Does the GMT evening work for you? I could also fit bodyguard in as well.

Sorry it took so long for confirmation bodyguard, been a busy week for me.

No worries, I thought you'd just forgotten. Send me a message or leave a post for the time and date, hopefully we can arrange something.

It's been busy for me too. I can confirm that I can take evaluation tomorrow/later on today/19th August (depending on where you are in the world) so everything should be fine 👍 .

I was online, but I didn't see you guys. MSTER22, you still need to accept my FR.

You're right, I'm really sorry. Some things came up and I completely forgot to warn you in advance! I'll be free from 9am to 4pm GMT tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday. As for the weekend and other days, I can't specify a time. If you are not free on the above mentioned times, hopefully we can arrange something next week?
Again, sorry for not being online.

Sorry, my thread subscription failed to notify me as a new update. I ended up looking in my full list and saw that you posted. It seems I missed those days, I'm usually on from 9am GMT to Noon GMT. If you see me on PSN, send me a message sometime.

That's fine. I will be on around those times from Tuesday to Thursday, hopefully we can do the test then. I won't leave a specific time here, as it hasn't seemed to work in the past. I hope we can get this test done before the school term starts again!

Sorry about that, my friends list was full. However, I've cleared up some space and I have now added you on PSN 👍 .

Akasaka Grand Prix is covered I have volunteered. If I can't make it for some reason I will let you guys know.

Hello WanT, I'd be happy to meet with you on GT5 if you follow the registration process listed in the OP.

Updates:
I finally got my computer fixed. I've also met with bodyguard and he passed the evaluation just fine. In addition, I've updated the OP to separate events that need a Safety Car from the events that have a Safety Car.

bodyguard Evaluation Review
Speed: Steady enough, within the 1-2 mph allowance.
Accelerating for Restarts: Pulled off at the right time. A bit early at first but got better.
Picking up the Field All pull offs were good. Some were a slightly early, but not too early.
Driving Line: In the middle for the most part. Needed to slow down for certain sections, but got it right after a second attempt.
Knowledge of Process: There was a lot of miscommunication at first, mainly due to some mic problems I was having I believe, but after things were made clear everything was done right.
Patience: Doesn't mind waiting for things. Good.

bodyguard Dodge Raceway (Tokyo Bay Oval) Review
Speed: Steady from what I could see. There was some backup in the field on rare occasion but I believe most (if not all) of it was driver error.
Accelerating for Restarts: Pulled off at the right time every time. There was one time where I had to adjust the number of laps which caused confusion for when to pull off, but I'm not placing any blame. It was easy mistake that I've personally made as well. It was easily fixed by quick communication and didn't cause an issue.
Picking up the Field All pull offs were good. There were a couple times where the field wasn't picked up on time. The first time was a mic error and the second time due to being away from the console. Please communicate when you have to leave your console next time.
Driving Line: Not much of a factor as this was an oval track, but it was right in the center.
Knowledge of Process: Picked it up very quickly and didn't need much instruction at all. He understood the 2 lap process I gave him and only had a problem for the pull off one time because I had to call a quick 1 lap Caution because we had a 3 lap Caution earlier. That was temporary change in the process and not your fault.
Attitude: Got offended by some criticism by one of the drivers, they worked it out okay, but I feel that the discussion was too long. This issue wasn't entirely your fault, but it wasn't settled quickly enough. Your explanation was accurate and I feel you did a great job for your first race.
Patience: Stayed put the entire time he wasn't pacing and even stayed for 3 Green-White-Checker's.
Final Comment: Overall, I was amazed by how well and how quickly you got the 2 lap process down. It really helps that you have a keyboard to type with. You made no mistakes that weren't normal for a first race. I think you did a great job.

Greatly appreciated, Peel! I didn't function as well that late at night, but I think it was a good experience nonetheless. Hopefully I'll pace another one of your races in the future! I was surprised at how easy it was to spin a NASCAR!

Thanks again.

So yeah i'm close to an opener and caution but i will be able to maintain races as Junior Endurance too. I'm avaliable close to everyday except Saturday at more than 5pm

I think you did well. I was really impressed by how quickly you got the process down. I don't think I'll be doing many races until GT6 comes out, but I'm sure you can find some races as people need SC drivers. I think this thread just needs more activity and by then we'll have plenty of drivers to take races and actually have a few events to take as well.

Ok, send me a FR over PSN so we can schedule something. Sorry for the late reply, been a busy week and is that 5 pm EST or PST?

Announcement:
I've updated the time for the Akasaka Grand Prix. redbull, are you still taking that event?

Hello All! Our first special event race in Turtle Racing League is the Daytona Psycho 500, and we are CONSIDERING getting a pace car for us. Our Regulations and rules.

Turtle Racing League Enduro Series

-Our Pace speed is 60-70 MPH
-We are thinking of having automatic caution laps on lap 75 and 125, not sure yet
-maximum of 2 caution laps (1st lap pits open, 2nd green)
-if a wreck involving 2 of more drivers crash, a caution is called. (Pace Car Driver must have FULL TRACK VIEW)
-We are considering putting the time back more for the start of the race, But as it stands, for sure it will be on Saturday! and as turtle time always applies of 10 p.m eastern time / 9 p.m central time (When Qualifying begins)
-More info will be pm to you if you are able to be our pace car. Thank you for your time!
-Race is on November 2nd, 2013
-Please remember we mute our mics during the race, but in this case, we may have it on, if necessary, please type quick as possible when you see 2 or more nascars spinning out.
-Dont worry about wreckless driving, as i have addressed in our thread this is clean racing, and i will be posting in turtle racing league to pace car rules.
-Also, we would like the pace car to be ghosted on the road to your left when coming out of the pits, so there is no distraction.
-We hope the pace car can pay attention at all times as well
-When about to go green, coming off turn 4, you may go into the pits but the leaders will maintain a good 60-70 mph pace as the leader has the right of way when to take off.
-They all know if anybody from 2nd to last jumps on the leader will be penalized in the overall points for saturday night.
-Feel free to check our thread, even if your interested in joining us, you may! anybody! All the information is on the thread, if you have any questions PM me or reply in this thread.

-League Director of Turtle Racing League-

Somehow reminds me of what Matti and I was talking about earlier in the thread: the Americans need the safety/pace cars, the Europeans like to play SC/PC, unfortunately though, the time of racing is never good enough to allow that  (10 p.m. Eastern time is 4 a.m. here :dopey: )

We run without a pace car on circuit enduro races, but in this case its a special event. We used psycho because that was our previous owner which we all miss who went on MIA sadly. One of the turtles mentioned this pace car idea to me which I liked it and Im still going to talk to others what they think. I think its cool! Glad you have this thread up! 👍

Glad to hear it! I'd recommend 65 mph as pace speed for Daytona. You'll also have to let the pace car driver know when you're coming up on the lap for the Competition Yellow if you decide to implement that, as we won't have the active lap count. Just let us know what you and your drivers decide on. I'd be happy to pace for you. Just keep us posted.

Oh right right. Okay ill let everyone know the competition caution laps (75 and 125) once they completed, completed! there 74th lap and 124th lap, as I'm thinking we are all going to slow down and go pace speed 65 mph (pace car doesn't know the current lap) we all go in the pits. Here's when the pace car has to keep an eye behind the incoming cars.. pace car will start to go 65 mph roughly and the pace car goes around the track and coming off turn 4, go back in the pits as the leader will lead the way at 65 mph.

Chances are we would like you join us. Any other questions let me know

I might have a new addition to our safety/pace car types, though it's not really either. It is an opener though. I can PM you further details if you want me to :)

I also have half a dozen if not more Pace Cars, and I'd gladly contribute a few 👍

I'm not the one to judge but if it has been agreed on in the respective championship, I guess it can 👍

Peelster had me use a Camaro for the Indianapolis race in his ERA NASCAR series. So it can depending on the championship that you are pacing for. The actual pace car is safer to use for night races because of the flashy lights and stuff.

I don't remember if you were there, but Peel, Matti and I tested exactly how visible the lights were.. Midnight at the Norschleife, and you could notice the lights almost from one end of the long straight to another (that's about 1.33 miles :scared: )

It all depends on who the series leader is it's not up to us what to drive. I could see the SLS for F1 however.

This 👍
