It doesn't matter which language the trophy description is. It's the japanese one that matters since it's the original.
And also, BASE GAME Trophies cannot be part of a DLC.
And the trophy is not bugged, it works, someone acquired all 424 cars at once (via hacking or something else) in the game and unlocked the following trophies (all of which are car collector related) at the exact same time (to the minute and second):
-Get 50 cars
-Get 100 cars
-Get 3 Legendary Cars
This just means that the car (or cars) we need to unlock this trophy have simply not appeared yet in the LCD.
There's really not much more theory to go off anymore. That was all before this last LCD update which added 2 definite Le Mans winner cars to the already 2 or 3 we got before.
The Ferrari 330 P4 is the most likely answer to this trophy. And soon we will have it in the LCD, in fact, all 10 cars currently in the LCD only have 1-2 or 3 more days left until they are traded for other new ones, so, it's almost a guarantee that the 330 P4 will appear next week.
If the trophy still doesn't pop, then it's another car.

Actually? There is... Remember a few years ago searching for this. And it's unlikely it has been changed. But if you don't trust me, just do a google search or try to find a game that requires DLC for the Plat (hint: you'll find none).
DLC can affect how easy or the how much time you need to get the Platinum, depending on what it adds to the game (gives you more XP, better weapons or items, in GT case, better cars, etc) but never required for the actual trophy.
EDIT: The trophy has already been popped in case you've forgotten mate, just not by us normal players.

Yes they do. It's literally one of their rules when submitting a trophy list for a game. The original trophy list has to be possible (barring glitches) with the original version of the game, no DLC.
As covered, that is just a quirky way they decided to do those trophy lists. Usually when games contain more than one game there is a trophy list for each game separately. With that collection they instead decided to add the U4 list and then the LL list as "DLC" but every copy of the game can obtain them, no extras actually required.

Yes, they do. It's actually one of the standards they enforce on every publisher/developer out there: every game has to have trophies and all trophies should be obtainable through normal play, without the need of getting extra content to unlock them.
Your Uncharted example doesn't really stands. That release is a collection with all games and every player is capable of unlocking the separated trophy list (which would look like a DLC one) and the platinum with the standard copy.

ok guys, i‘m reading this thread since like 2 weeks and i really had to make an account now because some of you are very wrong.
I got almost 90 platinums, believe me, i know what i‘m talking about: Platinum NEVER requiers DLC trophys. NEVER!
The only trophys i know, that you couldn‘t get at the release, was the online trophies for RDR2 as the online mode came out e few months after release.
the next thing is: the scapes trophys are the exact same as in gt sport. PD does not waste a minute to think about trophys, they just copy+paste.
so (what a surprise) the cars will be the exact same as in gt6 and gt5!

Yeah I too was peeved at the scapes trophies being identical.
Just had a thought today guys.
Over the weekend I've been tidying up my trophies on GT7 (ps5) leaving just the final 2 left. Platinum and the three legendary cars.
Today I thought I'd load up GT7 on the ps4. Which only had 13 out of the 54 trophies unlocked.
And to no surprise they didn't autopop.
They didn't require much to pop (finish a race and I got 6 different ones)
But I still had to rebuy a pickup truck, electric car and a safety car. All separate. Buying a legendary car I got the r8 gordini which did unlock the 2 trophies and the 100 cars trophy.
But it got me thinking about this final trophy popping. If you're only on one console then no worries, bit for some of us who are after a double platinum.
We might need enough Money to buy a 4th car. Any of the 3 twice. As the requirements for the trophy will be met just not triggered.
I've also got to now find a way to get the finale trophy unlocked and the first menu trophy on ps4.
Just a thought as pd may never patch this and expect everyone to rebuy a car.

try the good old dark souls way: upload your savegame to the cloud. delete it on the console. start the game and do that 1st menu for the trophy, delete that new local savegame and download the old one from the cloud.
i think you‘re right with „rebuying a car“. but they‘re gonna add the possibility to sell cars, so i think it‘s not that tragic.

This does not work, saves are done in pds servers, not on console...
Go to the menu book archive and select the first menu book? It may pop, just similar to when all we had to do to get the CE bonus money, we just went and selected and exit and got the bonus...

They could have updated it with 3 cars that actually raced against each other, but instead, it's "Aw geez, not this **** again!"
