this?
Sorry that the correct scapes didn't transfer to website version somehow, so took a scapes from my gallery.
Here's the livery.
Well it's sold out now so I guess I'm going to plan B.Weird when you get in the will I hold out or will I not bother at all mindset.
I'm going to leave mine until the last minute.
Not sure if I'll get the car I want.
If I don't I have a couple of backups planned, but I'd rather not use them.
A personal livery carried over from GT Sport and one of my favourite ones. I originally made a similar one for a league but then ended up with this design for Sport Mode races as I ended up using the car more than I thought I would afterwards 😅
No problem, just focus on the main entry for no confusion and we’re good!Question on the bonus photos — can the bonus photos have other cars in addition to the entry? In my case, my livery comes in a few colorways. I'd enter the main one , but would have a couple others in the background of bonus shots (same car, just a different base color). If not no biggie.
That’s awesome. The song link doesn’t work for me for some reason."The Climate Changer"
As soon as I saw the theme, I immediately thought of the 'climate barcode' that denotes the change in global temperature relative to the pre-industrial mean, and which featured prominently in Glasgow during the recent COP26 climate change conference which was held 200 yards from my apartment in Glasgow. Wouldn't be complete without some relevant sponsors too. And here's a song I wrote on the subject a few years ago... Also, the pattern (blue - white - red) resembles the Alpine logo to some extent, which was completely deliberate
P.S. It almost took me longer to figure out how to get the bloody images from my GT7 page and onto GTP using my iPad than it did to make the flipping livery Hope the livery and pics comply with the rules...
After bringing my GT Sport Gr.4 competition livery into GT7, I decided to make a GT7-specific variant that takes advantage of the new "paint" option of carbon fiber. I also happened to win a second Gr.4 Huracán from one of the roulette wheels, so I have two Gr.4 Huracán's play with in Scapes.

Back in the day, I won my first GT Sport Mode race using the Gr.4 Huracán with the original gold chrome livery...and it was one of my first custom designs.
I was about to say something 😅 akira - text goes in separate post if you can, and also wrong spoiler format. 👍🏼People really insist on ingnoring the rules for submitting an entry, huh? @syntex123 is going to have a hard time setting the poll up.
Yeah, there are some again. If someones pics are too big I wouldn’t know. I’m on my phone 99% of the time. And if I’m lucky again, @Nuschel01 will have the headache, not me.
Can’t remind everyone always, it’s easy to miss when there’s a lot going on in the forums. And in the first round everyone got some slack as well, since lt was the first round and all. and there’s no changes from the last round to this one, except different theme of course.I guess I missed some rule changes in how to post in these challenges...and no one said anything about my post for competition #1.
That's only fair. The rules are there in black and white at the start of the comp in the first post and it doesn't take that long to read them, so shouldn't really be any excuses...Can’t remind everyone always, it’s easy to miss when there’s a lot going on in the forums. Edit: future comps will likely have 0 reminders, as you’d expect people to follow rules after the first (or second) one. So everyone who gets reminders should be glad.
P.S.: you were saved by @wowbaggerBR not me.
Ehm why so strict? Isn't it all for fun?Edit: future comps will likely have 0 reminders, as you’d expect people to follow rules after the first (or second) one. So everyone who gets reminders should be glad.
Indeed. But there always will be. I don’t need to remind all the veterans of a certain member who got banned from the whole livery editor subforum back in the beginning of the Sport comps. That's only fair. The rules are there in black and white at the start of the comp in the first post and it doesn't take that long to read them, so shouldn't really be any excuses...
Even fun needs rules.Ehm why so strict? Isn't it all for fun?
Wrong, I called you out twice and you even fixed your main photos.I guess I missed some rule changes in how to post in these challenges...and no one said anything about my post for competition #1.
Regarding
All images shall have preview images which may not exceed 640 pixels in either direction (main and bonus pictures).

If the guys with too big pictures want to EWO this, just add "width="640px"" into the first IMG tag:Code:[IMG width="640px"]
EDIT: I was generous and half-"fixed" all wrongly sized entries (all uncrossed, bold usernames). For newcomers I will continue to do so, but for returning participants providing oversized photos will be a DSQ
Replica with LEC and GTPlanet tags along with some GT Planet decals built into the livery.
