There really needs to be a tire in between comfort soft and sports hard. SH have too much grip for most cars, but when you take those same cars, CS is too loose.

Also has anyone in American tried a European account on their PS3? This could be a loophole in order to access the event.

I found this extremely fun! Trying to improve my lap time with my laptop next to me with DC, Martin and Legard was very immersive, and probably one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had with GT5!

My best time was a 17.5

You took part? Or did you just drive with the livestream playing? I did a 19.something a week ago with a DS3. I feel like a noob now compared to them

the only lap I have to show after 25 mins of racing is a pedestrian 1:18.4 every single other lap I did was invalidated before I started, for reasons that I do not know! although the plus side is I have a pic on my phone saying my ranking was "2nd"

My best lap time was a slowly 1.18.4 in the 15 min period. It got me a 22nd place though. My result will probably be overshadowed by probably 1 000 others by tomorrow.

Only just remembered about this 5 minuits before it started, didn't have time to check the forum and didn't realise there was a seasonal event, I thought I did well with a 1:16.2 in arcade mode on Sport Hard tyres, it's not so easy on the comforts

Not this one! I have school tomorrow! The lap I did was a online 1 lap race, sort of like a standing start time trial.

It's extremely hard with comfort softs, my best lap is a 1:20.xxx with the controller. There's a guy in the top10 who did a 1:16.xxx with the dualshock

I like the fact if you hit a cone, even the last cone on the outside of a turn because the back end steps out slightly you get an invalid lap yet DC was taking racing lines that would completely wipe out a row of cones and its good
