Very cold and a big rain storm came though around 7:30AM.

Not typical SoCal weather. I'm ready for it to get hotter.

just checked the news, maximum temp 38 tomorrow, lucky we're going swimming at school, but we get hotter than that

We finally got some snow to stick around here. School is closed today:). Getting around should be an adventure today. It was torture getting heavy snowfall & 1 inch on the ground but having it melted by the next day.

I noticed it was snowing pretty hard up there when I was watching football last night.

Enjoy your day off from school.

they get a day off school because of snow? no fair:grumpy:

it's only 11:30am and it's 33C, and i went home from school sick so no school swim

With roads everywhere worse than a skating rink, only about half of the people showed up at work today. It must have set the record for the number of people who were victims of the weather on a perfectly sunny day :).

I had a day off yesterday. It was pretty cool. We now have 50cm of snow in our backyard - we can't even get into the balcony. Its totally covered. This morning, when I walked to school the cold air and wind chill made it feel like -15C. My head hurt the entire day.

Right now we got this monsterous 1.5m icicle all around our house from melting snow. They said another system will be hitting us tomorrow.

It is reportedly still snowing in Vancouver Island.

The road was bit icy this morning, but my work didn't close today. I had to stay late, infact. Passing up couple of tickets and a dinner pass to an NBA game. :grumpy:

My car's outside temperature gauge read 32 degrees on the way home tonight. Good thing the road had dried or I would've had to skate home.

It has been unseasonably warm here in Michigan, which is odd, because we had a short snow storm several months ago, but have yet to see any new stuff as of late. Currently it has been raining on and off, and even at 11:35PM, the temperature sits at nearly 60F (16C).

We should be getting back to "normal" by Thursday. They are calling for a Rain/Snow mix with temps sitting at 50F (10C), but we will see. As the saying goes in Michigan, "If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes."

...But even then, we normally have some snow on the ground shortly after Halloween (doesn't mean it sticks around), and by post-Thanksgiving, a few inches are the "norm."

"If you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes."
They say that about Portland(Oregon) too! I heard that Detroit is trying to steal the "Rip City" name away from Portland, also! Why, Michigan! :D

38ºC here in Adelaide. Just went for a bike ride too. Lucky I have my camelbak, very handy on a day like today.

38? you're dreaming :P, it was supposed to be 38 so the weather man said yesterday, I've been out in the sun most the morning and afternoon and It doesn't feel 38 at all although it does seem to be warming up now in the later afternoon.

You probably live on the cold side of Hallett Cove.:P

Is 38 not warm enough for you, Viper? I'm sure the best is yet to come. Enjoy your summer :).

Right now, it's -7 outside, and falling (that's also 19, 266, or 479 degrees, depending on your scale of choice). I'm nice and toasty in my 500 square foot paradise, but I can hear my electric bill growing...

We still have an exeptional warm month (november). It's about 10°C (50°F) warmer than normal.

This is quite upsetting – it’s not supposed to get this cold down here! 👎

Our dear blue planet has tilted a couple of degrees, that's why the climate is changing dramatically, the last few years.

You both live in Adelaide right? our temperature's the same as Adelaide, so we just go by Adelaide temp, it's 5:45pm and my thermometer says 36 right now, so it would've been close to 38

OK, so the high is going to be about 71 F today and then we expect snow tomorrow.

It must be global warming. We didn't listen! :sly:

I forgot to post this earlier (as I said I would), the news said it reached a maxium of 33 degrees C yesterday, today was much hotter in the first half of the day (or felt it)

Last two days have been damn cold. High of 60 and low of 36 with high winds. :nervous:

At least today is supposed to be warmer.

Snowed again last night for about 10cm. Right now all the gigantic icicles are starting to melt, but its already 4:15pm so it'll freeze back again tonight. I wonder how the roads will be in the coming hours...

...We're due for almost a foot of snow by the end of the day tomorrow. Funny, it was almost 65F the other day, but it has been weird weather across the country over the past few days. I'm hoping we get some kind of delay or cancellation of school tomorrow, but we will see what happens...

Bah. 38 is nothing. We got 39 (102) today

But yeah, screw that. I'm going to the beach too.

Bah. 39 is nothing. We had 46 last Wednesday. No joke.
Beat that :sly:

Wish I could go to the damn beach :grumpy:
