The Things That Annoy You

Rubberbanding in Custom Races is so annoying. There is some kind of battle at the beginning of a race but once I pit and the AI don't, they start driving so slowly in order to catch them. On the other hand when they pit and I am able to build some lead, they start driving 20 s faster a lap. When I choose "boost off" I literally mean stop unnatural boosting cars. Overall I think Custom Races need a complete overhaul. Get rid of boost, allow us to choose mandatory tires, usable tires and number of pit stops, allow AI to differentiate between compounds, add qualification, championships. There is a missed opportunity there to keep us playing and having fun

I don’t know about that PS4 post, but there were mixed messages at the start

Had the game been marketed the way way speaks in this interview, things may have gone down better. However, the hoarding during COVID didn’t help.

Don't know how far along into development did their plans change but the game was clearly marketed as a PS5 exclusive early on before the wording was scrubbed closer to release.

But now that it is a cross gen/cross platform multiplayer title, I cannot see a way for PD to justify cutting off PS4 support. And it's not like cutting off the PS4 will suddenly make the PS5 version better. Why work on extra features for a game that's already made most of its sales when you can work on the next one?

Basically, yes. GT7 was never intended for PS4, it was modified to work with PS4 as a stopgap due to C19 and supply issues. Who here doesn't know that GT7 is supposed to be a PS5 game,?? It's beyond time that we get the game that was advertised, not the reduced model.
I cannot buy a PS5, so stuff your ideas, how selfish can you be?

I should be able to host a lobby, restart if I want to and not have to ask everyone to quit out. What’s the point of hosting I’d you don’t have the reigns completely? I should also be able to kick players easily without having to sacrifice my own game by backing out, finding the player and booting them.

And a whole lot more about this awesome game annoys me as well but the list is too long. Actually a quick button to hide or show the HUD would be greatly welcomed by many I’m sure.

Some of the museum entries do not include an image of the car that is meant to be presented. Some of the cars do have readily available images of them online. BMW 600, Bugatti EB112, Toyota Toms Celica C... Its pretty minor so it can be forgiven.

I would like to see some of the cars presented also show up or return in the game at some point. The oldest cars they can find for each manufacturer and still not break the bank.

I can't afford a PS5 either, due to working only part time now. But to be honest, GT7 is the only game I really play on PlayStation anymore, so I can't justify spending money on a new console for one game.

OT; Being unable to change car on the custom race screen. If it meets the event regulations, I should be able to choose the car before starting the race while still on the event screen. I mean, Really PD? How'd you miss that one? Tsk, tsk, tsk....

Annoying no Pirelli tyre stickers. Probably due to the Michelin partnership for everything Gran Turismo esport.
Yea, but there is a workaround though. If you still have GT Sport, you can save a livery with the Pirelli tyre stickers and then you can edit the livery in 7 with the Pirelli tyre stickers.

obviously only works with cars that were in Sport!

Giving us a limited set (only shocks) of suspension adjustment in the Manufacturer Cup.
If the cars where street car like in the first round of the Nations Cup I would understand only the shocks being adjustable but, GRs' are racecars with full control suspension settings.

There is no incentive to post a new time after leaderboards have been reset because it doesn't pay anything. Even as little as 10% of the original payout would okay.

How would you propose having BoP enabled while allowing mechanical tuning?

If FIA real world rules where followed, suspension and diff would be fully adjustable. Transmission would be limited to final drive adjustable. And, I would be very grateful for that.

BOP is mostly a factor of power to weight. We should not be locked out of basic settings that are allowed in the real world given this is a "Real Driving Simulator". IMHO

I’m talking about race cars. Tuning suspension, differential, gearing and aero should be a part of BoP, just like it is in real life. It would also remove the need of having 3 different BoPs (low, medium, high speed), because people could set the gearing.

In GT Sport legends cars they appeared often even if you don't succeed to get one.
In gt7 I have never had any "expensive" car in wheel of despair!!!! Only crapy parts!!!!

The full custom suspension you can buy is pretty disappointing. Sure it allows for "adjustment" but in reality it's nowhere close to the top spec suspension from KW (Which sponsors the game) or Nitron. Oh and the traction control that's way too intrusive compared to other games, even GT6 which allowed you to drift with TC on 1.
