PD: Now I see u live in Michigan... So I guess you'll need a power adapter with an Input of 110V (or whatever tension is used in USA, I dunno) and the same output, 24V 0.75A (I guess the 0.75A intensity may change because of the lower tension of your plugs, or the USA's Input is 110V 0.8A?? :dunce:

Yeah, the seller I got it from on ebay claimed it was brand new, but it was opened, and didn't include a power supply

Neeeeh I hate Ebay... I prefer going to Barcelona's informatic stores, they're much cheaper than the rest of spain's stores...

I think logitech uses the same power adapters for most of their wheels, including PC (like Wingman FFB).You could try to use from this one. Anyway its 24v so you need such one

Ok, I found out its a 24V, 750mA power supply. I didn't see any on radioshack's website, but i'm gonna give them a call later today, I didn't see any on ebay or google.

ok I got my wheel today, I plugged it into the usb port, and plugged the pedals into the wheel, and the wheel lights up, but it's not doing anything. None of the buttons appear to be doing anything at all. The controllers work, but the wheel does nothing...

You did hook up the power cable, right?

Darkfinal
Logitech AC adapter
Model: ADP-18LB C
Input: AC 200-240V ~ 0.4A
Output: 24V CC 0.75A
LPS: 50-60Hz

Minnesota01R6
Logitec
AC adapter
MODEL ADP-18LB B
INPUT AC 100-120V-0.4A
OUTPUT 24v----.75A

Hope this helps - it's off the back of my power supply for my DFP

Ah... so the USA power supply is 110V-0.4A... But europe's 220V-0.4A... that's a big difference of power, bcuz P=U·I2, so:

European's power supply: P=U·I2=220·0.42=35.2 Watts
USA power supply: P=U·I2=110·0.42=17.6 Watts

That's a great difference... :dunce:

Finally got my Logitech force pro and I love! Back aches now as I dont have my racing seat/frame yet, but should be dispatched on Monday!

By the way, is there a setting i need to adjust in GT4 for the 900 degree version, or does it adjust in the game automatically? Seems to work okay, just making sure i am getting the best settings. Thanks. (Im playing GT4 by the way)

correct.
If in 900* mode right LED should be on, if off your in 200*.

Got my DFP yesterday and used it with some races in GT3. You have to get used to it, but it offers so much fun. now let's see how long it will stand my way of driving.
I first phoned Logitech Germany but both service men i talked to didn't know anything about a improved DFP-series (plastic potis to metal potis).
That bothered me a little bit, cause my DFP has been manucaftured in the 42th week of 2004, so it must be one of the older with plastic potis.

Do you guys think it's better to get a racing seat setup or just get a sturdy table to set up the DFP on? It seems like the table should suffice, but then again I wouldn't know since I've never used any wheel whatsoever to play racing games.

Where did you get that info? (that there will be new DFP models) ?

i just found out last night that NFS:U2 supports 900deg. !!!

lol it is so hard to drift using the DFP, but drag racing was really fun 👍

enigMatt
that's hot, what table is that?

its a computer stand i bought at walmart for about $30.00 i originally bought it for STEEL BATTALLION but it works great for the DFP ;)

EDIT : here is a link to it 👍

Looking at that 3rd pic. The gt4 game menu is in english. How is that ?

I think he's playing the Japan GT4 demo. Its in english and the menu is exactly like that as well.

yes it is the GT4 DEMO with no time limit 👍

Ok, I bought the 18/24V AC adapter at Radio Shack, and I switched it to 24V, but it still isn't working. The right LED is lit up, and the left one is blinking. It doesn't work though, none of the buttons do anything, nor does the wheel itself. Maybe the connector isn't the right size? It fits in, but maybe it isn't right? I don't know :(

It's probably a long shot, but i'll post the question anyway, just in case, does anyone know the size of the jack going into the wheel? I got a 5.5mm x 2.1mm jack, but it doesn't seem to be working. I know the AC adapter is correct, it works up to 1000mA, and it's 24V AC, but the jack must just be the wrong size.

Eeeh... the DFP power adapter is 24V 750mA... and yours is 1000mA... maybe there is the error...

It's "Up to 1000mA", and the guy working there said any mA under that will work with it. I was just there, and an older man told me that's the right size, but when I called, another worker said it wasnt  I'm gonna go nuts if I don't get this thing working soon. I think i'm just gonna call logitech and see what they say.

They'll probably sell you another power supply... plus shipping...

...

Think about spending around 30$ for the power supply. They always do that :ouch:

Yeah, i'd almost be better off just buying one new! :(
I just got back from Radio Shack for the third time (they can't seem to get their story straight), now they told me that the AC Adapter I bought wouldn't work, because it needs VDC not VAC, and they didn't carry those, so yeah, i'm gonna have to go through Logitech...

finally picked up my driving force pro tonight. $100. since i dont have gt4 yet ill go play with gt3.

edit: ive been playing gt3 and its going to get awhile till i get the hang of it. do you guys use 200 or 900 degree modes? also, how do u set it to 900 degrees? haha and also do you guys use beginner, amateur, pro, or sim modes? thanks :)
