Not sure if this belongs here or in the funny/strange news thread, but apparently a Capitol Rioter who texted about shooting Nancy Pelosi on Live TV (and was arrested for the threat and some weapon charges) was featured on, of all things, The Smoking Tire YouTube channel, where they showcased his 800HP 2JZ E39 M5 in 2017.

Actual car review starts at 1:05

I'm probably stating the obvious, but it really goes to show how cars very much attract people from all walks of life.

Now, can we get back to this?
Sure, everyone is happy their guy won and everyone else is acting like a child. Mind you it's been kinda quite here from one side. I do recall "not my President" posts 4 years ago here.
Let's just all keep it honest and say we're screwed. :D

Damn autocorrect!
If only that was the problem.

Wh... what?

Firstly, if "everyone" is doing something, there's no-one "else" left to do something different.

According to the GTP poll at the top of this thread, only a third of people voted for the guy that won - and according to comments in this thread, a lot of them did so as a vote against Trump, so he's hardly "their guy". I don't see anyone particularly happy that the USA has come down to voting against your own preferences for a mid-right, authoritarian, creepy elderly white dude in order to stop a lunatic from having four more years of Constitution shredding.

Who's the "everyone else" that is "acting like a child", and where are they doing it?

Yes, there was a series of protests about Trump's election back in 2016-17 (and who could have known just how bad he would turn out to be? The predictions were bad, but he managed to hit depths no-one thought possible), and they were referenced on here as news. I don't really follow what this has to do with anything.

I don't need to say anything more.

Indeed. What a sulking brat:

It's like it's someone else's birthday party but he wants presents too, and if he can't have them he isn't going.

If Trump's twitter account was still active, he would probably be crowing about how many more people turned up for his inauguration right about now.

Nah, he'd still be on the "I WON THE PRESIDENCY! 75 MILLION LEGAL VOTES! ILLEGITIMATE SLEEPY JOE!" phase of whining at this stage I think.

Um, the idiots at the Capitol the other week...
Right... so... when you said you were "sitting back laughing at y'all", you didn't mean people here on GTP, but insurrectionists at the Capitol.

Start with that next time. Context is important.

There's a long chain of American leadership at the executive present at the inauguration - Clintons, Bushes, Obamas. Trump being absent makes him look illegitimate.
It is great that neither Trump or any of his rancid family are there.

Trump's absence also means that the biggest arse present at the inauguration was J-Lo's.
