I doubt that it'll really make you any faster ,could be wrong though, feel free to prove me wrong ;)
To be honest, you can quite easily make it slide 'round the corner without the handbrake :D
yes, I meant to leave the curve faster .. good times ... TWISSY and ESCAMA .. Brakes at 6-3 .. I have to try some...👍

Just tried the e-brake technique and ended up against the wall  I can't get it to work without losing too much time. And I'm running a 7-3 BB right now, seems to work better than the default 5-5
But this is a very fun TT, I might end up liking the London course :D Got to a 01:06.258 right now but there is still time to be gained in the 3 corner and the final 3 ones so I'm hoping to get into the 1:05's in the end at the very least :D

Well, the time trial at London certainly gives a new meaning to the term 'hitting the apex'...

I, for once, love this mazda/london tt. There is something about the car and track that have clicked with me, and I am on my way to a best ever online result ( currently 415). I think that PD should continue these fun car and tight track events. Of course, everyone has their own favourites, but things like the current x2010 tt plagued by 0:00:000 times and the previous fgt monaco one sort of take the fun out of it.

Only complaint (yes there is always one, Mr Highlander), PD should of made it more strict about bouncing off walls and having 4 wheels of the black stuff. Guilty of having 4 wheels on top of curb, but not bouncing off walls so am losing lots of speed in / out....just promoting 2 really bad habits :(.

Managed a 104.403 but still 2-3 tenths to make up on current form. Might crack the 103 barrier by the end of it if I can nail the exit on that final corner! Using BB 6/3 and I'm quicker without active steering for a change :D

It's funny the amount of people that say this! I think the only game where you can gain time by hitting the walls is F1!

Yeah, I don't know why people keep saying that you're gaining time by hitting the walls. In the Mazda TT I hit the wall on the exit by running too wide out of the corner and my ghost just went past me.
At times I thought I was very close to the wall ( in cockpit view ) but when I watched my replay from the hoodcam I noticed I was far from hitting the wall

You've got to be careful though, the walls seem to stick out further than they appear to be, no idea why :(

You do realise hitting the walls makes you slower...

Not from what I saw. After turn 1, you can skim / kiss the barrier and still get a good T1 time if you get a great drive out and same goes for the entire T2 portion and not trigger a red lap. T3 is a different story for me...some kisses dont and some do at the straight before the last turn. Rather not hit anything to be honest.

Just saying that it should be more strict, but then again there is not much room on this round. Tossed up feelings on the regulations. But it is fun 👍

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate London? :irked: Any track like that with no real flow and just tight 90 degree bends I'm always inexplicably slow(er).

For example I'm only losing 2-3 tenths on Twissy's time by split 2 with my best splits, but then I lose over half a second in the last sector (the bit filled with 90 degree sharp corners).

Currently sat a 1:04.1xx which I'm far from happy with. Should be down to a 1:03.7 soon. And hopefully I'll be able to find a few tenths that I'm losing in sector 3. :indiff:

Yeah, I noticed this a while back, I think it's a small glitch in the game, when it appears you are missing a wall you actually just hit it, pretty annoying tbh :grumpy:

I don't think it should me more strict, do you realise how frustrating it would be then? It's hard enough missing all the walls anyway when you're driving on the limit! :yuck:

Well there's a difference between skimming the wall and getting away with it, and hitting the wall to gain time. I mean even F1 drivers skim walls occasionally and get away with it, it's going to happen with the really fast drivers around a tight track, and I don't see why they should lose their lap.

Wow...what a bunch of masterbators. Those guys at the top would probably walk around with their genitals in their hands if someone told them it was cool. I'd be embarrassed posting something like that. Trouble is they're not doing anything illegal right? (Is it a PD glitch or a savegame hack?). Hope PD make GT6 a bit more watertight.

I'm assuming you mean the guys at the top of the X2010 TT  And from looking at the replays, they park across the line which glitches them a time or something.

Thanks for that info/confirmation, it happens really often at the exit of turn 1, very annoying...

Currently at 1:4.0, able to see :3.high, but for now i'm losing a lot at sector 3...

Well yes, but it would fit a lot of scenarios actually...the G8 meeting, the British government, FIFA...I think I'd better stop now.

banditkarter! I wrote that it saves time leaning on the wall because it's what I've seen comparing sectors, not much point in going and would not write this if not sure degas.

in any competition you can touch the wall, just like with the karts if you go to an indoor karting as I do and hit a "wall" will lose safe time,

this is a game and I see sectors and assure that you earn one tenth without leaving the accelerator and supporting you! if you do it in a perfect way!

1'03.6 is all I can do for now. Can see another .2 but that'll be my limit if I run again.

Fun combo. 👍

Just had a quick 10 laps, 1:03.7xx I've been alot faster in all sectors though, and seems rather fun this combo :D! I might push with this one as it does seem rather nice :D!

Tried the LeMans TT yesterday for an hour and had to to shut off the system before I threw something. One little bit on curb and disqualified. I never managed a full lap because of that. Also had to avoid of cockpit view because it was becoming difficult for my eyes to handle that rough straight. I might try again later, but I agree with others here in that they should've used a more realistic, fitting car for the track

Hood view on the straightaway was awful. So much shaking.

I use the cockpit view for this. I usually use the bumper view for racing, but it is too close to the ground for me to be going this fast
