I think you will have no problems to carry it or go by public transport at all[/QUOTE hi i gather you have t300 iv had mine on pre order from amazon uk 4 last 3 weeks it did say available on 31st october now it says dispatched in 3-5 weeks bloody joke in my opinion well as i had my hooes up now feel dissapointed. Im just wondering if any 1 else is in same situation or know of a better qwicker way?? Any advice appreciated

Got email from Amazon UK today saying there has been an unexpected delay and estimated arrival date is between December 01 2014 - December 13 2014. I'm quite happy with that as I prefer to wait longer, closer to March the better for me. Hopefully Thrustmaster are using that extra time to sort out any manufacturing issues though and product has been delayed due to that than just for lack of quanitity.

Hello,.. Sim racers... need a little help, so yesterday my T300 showed up from amazon, I was so happy and have been waiting long time for it.. so got it all setup and so i started to install firmware update and following the setup from thrustmaster site. upon installing the update my power cut off.... so turned back on the pc and had to re-stall it again.. did that then tested it on iRacing it worked. so i had to install another program and some windows updates then had to restart my pc. after that i thought i was good to going racing, then back onto iracing and wheel didn't work at all and didn't even show on iracing or devices in my pc... so i tryed delete thrustmaster stuff and a complete re-stall... and NOPE...... so i tryed on PS and PS4 didn't recognize the t300.. so that is that..

Mark, for now not need to update the firmware of T300RS (already up to date with latest version V.23).
In your case (if your wheel is not longer recognized on PS3, PS4 or PC) you should tried the BOOTLOADER METHOD:

Important Remarks:
* On PC don't forget to put switch of T300 base on "PS3" Position
* On PS4 don't forget to press "PS" button on the wheel after the auto-calibration

I ordered T300RS from Amazon UK, received mine on Friday last week haven't got round to setting it up yet as it'll only be used on PS4 and I'm waiting for DriveClub to be working fully.

Hi mine is on order directly with a distributer as i work in an IT reseller. I got told last thing today the distie had received the stock on Monday but it hasn't been booked in to stock yet so obviously can't be shipped.
If amazon buy from this distributor their lead time might have changed due to this booking in problem. Amazon might order direct from thrustmaster for all i know however. Earliest I'll get it now is Friday or Monday.

Hi not sure what to advise you, as you can't buy direct through distribution like i can. Mine is effectively a staff purchase so i get it below cost too.
I would keep your pre order in place so you don't lose your place in the queue. Amazon might find the stock earlier than December. I don't know. But keep looking around. If dabs or indeed thrustmaster direct show stock just order with them asap and then once that order is processed cancel the amazon order.

To answer my own question: I have asked Thrustmaster about this. This is the reply I got:
The clamping mechanism supplied with the unit needs a minimum of 6 cm of space, under the surface to which the unit has been clamped.
You will need, in the beginning, some additional centimeters to fasten the wheel by hand.
When this is done you will get to the dimension specified (6 cm).

I sort of was expecting mine to be sent today going by ShopTo eBay in stock estimation and on my order status it shows as dispatching now from Amazon UK. Both ShopTo and Amazon seem to have got stock today for the T300 GTE and looks like Amazon UK might be getting more stock for the T300RS tomorrow so you might get it quicker than you think if who you bought it from also got stock at same time.

That's a shame about only working in sequential mode. I'm not sure I understand though, the TH8RS already has a usb connector so wouldn't I just plug that straight into the PS3?
That's not so important anyway (as I'm worried about PS4 functionality), so I assume I just plug the shifter straight into the PS4 and it's fine?

On another note, every time I let go of the wheel in Gt6, the uncontrollable oscillation starts. I've had a DFGT, G27, and a CSR, and now a T300. The T300 is by far the worst. Is this normal? I don't remember it at all with my CSR, and occasionally with my G27, much more with the DFGT...but still not as bad as the T300.
Do I need a firmware update? Is this just how the wheel is?
