Yeah, it was surprisingly warm for San Diego this time of year – 77°F. But boy did I enjoy it! :)

I'll sell you guys some cold air, and even throw in some rain, for $100.

As I head to my nice, toasty bed, it's 44 degrees and raining steadily outside. Really, we don't have much need for weather reports in November. It's pretty much the same miserable story every day.

if it means rain, i'll take it, our tank would nearly be empty by now

it started off very nice and hot at school today, but that soon changed i was so hot at recess, but wished i had my jumper at lunchtime

We got a long thunderstorm, the computers at school went out, but they came back on so we didn't get out of work:grumpy:

The thunder was so loud after lunch, we were doing PE in the rec centre, and it was cold, i saw lightning out the window in the middle of the day, when i got home, the power was out for 3 hours, no stove, no TV, no computer and no ps2, i was scared:nervous:, but by 6pm the power was back

So today's weather was bizzare:scared:, it reached the mid-low 30s early but then the cool change came in, an eventful day to be remembred

It's around 50-60 F here, a little on the cool side but just warm enough to feel good. Plus, once again: no clouds, just blue.

From,
Chris.

What a difference from yesterday. It's very hazy, cloudy and much cooler (it's about 83). No AC. No sweating. It's still not Holiday Weather, though.

Basically what describes us here. Just throw in some really muddy and clouded water because of the mudslides into the water reservoir, too. Oh, and multiple storms after the terrible one last week - we just had another mild storm yesterday.

Around 1:30 this afternoon:

Shortly before this storm hit us, there were guys working on the roof of our building, putting up some sort of metal scaffolding :scared:

still raining up in Seattle? We had some heavy snow for about a minute here in Dayton yesterday.

Anyway, it's cold balls outside. My Sol's thermostat doesn't close so I'm stuck driving a cold balls car for 10 minutes, too.

BIG rain storm coming over London right now.... I'll try and get some decent pics on my phone... it's getting pretty dark!

It finally stopped raining here! Well, now it's just frozen, anyway. It's 31 degrees and snowing. Inside my aparment, after 4 days of my absence, it's 54 degrees and dry :). Sweatshirt is on until the heaters start doing their thing.

For the past four days, the temp never got past 63. Yet, two days before then it was past 90.

SoCal weather, man. Love it or hate it.

32° celcius out. Might take advantage of this weather soon and go for a bike ride or skateboard.

This morning at about 7:30, my little sister came into my room and woke me up saying "it snowed last night!" All we recieved was just a light dusting.

Well, today I went to our museum of flight. Afterwards, I stepped outside and...

ITS SNOWING ITS SNOWING ITS SNOWING IT'S SNOWING IT'S SNOWING ITS SNOWING ITS SNOWING ITS SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And, IT'S ACTUALLY STICKING!!!!

In about 1h45, we've got a sorta significant amount stuck to the ground.

Sorry guys, it never snows here so excuse my five-year old behavoir. We'll see just what happens tomorrow morning. Maybe I won't have school, seeing as how there is not enough snow trucks around here to get the city moving for a day of two.

Its around -25 C here, should be around -29 C when I head to work tonight. Thank god for a heated garage. (all these temps dont include the nasty wind chill :nervous: )

Snow storm stuck us for the past two days. 40cm accumulated and it snowed nonstop. Then the power went out yesterday at around 5:30. The power line outside out house short circuited. This storm is unprecendented for us Vancouverites...its chaos everywhere. Even the busy street in front of me is empty right now, and schools are closed everywhere. My body hurts from shoveling the snow.

My damn car got it's passenger window smashed out last night (loser took like $2.50 in change), and it snowed 8 inches... great combination!

I came in here to whine about the cold weather we are having in Oregon. I guess it wasn't that bad. I was freaking out over the high in 30's to 40's, but I guess I'll deal with it. :grumpy: :D

And yet, a few miles south, we can't get any snow to stick. We had about .5 in. about an hour ago. Now, nothing. Stupid Olympic rain shadow.

-25? the lowest night on record here is about +2, i can't imagine any colder than that:scared: i can hardly imagine real snow either

The rain shadow has little to do with it, though it can be thanked for the fact that we only get 35-40 inches of rain each year instead of 150. The snow today was due to the convergence zone, which formed in the wake of the storm that moved through yesterday. The very cold air from the north met with the warmer, moist air from the south, creating the snow. Throughout the day (which was very bizzare; I've never seen sun followed by snow followed by sun in about 30 minutes), the zone moved south, finally reaching the Seattle metro area (and Qwest Field ;)). Around 5:30, it started snowing quite hard in Bellevue, where I was. It wasn't snowing when I got home about an hour later, but it obviously had been. It's supposed to snow a little more tonight, so don't give up hope yet :). Whatever we get will stick around for a few days, while the sun comes out and the temperature drops. The high for tomorrow is supposed to be 34 degrees. With fresh snow and sun, I can't think of a better winter day :D.

Somebody was telling me snow stuck on the ground near Seattle....

I used to love snow, as it closed schools. Work never closes due to snow(well, almost never), plus I gotta drive in it with other inexperienced(being extremely nice) drivers, so I'm not too crazy about them anymore. I had to get my tire chains out, just few minutes ago, AND I'll probably have to commute few minutes earlier tomorrow morning. :guilty:

It's a rare sight indeed :). Usually when it snows here, it's a degree or two above freezing, which keeps it from easily sticking to the ground. Today that was not a problem, so whatever fell stuck around. There's a nice blanket outside (albeit thin), from the inch or so that fell this afternoon. It's 24 degrees outside right now, so that snow is not going anywhere anytime soon.
