Yep, sounds good. Not too far off that pace without going through setup, so should be promising.

I have done some GT300 racing back in the days of GT5 and found it very enjoyable, so looking forward to these coming races.

great races as always
and a big appologize @amarynceos , I just checked the replay and you're right , that was a helluva block and you lost a position due my move :dunce:
sorry about that :scared:

in satisfaction of my mistake I would allow you to choose my GT300's colour :sly:
If I would drive a chrome pink car or something equally ridiculous , that would be realy ashaming :embarrassed:

learned the lesson while watching the replay : you shall not change your line under heavy braking :boggled:

 Apology accepted, I know it wasn't an intentionally dirty move, it just surprised me and got me a little hot under the collar. :boggled:

I wouldn't make anybody drive a Chrome Pink car that didn't want to! How about Chrome Gold for one race only? :sly:

That was some pretty dang good, and intense, racing. There were a few more bumps than normal due to the constantly close quarts and tight track (I apologize for any I made) but nothing outrageous and it seemed like everyone got to enjoy some good action. 👍

I tried to get on to do some GT300 testing but couldn't log into PSN for some reason. I did some testing last night though and I think our targets will probably be 1:45 with a top speed of 149mph/240kmh. I tested in a stock BRZ with a low RPM turbo added, on SM. Let me know if those seem like targets you guys can reach.

I did some more testing yesterday with other cars and I think I'm going to modify this slightly and say the targets should be 1:44 and 150mph/241kph. I'm also going to increase the tolerance on top speed to +2mph/3kph to make it a little easier for people to get the cars dialed in. Since the straight is so long here (lots of draft) and the cars are very similar in power I don't think 2mph is going to cause any real performance discrepancies and the draft will likely balance that all out anyway. Most of the cars I tested were hitting 150-152mph and doing mid-to-high 44's (all stock settings with just the low-rpm turbo added) so I think everyone should be able to get on target. The faster guys can probably manage with a completely stock car and slower guys have engine tuning, two more turbo options, and SS tires to use to get their cars dialed in. Hopefully it will work out, if you guys get a chance this week to test them out please let me know how you're getting on. :tup;

Hey @BrandonW77! Sent you a PSN PM. Got room for one more?

Certainly. Have you read through the first couple posts to understand the parity concept? It's a bit different than normal racing but we've had some really great battles and some of the best racing I've experienced in GT6. Check the results screen above, in one race the top 4 finished within 1 second of each other after 11 laps and in one of the other races the top 5-6 were literally nose-to-tail for a dozen laps or more. It's really thrilling stuff and we'd love to have another racer on the grid to battle with. 👍

I have and am currently reading the entire thread! Looks like fun and matches the power to weight ratio testing I've been doing. I have a bit of dissatisfaction with some of the other leagues because I *believe* the PP concept to be inaccurate, which makes for some very unfair racing at times. This looks like a more real life concept and has to be more fun than riding around by yourself for 20 minutes.

So then count me in! And thanks! Any car number is great for me.

Well, you're in the right place then. I too hated seeing the grid get stretched out and everyone driving around by themselves with the same couple of people winning all the time, and parity is a great solution to that problem. For the most part, in our races everyone has had someone to race with unless there was a major moment that put them out of touch with the pack. Guys that I'm used to seeing at the back of the pack have been mixing it up at the front and even getting the occasional victory. Parity takes a bit of work but the payoff is worth it in my opinion.

Just to be clear, I don't enforce any kind of pp/power/weight numbers because the differing driving skills can need a wide range of performance numbers. Two guys of different talent can be in the same car, doing the same time/speed, and maybe be 20-30pp apart from each other, but it works and makes for some great racing that everyone on the grid can enjoy. 👍

Hey B, thought I'd stop by, I miss racing with the gang. I'll take #43 like always.

Look forward to seeing you on track again. We've got one more go with the FF's tomorrow evening and then we'll be moving on to see how these GT300 cars shake out.

Is anyone available this evening to do some test races with the GT300's?

I was going to mention that I am always available for testing. Whether good or bad, I'm consistent! :) What time do you need me tonight and what cars?

And on your other point, I totally understand. This is totally what makes for good racing. It should always be about the racers. The cars are the tools to get the job done.

Claimed numbers are in the first post; looks like those two are still free. 👍

Fuji GT.

Thank you good sir. Earlier today I did add the GT300 info to the OP as next week's target so everyone has a quick reference.

I should have a room up to test GT300's in about 10-15 minutes.
