I saw this picture and thought, how close [to the original] could I take this picture on GT5..

The original picture is a Audi R10 TDi 2006 at Circuit de la Sarthe at the last chicane before the finishing line:

When you add the code for the pics in the forum there is a little box with a link picture in it. Highlight what you want to link than click it and put in what you want it to link too

If you deem it rubbish treat me gently.

To me, looks a bit saturated in parts. And the air duct on the left side has color lines. Pretty good though for your first attempt.

Keep practising and experimenting the various functions and modes of the photo mode in GT5 and soon you will get greater results.

And a piece of advice: when you shoot a picture, try to shoot various of the same but using different focus, modes, filters, etc... and then just compare them and decide what is the most realistic to post here.
At least that's what I keep doing

I like it! Maybe resize it a little, and link the FullHD version on it (some sites, like flickr, give you a code for a thumbnail with the FullHD image linked)
Also, I think it's quite realistic 👍 This thread is full of random photos not realistic, posted just to show them to the community...
But this last page is quite good!
