the "just plain ugly" car thread

Well, apparently I love the CTS too much then. The grill is a bit awkward at first, but its nothing shockingly bad. At the very least Cadillac made the car wide enough this time around...

Very true, but only with the 3.6 DIG engine. That V6 puts the Northstar V8 to shame... God-willing, the "Ultra" V8 should be here shortly...

BTW:

The CTS still disagrees...

Or do you want real-life photos?

Thus far, the only two new CTS' I've seen in G-Rap. Both were 3.6 DIG models with AWD.

...and an STS for good measure...

It doesn't matter how many photos you show me. The grill is still ass-ugly.

YSS, all those photos do is show how much better the CTS would look if the grill wasn't so haphazardly placed on the car.
+1.

Have you actually seen the car in person? I mean, really, really in person like a few inches in front of you?
Yes, at the Auto Show. It made it worse.
...Although, no matter what Cadillac does, the car looks HORRIBLE in silver...
Amazingly, silver and dark grey are the only cars that look good with the grill. But the grill still doesn't do it.

That Stutz has to be the ugliest car I've ever seen...even uglier than the Aztek. I think we have a winner...or loser in this case.

lolz we don't get proton or ssangyong in america but since when did ssangyong start exporting cars outside of north korea? i still hate protomotors for not exporting the spirra to america

I'm sorry, I just have to answer that. Ssangyong has been in Colombia for a little below 10 years, or maybe a little over.

Oh, and that Koenigsegg Cayenne is putrid, horrendous. And actually, the Lanos is really popular here in Colombia, and its actually a nice looking car IMO. Cars are very different here than what they are in the US. You still see Renault 4's.

hmm than they just might not have the saftey rating to warrent exporting to north america.

Yeah, I know :P

It's just that one looked particularly plasticky. I especially like the dude pictured to the right of the picture. "Vat? Zis iz meine companie auto, jar".

I want one of those. Seriously. Only the SS with the 5.3 liter V8 though. I dont care which wheels are driven. It looks good, it's cheap, and it's got a V8. 300 hp ftw.

Must enjoy left turns with right foot torque.

I say the CTS-V makes up for the ugly with it's performance, especially when that 'Vette motor is allowed to roar for all it's worth. I can ignore the less-than-appealing lines if I'm driving, effectively, a fourdoor Corvette.

Funny thing happened while reading this story, Holden wants to build the Efigy car with a couple hundred run-offs for the rather-rich.

The Holden Efijy in the "just plain ugly" car thread? Yeah, right...

The Cadillac CTS and Mitsubishi Evo X aren't that bad either.

Quoi?! La Holden Efijy!? Serge, vous êtes fou. Je suis d'accord avec vous sur La Maybach. :yuck:

What in the hell is the brown thing with the Wal-Mart hubcaps?

You call me crazy, butt i just read in an article about the Efijy that they gonna ask more than 1.2 million Dollar for that car.
Are you ready to pay that for a car like that?;)

Actually, Holden says they probably won't do it now. Still, it will probably go down in history as one of the best GM Concept cars, ever. It created quite an outrageous amount of buzz, and really got people interested in Holden again (not like they shouldn't have been in the first place).

Well, no.

1.2 million :nervous: .. Maybe, If it got me a Ridler.. ;) Nah. Screw the ridler. I'd have more fun with a beat up '36 Ford anyways.
