Yep, the road car. No race cars
Ok, the Atenza Road Car struggles because:
1. It has very limited tuning options
2. It drinks more benzene than Zsa Zsa Gabor at a gender reveal party
Nevertheless it can win convincingly with a cunning plan (One-stop strategy)
The only significant tuning option is the choice of turbo. Whilst the High rpm Turbo is quicker it uses more fuel, which hurts twice as much when you're sitting in the pits. The Low rpm Turbo uses less fuel, but loses to Suswillo on the long straight. So a reasonable compromise is to use the Medium rpm Turbo.
Also remove the rear spoiler for a (slightly) higher top speed
, and tune the suspension.
At the start of the race you can use IM tires on the back, which slightly improves your lap times, then pit at the end of lap 6 for fresh SH all round and an eternity of fuel.
Shift gears at 8,000 rpm (rather than 8,500) to save fuel and ensure a one-stop race.
Monitor fuel closely to ensure you make it to the end of lap 6 before pitting. If you're running low, dial back the Fuel Mix through the curves, or short shift earlier for a few laps.
@Habla2k , et al. For Auto gearbox, it might be better to use the High rpm Turbo and Fuel Mix on 2 or 3 as required.
