RESHIRAM5Cost is a bad thing but I still like them as LMP1 have nice and fast racing.
They are fast. I would like to see LMP without traction control. That would separate the boys from the men.
@Paul: btcc ftw

RESHIRAM5I don't think LMP use TCS as a racer from Audi Sport said the Audi R18 e-tron "feels like Traction control", after that interview I would'be banned 4WD LMP.
So because manufacturers spend money on a technology and to be up front where they rightfully belong by spending the money, you think the races are boring? Maybe if it's Audi vs. privateers. But not Audi vs. Toyota. You should probably pay more attention to the WEC and LeMans if you thought it was boring and over after one turn. There's fuel strategy, tire conservation, wheel to wheel action, multi-classes, state of the art tech that you don't see on cars now but will in the future. What do you get with DP? A mock up Corvette not even close to the street Corvette. If you like GT type cars, you have a GTE class with Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Corvette, Viper and BMW. You can't tell from watching the race they have traction control. You can't tell they don't have ABS. But you can definitely tell LMP's are only 10 seconds a lap slower than F1's best. And the Audi is part time 4wd. They can't run their front hybrid power until after 120kmh. And the power is limited to 500kilojoules (about 200hp for 4-5 seconds).

Le Mans last two years=awesome.
I forgot something, they are called DP, the P is Prototypes, apart from looks it is not memt to be heavily based on Road Cars or it would be classified as a GT car.
What's funny is their prototype class is basically 'ancient technology' currently with cars that have stickers to differentiate them. Seems a lot like NASCAR on road courses with a common car shape/engine etc. A prototype IMO should be something to aspire to with cool futuristic technology. Some people like what it is currently. They enjoy watching a bunch of the same style cars, but I don't. 👍
Anyway, looking forward to Fuji if I can keep the car in line.
cnd01I like all those cars. They're all beautiful. LMP1 is too expensive. Same with LMP2. Causes low car counts. Ask ant about having to race on a budget. He knows.
Look at the WEC and Le Mans entry lists for this year. Lmp2 is more popular than ever right now. Plus there will more lmp1 entrys in the next few years.
MrMelancholy15LM sucks, I get so bored, and bouncing between 4-6 classes...
Being the pace car driver is sorta artistic. It gives me the chance to do all sorts of interesting photos of close racing...![]()
I totally agree with thatPlus the fact its more based around the team instead of just the driver which has always appealed to me.
MrMelancholy15Reshiram, have you ever been in a violent crash, in real life? Like, have you ever been in a bad enough crash, someone might actually have died/been seriously injured?
You say that blue flags are boring, BUT, I beg to differ. I've been in some pretty bad crashes. Some friends of mine have been seriously injured in crashes at the track. I've been injured in crashes at the track. Blue flags are a lifeline for drivers like us. They keep us safe. Last place guys want to be safe, too. Win-win.
And, endurance racing is fine, for those of us who don't have better things to do for 24 hours. Or, rather, for people who aren't being told what to do every 5 minutes during a long race. Why? Because 🤬 🤬 🤬 parents created a racing driver with the occasional responsibility of being a son.
