I seem to have made some progress. I tried a restore to earlier date, the oldest date was only a few weeks ago but I gave it a go. It seems to have mostly mended the problem. I noticed it uninstalled some bits from GSCE and this problem seemed to arise when I installed GSCE so maybe something with that game was causing a conflict?

I'm not certain it's fully mended but it certainly feels a lot better and I can drive around. I did a couple hours in AC with several cars I'd driven recently and didn't notice any of the abnormal behavior.

What is a good stand for the t300 that isn't super expensive?
I can highly recommend Next Level Wheel stand. Its super heavy, super solid. No woble at all.

I was thinking about Wheel Stand pro (cons: it has center pole, no mounting option for shifter) and GT Omega (seems to be not so solid).

EDIT: you can attached the shifter to WSP but its in unnatural position

This review convinced me and I can not be more happy with my purchase

I will post a pic of my home made cockpit today or tomorrow, my cel phone has a ****** camera and I'll try to take on photo with my wife's cellphone(not a great camera but defenitly better thans mine).

That's a shame. I was hoping the T300 would be stronger than the DFGT in GT6. I'm sure it will be on PC sims but from what I've heard, it seems like it's not very strong on GT6.

It's mega strong on GT6 with the torque cranked up. Like, hurt your shoulders, afraid you're going to break your wheel/rig strong. 👍

I've heard bad things about Thrustmasters customer service before so this is definitely concerning.

Another reason why I'm really unhappy about the situation on PS4. They're forcing us to buy what is frankly the worst of the 3 big brands in my opinion (fanatec, logitech, thrustmaster)

So far it's looking like my problem was some kind of software issue and not related to the wheel itself, so no worries.

Also, I've had all three brands and so far I'm way happier with the T300 than I have been with the DFGT/G27 or Fanatec GT3 RS V2 (strange software issue aside). It's a marvelous product that makes the others look/feel like cheap toys, it takes a while for them to respond to support emails but the product itself is in a completely different league than the other wheels I've tried. While trouble-shooting my problem I hooked the GT3 RS up to see how it felt and the difference between it and the T300 is so drastic that I thought my GT3 RS was broken too, now I wonder how I ever drove with it at all.

I'm also planning on getting the DFGT back out soon, because I want to experience it AFTER the T300 RS. I guess the difference between the two will then jump at me more than on the day I got the Thrustmaster.

I wish I had seen that before I purchased my Wheel Stand Pro. Don't get me wrong, the WSP has been great so far, very stable, easy to adjust and priced very fairly, but I plan on adding the T3PA pedals as well as a TH8A shifter and it looks like the Next Level Wheel Stand would be a better option with the extra add ons. I'll be doing a little more digging for reviews but I think that will be my next sim racing related purchase.

I've been waiting almost a week to hear back from Thrustmaster about the issue with my T300, still haven't heard anything. Not too impressed with Thrustmaster at the moment, both of their products I own went defective within a week or two of owning them and they don't respond to emails other than "we've received your email and may respond at some point in the future".

Well that's all very reassuring since I am going to buy one this week most likely but I still feel the same about thrustmaster. Just for the Xbox and playstation compatibility alone I'd take a fanatec CSR over a T300rs but unfortunately, it doesn't work on PS4 or Xbone

Most likely once Fanatec makes a wheel that works on PS4, PC and Xbone I'm gonna sell the T300RS for it. I'd hate to need 2 wheels if I ever get my own Xbone since I will be playing Forza Horizon 2 (or maybe 3 and 4 by the time fanatec finally makes one) with it. I'd downgrade just to have a wheel that works with everything.

I haven't measured the clamp yet but does it look like the T3PA pedals won't fit the non deluxe WSP?:nervous:

I suppose I have the deluxe version then because I made sure that the one I bought would allow both the T3PA as well as TH8A to be secured to the stand. I plan on purchasing the Pagnian Next Level Racing Wheel Stand anyway so I don't suppose it is a huge deal if the pedals don't fit on my WSP.

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't gone through this entire thread yet, but for my Logitech DFGT, I have the wheelstandpro. It works well, but I need to know of the TS300 wheel/base will bolt onto the plate of my current wheelstandpro. Saves me the trouble of buying another one...

I'm 99% sure it will bolt onto the stand (sure I've read that somewhere down the line:crazy:) I eventually plan to drill through an extended piece of robust wood in order to fix the shifter. Then bolt/clamp both to that.:boggled: The issue remains with the aftermarket pedals as I don't think the clamp with the non deluxe WSP fitted the G27 pedals, which I assume are similar in size could be wrong though.:dopey:

Quick question - can a G27 gear shifter be used with a T300rs wheel on Playstation ? (not computer)

I've got a rig and aquired this shifter so I have a place for it to fit, and was intrigued to see if it would work, I've searched the web but it seems a lot of the adapters on the market are for PC only

I've looked through here best I could and didn't see an answer to this. Any thoughts? If I recall, it has a similar connector to the pedals. So I wonder whether those pedal adaptors will work for the shifter? Can anyone try? haha.

My T300 arrived today but it doesn't fit on my wheelstandpro, i have the older one with the thinner wheel plate on top for the G25, the clamp that comes with the T300 is too big, is there anyway to mod it to make it fit

Quick scenario. If I have a G27 in perfectly good working order, had no plans on getting a PS4, and found a T300rs for $400 dollars and could just use my G27 pedals with it, would you guys say it would be worth it?

There are no bolt holes, the plate is just smooth.

Interesting! Mine has pre-drilled holes. I think those should work... but the plate is kinda narrow.

New member here so just posting to say I have recently bought a GT Omega wheelstand and the T300 ready for Project Cars on my PS4. Currently learning/practising on Driveclub as its my first wheel (kind of, I tried the T80 before immediately upgrading for ffb) and happy with both bits of kit so far. :)

Yeah thats the same size plate i have but minus the holes, maybe i can drill some hmmm

On another note i have noticed that the USB lead that goes into to wheel base is kind of loose, is anyone else's like that or is is broken

The USB lead doesn't actually plug into anything at the base shell, it's just a cable going through into the electronics deeper inside the T300 body. Yes, it's a bit loose, presumably by design. I don't think that is an issue.

A quick question for other t300 owner's, I noticed after about a hour and half of racing on GT6 with torque and FFB set at 7 each that my wheel suddenly felt limp when turning. It was really prominent at the point you would expect the wheel to fight back at the apex and instead made it feel like the car was under-steering quite badly were as a few laps before it turned in as expected.
I did notice the fans going so I am assuming it was pretty warm inside the steering box, so is there some kind of self protection built into the steering hardware?
The wheel does calibrate on start up and again when loading up the game, I checked this to see this still worked, I turned down the torque and the FFB by a couple of notches but I have to say I do prefer the stronger settings. Anyone else had this sort of issue? Not on PC just PS3/4.

T3PA Pedals arrived yesterday and 1st thing I noticed after unboxing them was they are huge, I offered them up to my A1GP Playseat ( 1st edition I think ) and the mounting holes did not line up at all so needed to pull out the drill and get to work making 2 new ones... once that was done they fitted up pretty much perfectly :)
...
That is the same variant of the Playseat that I have. Did the wheelbase fit the hard mount holes on it, or did you have to drill those too?

Yesterday i played fo more than 4-5 hours GT6 on my T300 with the FFB set on 6 and the wheel was OK. The fan turned on the wheel base was pretty hot, but everything worked fine. What can be happening is that i set my wheel to rotate 900º, but when i start GT6 it sets to rotate 270º or something.

So it's happening to you and this "limp point" that you're feeling is the point you passed the max angle pre-defined on the game of wheel's rotation. Everytime i starded GT6 i had to put 900º of rotation ON the game.

Hi mate ,

The T300 wheel base fits perfectly on the base of the playseat , Pretty sure it shares the same bolt pattern as the G25/7 so was a very easy swap over no drilling required. As mentioned previously the standard T300 2 pedal set also fits but in a less than perfect position. Holes need drilling on the older playseat to mount the T3PA pedals but doesn't take long to measure and drill :D
