Don't troll. I clearly said what xbox problems are.
That's what I don't really get about this, they say that it's an "all in one" box and that they want people to watch TV through the Xbox but at the end of the day it's jut a pass-through device enabling people to control it with Kinect.
As I said earlier I know for a fact if it was to work with my Virgin V+ HD box it would not be as fast and smooth as the demonstration with whichever US service they demoed it with.
John RiccitelloGamers will want, and learn to love, the good parts of consoles being more connected to our digital lives than was possible with the machines launched eight years ago. Some gamers fear the new consoles could be more about a DRM-walled garden than about enabling new types of connected gameplay. More about squashing second-sale (used games) than allowing us to play the games we own at our friends houses, in dorms or at home, without having to bring the disk with us. I dont believe consoles managed as walled-gardens will succeed longer term.
That list has many kinect games so if you include them, there obviously there are many games. But it is a fact, that is the weakest thing about xbox.
Damn my favourite racing franchise has ditched my wheel and gone to a Sky broadcasting box.
You could knock me over with a feather, I would never have guessed.
What do you mean ditched your wheel?
Surely the Fanatec wheels that work on the xbox 360 work on the Xbox One?
Either you're mistaken or MS have dropped XiD and haven't gone to HiD but something else entirely.
The old game pads don't work apparently. I thought the wheel would be in the same boat.
Thomas hasn't clarified either so I'm thinking its a no go. I'd be happy to be wrong.

I agree. If the wheels where gonna work on the x1 I believe Thomas would be on all the fourms saying such. I think his silence speaks volumes.
JoystiqXbox One was designed from the ground up with entirely new technology to deliver a new generation of experiences for both games and entertainment For example, the Wireless Controller will connect to the console using high speed data transfer to enable higher fidelity headset audio and future controller add-on experiences that are not possible with Xbox 360 wireless technology. Additionally, the all-new Kinect sensor's ability to locate the wireless controller is dependent on new technology. In order for Xbox One to deliver robust, meaningful gaming scenarios for all users across all experiences, only Xbox One controllers and accessories will work with the new console.
However, while it isn't explicitly said, Microsoft's statement seems to indicate the Xbox One won't support any Xbox 360 accessories. When asked on Twitter if the new system supports Xbox 360 headsets, Xbox Support reiterated the statement we received, saying, "Only Xbox One accessories will work with Xbox One, which helps us deliver better headset audio and other benefits.

Most of the games on that Xbox 360 list aren't Kinect games and as a gaming system it was comparably strong to PS3. That's fact, not opinion. That list has many kinect games so if you include them, there obviously there are many games. But it is a fact, that is the weakest thing about xbox.
Can you provide a source for the PS4 having DRM?I'm sorry, but some people really need to grow up. Oh noes! DRM and Kinect and TV, oh my!
If you want an Xbone, live with it. DRM is here, and will be here for the PS4 as well (they just haven't announced it yet). Kinect, you can actually switch the camera off if you don't want it on, it just has to be plugged in. Why don't you just take it off the top of the TV, or turn it around to face the wall? I'm not bothered by it at all. TV? If you don't want it, don't use it. It just give people the ability to use the console as a Smart TV without having to buy one.
Whatever the solution is for Fanatec its not going to be free for owners of current wheels, and right now its stopping at least one person buying a wheel form them.Old controllers not working is an issue, but I'm sure Fanatec will find a solution, because if MS ever expect to sell any of the Forza branded wheels, they will have to be supported. Maybe the reason why Thomas from Fanatec can't say anything about it is because they are governed by NDAs. SMS are governed by NDAs about the Wii-U, and the damn console has been released!
Its a discussion forum, that means (as long as the AUP is followed) people from both sides get to have a say. That I can assure you is not going to change. This thread just seems to be going round and round in circles, 'I'm not buying this console because it has TV/DRM/Kinect always on (which it doesn't)/Online always on (which it doesn't)/my house is on fire/wibble' annoys me. If you're not going to buy it, why do you feel the need to tell us why we shouldn't buy one?
