After some adjustments to my setup I some how managed to get a 1:52.148 got a great few laps in mid 52s then hooked a beauty up surprisingly not taking too much out of the chicane at least two wheels on the rumble strips
Cars back on share for any one who wants to give it a run out

I try it tomorrow

Actually it's quite easy. Click on community, click on a friend, click on log.

You're right Waukazoo, gave it a try. Who knows what else there is one can do that I don't know about.
And soon GT6 will be here.

And then we will all have new things to learn/figure out. 👍 I for one, can't wait. We are all going to have to learn the new physics also, so we will all be a bunch of noobs again.

Thanks to CargoRatt I was able to move up to 1:54.545 👍

...sat Down and had time for just a few laps (did 5) .. The second lap was the quickest but the three following were knocking on the door .. So lookin forward to the next session!

Thanks again CargoRatt for the use of your car 👍

No problem Dan. Glad to see you improve. 👍

My first time doing this time trial was a slow time of 2:06.498 in a Lamborghini 09. It looks like I need it bit more work to do.

My pink Gallardo shared if anyone wants to try

1.53.165 .....210 place (ds3-buttons-tc 5-abs 10-sensitivity 0)

Have a nice day

Had a 1.53.989 this morning .7 of a second improvement then as i crossed the line noticed invalidated lap. Done it once means i can do it again.
Many thanks to my friend waukazoo for all your invaluable help.

Great time mate gotta say your gear box is spot on for this TT took my lambo to another level
Also I've noticed if you have a 50/50 torque split for first chicane then adjust it to 40/60 for the second chicane throu to ascari then to 30/70 for parabolica it gives a much better turn in I've been hitting consistant 52s using this driving style

Many thanks for the loan managed to get 2 tenths off today.
First decrease in time for ages.👍

Dropped to a 1.51.935 now, just a few tiny changes that have made a big difference! Lots of people improving in this tt which is brilliant to see, keep it up fellas!

I tried your car last night, Mitch, but found it didn't suit my driving style. I'm using a bastardised Praiano tune & it's great for me. I'll put the car on share later if you wanna give it a go...

Cheers

Jay

Nice time! As for me, I've gotten bored with Monza and I'm not running it anymore. I'm pretty happy with my time anyways. :)

Thanks doodle, no way I'm catching your crazy skills though! I'm getting a bit bored if Mona too, be good if the tts were 1 week instead of two IMO.

Dropped a bit more to a 1:54.730, still working on new lines to cut the corners.

I noticed most people are running ABS = 1, with some running it at 10. I know it is probably related to driving style, but could be an advantage of running ABS at 10?

Hi Doodle, how much faster are you because of setup of the car? If you would just set the gearbox to 320 KM/H and no other changes to the car. How much slower would you be than you current fast time? 1 second?

Most believe that you have a magical setup making you crazy fast. I think that a good setup makes slow guys gain more than it would fast guys.

That's another 2 tenths I need to find but great lap mate

Nice one Stewy, .7 that's a huge gain. Do it again clean. Morning runs are the best.👍

Cargoratt thanks for sharing your car, im only 1 second behind you...(and thats really close for me...)

Your welcome my friend, glad I could help. I gave up doing this TT for reasons stated in an earlier post. I could easily cut another .500-.700 off my time by blatantly cutting the chicanes, but I refuse to play like that so I just quit doing this particular TT and went back to doing this weeks WRS TT. Hopefully the next TT will have a better penalty system where it is not advantageous for you to cut an entire chicane. I just don't agree with PD's boundaries on this one.

Took a few days off and improved by 4 thousands of a second to 1:53.443. Sad yet an improvement, may try Skyline and Suba's cars on share if available.

Just doesn't feel right cutting those chicanes so much. I'm cutting them like most, just seems like a bad habit forming.

Like everyone else, looking forward to GT6, online races are hard to find nowadays.

Improved to 1:57:067, ranking is now 2558.

The trick is to get the braking perfect, with the turn ins.

Was seeing where I could tune the setup as the timings are so close.

I just fitted a part & I managed a time of 1:56:023 (1777th), which was a second's gain.

I installed the Torque Distributing Centre Differential under Drivetrain.

Has any one of my fellow GT Lovers / Friends / Competitors installed this? Am sure most of You must've. I set the settings at 50-50 for the torque distribution & I got immense grip when making through the slow chicane in the first corner. Ofcourse I did cut the corners a bit better but this part that I installed gave even better traction through the corners.

Not saying every one may improve by a second but this could get a better result.

Also noticed that if the racing filter is installed at the expense of limiting the power, then it's worth as the acceleration through the 6th gear is better. Had the standard filter & was at 550. After selecting the racing filter, the PP went up to 554. So I delimited my engine power.

Hence, the installation of the Torque differential & the racing filter, helped me improve my time quite a lot.

Maybe that's the fun of trying different tunes, doing some R & D & sharing unes amongst us loyal GT fans.:gtpflag:

Yes, alot of great times being put up. And as I have learned more than ever from Cargo .. gearing is key!

Great advice for the torque split. Are these ontrack adjustments? ...possible w/ the wheel? ...DS3?

Once I set it to 50-50, I was happy with it. Even though I could make the change on-track, I didn't as was happy with the setting.

I use the DS3 controller.

Thanks for your gear ratios. More than speed or traction, the gearing plays a bigger role for optimum lap times.

Yeah mate if you set you ds3 up with the R/A menu in button configuration screen you can adjust BB and torque split mid lap it's bit wierd and trick at first but as you can see from my lap times dropping it work a treat also accepted the FR from you

Yeah Dan but do remember that if the Torgue Differential is not installed or selected for your car, the on-track setting for the Torque split will be greyed out.

So do remember to install it before your run.

Yeah, thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't run with out it. But, at least now I know I don't have to sacrifice elsewhere to gain at 1st chicane.

I run 50/50 split for the first corner only then 40/60 for sectors two and three until 30/70 for the last corner.
