The GTP is for the site, GTPlanet.

I've ran this series for 4 seasons, continental for 2, and helped with a few other series.

I've played with the idea of making my own sanctioning body, but it doesn't do much on this site.

So GTP Online racing rules and etiquette do not apply necessarily and GTP race admins have no power. It's not a big deal I'm just better off racing with a well structured sanctioning body. (Not to discredit you in any way)

Yea, at the world scale there needs to be different manufacturers

And redbull, the OLR's are in effect here, and the race admins watch the threads and stuff. The race admins are more for the threads, they don't have much to do with the racing.

We have a team of stewards for that.

There's a place for the manufacturers. I'm a privateer guy honestly. I don't like things getting expensive.

When their's one Manufacturer team I agree it's a bit bad, but if there is 2 or more there's some team rivals you can see amd it's exciting .

As long as they're separate from the privateers, I'm totally all for them. The race is boring usually though as the cars are generally far apart pace wise.

So LMP1 is being eliminated? I had not heard that, but pretty much all the info I get is whatever they say on the race broadcasts. I did hear something about LMP2 and DP being combined next year.

In America it probably won't be around, but at the world level it will still be there. They just released some new regulations not too long ago.

Never heard about Peugeot returning, wander what they'll use a Peugeot 908 EF (E= Eco Friendly).
Lucky for cnd the WEC have 2 seperate team championships in LMP1 (Manufactures and Privateer).

Lmp1 won't be in America next year. DP/p2 is the main class. The official spec and class name announcements will be made march 14th.

Not exactly, in 2014 the WEC will be the only series with LMP1.

Our rooms are usually called "GTP RSCS" this keeps some of the randoms out, and lets the members know it's the official room.

Everyone sanctions series themselves, unless they're part of a organization ex- PURE, GTMSA, WMA etc.

Keeps costs down in prototypes in America. I don't "hate" LMP. I hate races that are fun to watch for all of 1 turn. When 4(or less) lmp1 cars show up, that's what happens.

I wish they got rid of the GT3 in the FIA GT and brought back GT1 . I don't get why people neglect a race just because there is a few cars there could be something Magical happening.

No passing. No close racing. No excitement. Its just drivers turning laps at that point. Gas burning.

They are for moderating the threads in the racing section. I'm honestly not sure if they do anything about driving in the game.

To solve that issue, we have four stewards, two from each class, that deal with incidents here.

Trust me red bull, we will make sure issues are resolved. Polar does an excellent job here.

I like all those cars. They're all beautiful. LMP1 is too expensive. Same with LMP2. Causes low car counts. Ask ant about having to race on a budget. He knows.
