Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Remember how the weather display on Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was linked up to an actual website that gave us real time weather updates? And it wasn't just RAIN OFF/ON like we have in Gran Turismo 5, but things like fog, light rainstorms, heavy rain storms, snow, thunderstorms, high winds, sunny?

I would like for them to make good on that. Also bring back the clean interface of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue. It was marvelous and (dare I say) perfect. I honestly wish GT5's menu was just a slightly bigger version of GT5: Prologue's menu.

And I want this song to return:

1. Track Surfaces.
What would be cool is if we could switch the surfaces of tracks ie: K-Trail could have the option to have either dirt or tarmac surface selection.
2. Track Editor.
The ability to select various sectors of existing race tracks and meld them together. ie: Eau Rounge Section up into the loop of Cape Ring then down onto the downhill section of Eiger Norwand and then onto the S's of Suzuka.

Cash prizes for each time you complete a rally event, not just the first time. Would add quite a lot of playtime if some of the tracks are auto-generated with the course maker.

I'm going to bring up the dreaded F-word again. ;)

Besides the wonderful suspension modeling and pretty good tire modeling in F4, though I think every tire compound resembles the dynamics of racing tires too much to suit me, the graphics are fascinating. Turn 10/MS hired a Hollywood graphics studio to rework the graphics engine with them, and that pricey budget item paid off handsomely. Graphics were always good in Forza, and while they still have just a hint of CG about them, they have a gritty realism in F4 that adds a lot to their character. This shows up very well in photo shoots, where you can take the time to examine every little detail.

The Japanese perspective has always been to aim for perfection, and this has been one of the many criticisms of GT5 I agree with. Other than some occasional rust on guardrails, everything is very clean and pristine, and that's not how the world is. PD needs to dirty GT6 up.

True.

But's if there's one thing about Forza's graphics that I hope GT doesn't take after, it's their over-saturated and unrealistic color palette. Forza 4 is way too bright. The grass is too green and the glare on some tracks is ridiculous. GT's color palette and lighting is so much better.

I would like to see more live action elements integrated into the menus and events. Like the intro to gt2 or the track info videos from gt5 prologue. Just think of how much better it would have been in gt5 if they actually shot video of Sebastian Vettel or jeff gordon possibly in a real pit lane or green screened into the game. The mocap that they did was absolutely horrible.

YES! If Forza were more reserved with their colors and brightness, it would look SO good. As it is, it just hurts my eyes right now.

Me wants slipstream racing, Tuner manufacturer challenges & car manufacturer challenges (Like in many GT games I loved those challenges!) Exclusive tuner company parts (like in other GT games)

Special race challenges. And special race offers.

Reading through the list in OP, I see some itens that are... "peculiar" to say the least. I mean, Sonic-Boom after 768mph, really? And people complain the X1 is too fast.
Other than that I completely agree with other suggestions. The ability to control the convertable tops is very nice for photo shooting and could affect gameplay aswell.

I don't know if this has been said before, but I'd like to be able to adjust the front wings installed on street cars. They were pretty useless in GT5.

This was my GT5 List, but with limited time to edit here it is.

Add the ability to:
0. B Spec same make races, as well as race with cars from your garage only.
1. Create custom named garages with no quanity limits.
2. View and sort (filter) all cars at once, by any criteria,
3. See all cars from all dealers, used, and online in one place, and purchase mutiple cars at once using filters. This would make it easier to shop wisely, example, all cars I don't own, all cars that can be race modified
4. Perform tune ups and maintenance on more than one car at a time. Select all cars that need an oil change, then do it. Select all the cars you want slect part on and do it.
5. Remember various settings threw out the game, such as B-spec full track view.
6. Make all music optional, tired of the same tracks during tune ups and maintenance.
7. Have separate sound outputs for each diver in split screen.
8. LAN play - not everyone has or wants to play on-line, but loves to play head to head against friends in the same room. Not to mention future posible lack of support.

9. On-line race replays with save option! I have had some great races on-line and would have loved to have had them saved!
10. Track creator like Mod Nation Racers - To have the ability to layout the track just they way you want in GT5... speechless!
11. Game save data with user name suffix, so each user can back up their saves to the same flash drive.
12. !!!All Car Download PACK!!! - We Paid for collectors edition, over 1000 cars paid for and can't used them all. It's almost like false advertisement.

13. Increase the daily gift limit, so those of us who have more can share, especially when we win duplicate cars!
14. Allow purchasing of cars for a specific event directly from that events menu. Load times are long enough, it's frustrating trying to go out to the dealers remember what the requirements were then navigate back to the race.

15. Auto save and shutdown feature after B-spec races, so we can leave it unattended.

16. What's this 20mil cap? Come on loose it, so we hit 19,900,000 then win a race for 108,000 and loose the balance! not cool, or buy a car at 20,000,000 then have no money to spend on anything else like parts for other cars!

17. Endless paint and less limits on what apearances can be changed. More car appearance customizations, such as liveries, decals, white wall tires, stripes, body kits, custom plates.

18. Be able to put a deposit on a car in the online and used dealerships so you have a better chance of getting them.

19. Fix Gordan's flat mouth puppet talk video, it would be better just to hear him and not see that.

20. Narration of the car history would be nice

21. Make menu navigation more intuitive. It's kinda nuts that you go up to something by accident then try to go back down to where you were and you end up somewhere totally different!

I want to see a wider FOV for a better sense of speed.
And finally a fixed closer to the car 360° rotating chase view.

I would LOVE a garage shortcut in the Special Stage Route X and everywhere else almost like when you play online ! As well as a drag strip that works with lights when players line up all the time because ghost lag is not cool ..

Am I alone in wanting paint-able wings? being able to colour code my wing would be brilliant, it's not like Carbon Fibre is some kind of paint repelling material..

we need almos every car from 1900's to 2014, also the ability to put a wide range variety of parts on the car, also the turbos sucked on gt5 they were like constantly making the same noise for every car..make it were if you want power the turbo has to spool up just for you to get it, unless you lets say umm go buy a antilag controller..make it real with it, make sure they have different typse of bov's, or run a turbo without one...you know..for instant listen to a rb20 skyline on high boost it sounds amazing. make it were its like a nfs game for a little:crazy:

Here's one more thing I hope that PD changes for GT6; to just have a single Race Mode rather than B-Spec & A-Spec modes. I prefer if A & B Spec are just options you can choose for how you want to do an event like how it was in GT4. I only like B-Spec for if I have to do an endurance and A-Spec for everything else.

I would love to see Drag Racing implemented in :) here's wishing to a tree, separated lanes and individualized timed runs with an in-lobby leaderboard

Ability to revert upgrades.
Replay function after a race instead of saving it and viewing it in the theater
Change the speedometer/rev counter to analog style (I hate the bar)

I also want more peeps in a room.

VTEC overload lol

- Longer and better single player championships: GT5 didn't have the 10 race series that GT3 and GT4 did.

- No more level system

The two biggest issues for me are

1. Sounds : 90% of cars sound hilariously bad in GT5, the good ones don't sound great. When I played Forza at my mates house it made me sad, all the cars sounded crazy awesome.

2. Clutch : The gearbox/clutch system is useless in GT5 and does not work like a real car, other games have working clutches that allow you to change gear properly, GT6 needs this if it wants to call itself "The Real Driving Simulator".

And I suppose the Career could be a lot better, GT5 special events were absolutely awesome but the A-Spec/B-Spec was a borefest of pointless/meaningless races.
