Nope, it's a MaxDrive replay, which is the successor of the SharkPort. If you don't have a MaxDrive but a SharkPort, you can convert the replay data with a converter that's available somewhere in this forum.

And as it has been stated before, the video is the demo run of the S16-license, and it was a human being that drove the car, cause all demo runs are driven by humans. I wanted to point that out because I was the guy who said that it was the demo run, cause I posted the video. :dopey:

The video in post #86 neither is Flinx' run, nor is it the demo run by the way. I suppose it was driven and recorded by Zer0 himself.

Cheers,

guess it's not that hard to get gold on S16 if you know the track then judging form that video.

someone needs the words "slow in fast out" pounded into his/her head :)

nice quality vid tho ;)

lol. Hes right ya know. If you allready know the track from other games it shouldnt be that hard but i just cant imagine learning it from scratch that would be a real challenge

use a slow car (under 150 hp) and just go slowly to learn the lines

shouldn't take more than a few days to have the thing memorized.

that + onboard videos found on the net helps A TON.

my 1st post on these forums will be to congratulate you !!!
an amazingly fast lap I can't wait to try to do it like you :)
I almost got sick wathing the vid, it's crazy fast !!! really good job :)

well, the traction controle indicator was flashing throught the whole rollercoaster ride, would it be possible to push that hard and obtain that time without traction controle? highly unlikley. :)

Wow, there's a lot of difference, in the game, the car has a lot of bump, and the real life : http://privat.bluezone.no/martin.bergvill/NSX/Misc/BestMotoring_NSX-R_NurburgRing.asf (Best Motoring, driven by Gan-San (Kurosawa), he brakes in the straightway, he don't go at full throttle like in GT4)

I'm impress..

A bit off-topi I guess but while were at comapring the reality and game...

I've been to the real track and in some places like the "carrousel" the road is reaaaaallly bumpy (feels like an earthquake when you pass on it) and driving on the red-white things on the border is a no-no at high speeds they are quite high in reality at some places, I did go straight thru a S corner and believe me I slowed down a lot with the dirt and almost jumped when "leaving" the road ;) Tought it was time to stop for the day after that hehe video games are safer !

Hey, I'm still, and I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering whether the original Sauber video was done with a DS2 controller or a force feedback wheel of some sort (DF/DFP/MMF).

Just curious.

The Sauber with Turbo 4 is 1185 PS if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, I don't have the Poly F1.

But guys, check this (thank you PatClash who finds the movie) :

OMG that's awesome, is the 24hr Nurburgring hard with B-spec? i heard at the pits stop the speeds goes back to normal again?

I WANNA HAVE THE F1 AT GT4 NOW

if you're talking about most victorious racing car, i think it'd be hard to beat the E30 M3 when it comes to the number of victories raked in by a car.

Nah, the 917 was the fabulous one.

It was (IMO) the more fabulous, but I believe the 956/962 is Porsche's most successful racing car of all-time.

I believe the overall all-time most successful is the Bugatti Type 35, but can't help thinking that with more races run these days that must have been beaten now. Still, it's numbers of wins as a percentage would be likely unbeatable.

It's always tough to compare - like saying Schumacher is the most successful F1 driver. He is.....but he didn't need to beat Prost, Senna, Mansell, Piquet to win his races. Imagine how many Prost would have won if he had been alone at the top in his heyday! HE won 51. Senna took 41 from him, Mansell took 31, Piquet took, Lauda took - it could have been easily 100 or more.

These things are impossible to compare.

Well said :)

Can't picture the Bugatti Type 35, but I can remember seeing the 1932 Bugatti Type 51 in EVO magazine's 'greatest cars of the century (issue no. 13).

The type 51 was nominated by EVO's bloke in charge Harry Metcalfe as his pick for his last ever ride in a car/last tank of petrol ever.

700kg, 230bhp, 185ib ft of torque, 330bhp per tonne, standing kilometre in 24.73 at 133mph, 500,000 pounds!

They said it was the McLaren F1 of its day!

Well, this is the first time i've seen this track ( i have heard of it before and seen footage of it) but never driven around it in any games or even seen an onboard of the circuit until now. Since im strting from scratch, i hope it won't take me too long to learn. You reckon this circuit is hard as he Complex String in GT3, cos that circuit took a while of practicing, but i mastered it after.
