I'd like to get clarity to the deadline as it seems to have changed. Previously it was 11:59 PM on a said day which obviously means the last minute of that day.

Now it's 12:00 PM Sunday. What is 12:00 PM Sunday exactly? The moment of midnight between Saturday and Sunday, the moment of noon on Sunday or the moment of midnight between Sunday and Monday? Actually sounds like noon to me. I've sent my final time already anyway as I didn't want to get caught without a result but I'd still like some clarification, and if I may give my opinion, a 24 hour time system would be very nice.
 
Yeah, sorry Rene, it's noon for tomorrow, or about 1900 your time. ;)

So....I have until 3am Monday then if that time serves me correctly, being +10 GMT. No worries, last day shenanigans coming right up. :P

Now you have slow splits. but if you keep with the program.you will see your times and splits will get better and better.might not happen now but in time dude:tup:

The key to being real fast is first being smooth. Listen to what the car is telling you instead of freaking out because it's not doing what it's supposed to. Keep in mind this car isn't built for your specific driving style and that you may have to step away from your normal style to adapt. Follow this and grow into it, and you will get much faster. ;)


So, first week is over. Yes, it was turbulent, yes it was in your face, but a lot had fun and I think a good many are happy for a change of venue. So where next... Special Stage Route 5, a nice big/fat highway race with a good deal of gentle corners and a good technical section. Keep it off the walls kids. :D

Hey Corey, would be alright to quit? I'm thinking of becoming a better tuner, and then go as my tuning garage, so that the cars are my driving style.

Would this race series be open to driver entry mid-season? I'm going away this coming Monday to Friday, but would be ready to drive for any garage looking for another driver straight after that. Every garage has a car that I'd really like to drive.

Yes, I missed the time limit again because I can't be bothered to figure out what 12 pm means for the civilized world. For pete's sake, can't you tell it in GMT or such?
 
Concerning the headache surrounding the timezone deal, I changed it (as well as the day to submit). It's now arranged for Monday 1700 GMT-0, which is exactly the same time as it has been but I guess this simplifies this. :lol:

Err, it would be Sunday 1700 GMT if you want to have the same time as 12.00 PM Sunday. Finland is seven hours ahead of you and two hours ahead of GMT - thus 1700 GMT.

Yeah, had to back away from all this to refocus on real life stuff, but I'm mostly free until this Summer, a condition of which I plan to make maximum use! :sly:
 
I'm really sorry guys, but real life has caught up with me recently and I don't have time to hang out here quite so much any more, as such I'm going to have to retire from this series, sorry Greycap & Leonidae, I was really enjoying the Spirra too. :(
 
Is it too late to throw my hat in the ring? It's been a while since I played any GT4 but I've delved into GT5p pretty hard here in the past couple weeks, so hopefully that will translate backwards.
