What did you change?

Good call on the hard top but they're not versions. They're just optional extras to cover the soft top (there designed roadsters) but they do look a little better sometimes, but adding weight isn't really an option in this type of game but would be a good little extra to buy in GT Auto (same with BMW Z4)

Fine, "options" it is, not versions. :)

Adding weight isn't really an option? It's like you're saying ballast is useless and/or pointless. If it is, then why would PD even bother to include it in the tuning options? You should know, ballast can prove to be useful in tuning cars.

I'd prefer extra weight than less protection. Think about it, any car can barrel-roll in GT5, and I'm just surprised that the roof on soft-tops and the driver inside don't get squashed when the car hits the ground upside-down. It's not realistic, y'know what I'm saying? 💡 ;)

Good, point. Roll cages is needed then as a tuning part. Yeh ballast is helpfull (series use ballast to get every car equal) but adding a roof is also raising the centre of gravity.

I want to see a unified XP leveling system

What I mean is I want 1,000 XP between every level from 1-100

I dont want 3242 Xp between levels 3 and 4, but 1,000. I dont want 353523 XP between levels 88 and 89, but 1,000 XP. I think that would organize things alot better and make them more understandable

XP should be given out on a formula that takes into account the PP level of the car your using, the PP level of the opponents, and the length of the race. Using a X1 in the Sunday cup should "earn" you 1 XP. Using a non modified Daihatsu in a Sunday Cup race should earn you 10-15 XP. Win a Formula GT race and you earn around 300 XP

Bolded words=very important

1. Open roads for free roaming (a mountain road like Eiger only longer would be awesome!).
2. Realistic A to B rally tracks
3. Better track maker
4. Event generator: chose AI cars, time limit or laps etc.
5. Multi-class racing (LMP&GT, GT300&GT500 etc.)
6. Better pit stop animations.
7. More time&weather change tracks (night Suzuka would be amazing)
8. Ability to ban online idiots for a week (!)
9. Online events like in GT5 Prologue
10. Add decals/vinyls
11. Qualifying
12. Optional B-spec like in GT4
13. Menus like in GT4
14 Some menu music from older GTs
15. Moon over the castle in all versions (!)
16. Ability to destroy your car
17. Improve car sounds (GT2 has better car sounds than GT5!)
18. Cheaper cars:dopey:
19. More RM cars like GT2
20. World Endurance Championship, GT1 World Championship, Blancpain Endurance Series and more
21. Better crash physics
22. More rollovers
23. Realistic penalties (drive-trough penalty etc.)
24. Less variations, more track locations
25. More restrictions in Career races (can't use an X1, FGT, or LMPs in Super GT championship etc.)
26. Ability to open doors, trunk, bonnet, put the roof up/down
27. Auto Union Type-C Streamliner from GT4 👍
28. Sort your garage as you want (LMPs, GTs, supercars etc.)
29. No UCD hunting anymore :sly:
30. No Skid Recovery Force (!)
31. More agressive AI
32. Tweak the chase camera like in GT2
33. Test course included for FREE
34. Prize cars can be won more than once
35. Cars get very dirty after rally
37. Less NASCAR, more LMP&GT
38. More european/american Super GT cars
39. Red Bull F1 instead of X1
40. Ability to do A-spec races versus AI or online

I'll continue to update:sly:

Not sure if any one has said this but......
I wouldnt mind having the ability to buy a shell of a car and be able to build or convert to a specific race series, Rally/Race/Drift etc, from the ground up. everything new by not destroying a new car but doing what you want to a new shell. (should people have said similar i think). Being able to but any drive train, Any engine, Welded chassis, Huge brakes, Special Wheels and tyres, Wishbone/Rods/Arms, Any Suspension (with bushes), Roll/strut bars, Roll cages, 1 or 2 seat layout with correct racing seats, Custom gearbox, Dails and gauges, ECU, Pumps, Turbos/Superchargers, Forged pistoned, Cams, Pulleys, Racing Fuel tank in boot, other engine parts, Full carbon parts, Body styling and and pure custom car for you. This way you may even save a little money in game.

If GT6 had this, I wouldn't need anything else in this thread. That would be amazing. But you are saying take a shell of an existing car, and replacing all the innards, yes? That would be very cool. You could even give it a custom name to show in your garage and online.

I've been thinking of something like this, but a little more toned down and specific.

I thought it would be neat to have a group of un-licensed engines (albeit based on real engines) that you could put in various sports racer/open-wheel bodies. The engines could also be swapped into road cars to create an almost-spec racing series where you could pick any shell and know that the engine performance would be the same.

Pretty much, Its how alot of pro drift cars end up. As a shell to start again, Ask MADMIKE lol
MadMike-525x295.jpg

This is gen 6 MADBUL, everything is custom
But yeh, Bit like Westcostcustoms style. And old Charger sell but new charger everything else with extra flare if you know what i mean. or for Kaz, an old R34 with new R35 black parts. etc but more mix and match than that. and less branding.

So, like taking a C1 and replacing all the inside stuff from a C6 Z06 with the engine of a Saleen S7TT? Awesome!

Yeh or taking a Scooby Shell ('07 eagle eye one), Stiffen it, roll cage it. Boxer engine and drive train from BRZ GT300 (more power) and keep it simple everywhere else with big brembos, stiff blisten shocks, and smooth aero kit and thats a Drift car right there.

I'd like to see a more organizable garage. Instead of it just being separated by Premium, Standard, and Favorites. I'd like to see the ability to create your own Folders (Garage Bays) so you can organize your car collection the way you want to. It would make finding the car you want to use a lot easier.

Or just taking everything from the ZR1.

... and the headlights from a Mini Cooper.

OMG, this car is porn man! I SO NEED one of them! Corvette C1 lovely style, yet modernized and with ZR1 parts... that car is too much win concentrated.

Nothing else can win, it won all the wins left in the world.

This probably have been mentioned before... :guilty:
  • Ability to transfer cars already bought in GT5 into GT6
Just like what PD's done between GTPSP and GT5. :D

transferring cars from GTPSP to GT5 is near useless, because you can only use the transferred cars in Arcade Mode. What PD needs to do, (please add this to the list:)) is make the transferred cars available in GT Mode. BUT here's the catch. The transferred cars should have 0 mileage and should go back to stock form, all upgrades gone, all settings default. Why? because every GT game presents different tuning options:

- upgrades that appeared in one game but were gone in another (Sports Brakes, from GT1 to GT4 but disappeared in GT5)
- different values obtained for equipping certain upgrades into cars (Turbo Kits, the power gain you get from them and the powerband change they make differs in every GT game)
- different ranges of setting for adjustable tuning parts etc. (Brake Balance Controller and Downforce, the range of values are different in every GT game)

If they made it that way, it'll be easier for everyone. 👍👍

Well when you put it that way... I hope they don't do it. I found GT5 hardly challenging enough as it is because I started off with the five Chromeline cars, Stealth Mclaren and Gamestop Camry.

Believe me, starting a whole new game off with a full garage is not as appealing as you think it might be.

PD has to improve the current system (transferring cars from GTPSP to GT5) then, making the (transferred) cars readily available in your garage in GT6 👍

I'm not sure abot the '0 mileage' part though, maybe they should keep the cars' 'original' mileage in GT6 when transferring from GT5.

Oh, I wanna see the PAL intro with Moon Over the Castle rather than My Chemical Romance, oh god, I hate My Chemical Romance. At least Feeder was good.

nah, they need to revamp the system, because not a lot of people play GTPSP these days. I'd prefer to just transferring the cars from your GT5 garage to GT6 garage. :)

there's a possibility that they changed the calculations on how cars lose engine power because of mileage. If you're still not convinced, question. Would you rather have a car with 300,000km dialed in, or the same car but in 'fresh' and 'pristine' condition? You tell me. :)

just think of the "0 mileage" as a further incentive because they played a previous or another GT game, like in GT Academy 2012, the further incentives are the prizes from the Special Events wherein you get additional GT Auto coupons by using the cars from GT Academy and winning in these events. :D

THIS^ would be awesome. Really handy if you had multiples of the same type of car set up for different thing (ex. 1 set up for drift and 1 set up for drag). Then you could just have a folder for cars set up for drift, cars setup for drag etc..

As mentioned already I wanna see changeable wheel sizes (nothing ridiculous), i find when you change wheels on lots of the older cars in the game the wheels are to big. AE86 is a good example of this.

Better wheel selection as well, GT4 had a much better wheel selection than GT5 and the "Today's Special" feature was really good.

Guys, what do you think about a TRUE online dealership? You sell a car, it goes to the online dealership menu (where it's possible to filter the cars to find the one you like). When someone buys your car you get the money. Of course, higher milleage=less money ;)

Cars: Skyline r34 gts, r33 gts, ER34, Onevia.
