We all know that Trump is prone to bluster and exaggeration, to put it mildly. It is a great mistake to believe at face value everything last thing he says. That's a rabbit hole that leads to madness. Rational, experienced and knowledgeable people will disregard the twaddle and prefer the facts.
This comes up a lot in defense of some of the wackier stuff he says, and to some extent it's fair. But it's not uncommon for him to say something insane and be absolutely serious. And the only way to know which is which is to wait and see, which is kinda scary. Is he blustering and exaggerating about launching nukes at North Korea, or is he serious? Is he just pandering to his base when he says he won't give up the White House without a fight, or will he actually do it?
Hell, some people thought he wasn't serious about actually building a wall for a while. The justification was that it was a metaphor for a more secure border, as a coast to coast wall paid for entirely by a foreign nation that didn't want to was too bonkers to believe. As it turns out, he was totally serious.
If / when Biden wins, I wouldnt mind betting he gets impeached after investigations into his dodgy dealings with his son Hunter in the Ukraine.
Paving the way for his vice (Harris) to take over the helm.
The dude is about to turn 78. There's every chance he dies in office and you get Harris regardless of any politics.
