Maybe!

...

Thanks! ...sent u a friend req to maybe try out your hot rod .. If there b room.

I'm right at 100, but I just deleted someone who hasn't logged in for awhile, so go ahead and send it now and I'll accept it. 👍

Can some one post a video of one of their hot laps?

Oink's video is surely good but since I have put a faster time, was hoping if some one could post a video of a lap faster than Oink's.

Ofcourse the screenshot on the first page did help but nothing can be a better tutorial than a video.

...sent u another, Thanks again!👍

Just accepted it. The first one didn't go through because I was at the limit. Made room for you though. Good luck with the car, hope it helps you out. 👍

Thanks a ton! ...lookin' forward to it! 👍

Another session this morning but no improvement on my time. (1.54.604)
Shall be having another go later, both lambos are on share if antone wants to try.
A half decent driver will beat my time easily (using controller since my wheel broke)
See you all later
stewy :gtpflag::)👍:)

I have some cars on share and my Gallardo was on share the other day.

What I am wondering is if there is some way of seeing if anyone, or who, tried it? Or do we never know if our cars are borrowed?

Look through your friends' logs, it'll say "Borrowed dlone47's Lamborghini Gallardo [specific model]". It's time consuming, but the only way to find out apart from just asking everyone.

Thanks for that. Not sure I know how to do it but it sounds like it would be a pain in the backside anyway.

Played online this arvo with my 9 and 10 year olds, 2 TV's and Playstations.

I won one and my 10 yr old won another with me second, using a car I had never driven before, my 9 yr olds.

Have waited a long time for that to happen, awesome.
Was going to fire up tonight but am watching 'Training Day' on TV instead.

Actually it's quite easy. Click on community, click on a friend, click on log.

Struggling to get an improvement now on my best time 1.52 something. Tried a few things with tuning but keep reverting back to the same blueprint, lower weight and power. I found that higher weight and power of course gives a higher top speed but this is then lost in braking earlier but most of all in corners i just can't get the power down consistently. Having another go in the wasp (gallardo is yellow and black) later after some pizza and a few beers!

p.s never drink and drive!

Same for me tried adding weight upping power but I just suffer in the brake zones adding a extra 20 meters to counteract the added weight.
Keep going back to the low weight 506. Bhp settings got the suspension sorted and gear box dialed in and doing high 52s most laps trying to adjust torque split mid lap to see if that helps
Keep going thou your only 0.022 behind me keep expecting that to change every time I switch ps3 on

Thanks NowControl for sharing you car, I borrowed you grey car, and within 15 minutes, was able to drop > 1 second, now 1:55.045. Now I need to learn to cut the corners better, and continue to practice. I have your tune on my car now, thanks again for sharing. :)

Finally bettered my lap, have somehow got a 1.52.203 out the bag!! Pretty happy right now!! If I can improve by a decent amount I'm sure you can too :)

1:52's that's awesome - Keep pushin' guys!!

I would imagine the clicks off the clock your lookin' for is in just easin back a bit and perfecting that line .. Do some reps not focusing on beating the ghost. Get the rhythm perfected then step it up little by little...it's in the blueprint!

Just some friendly advice .. I know I'm a couple seconds behind .. But that is my strategy and it's helped thus far for me. Surpassed my original expectation of 1:57.5 by chillin' .. Not rushing it and not tryin to make a gain every time out.

Definetly chillin' tonight .. Have spent a ton of time just searching for the right color for the wheels on my new ride  ...hey, looks inspire :)

...

...anywho, best to all!! 👍

......

Edit/Update: >> little at a time, I'll take it >> 1:54.814

...

Great Thanks to Cargoratt for the use of his hot rod last night! ...it was so late I only made a few laps w it but enjoyed the drive and the comparison! ...was able to get with in a few tenths of the ghost w it. I look forward to takin it for a spin a bit later .. just not ready to learn a new car on a Monday. It's always great to be able to compare and see what others are using 👍

Thanks to wauk-azoo for the tunes, quicker than yesterday but not up to my best time but that is down to the driver not the tune.
Cant wait to get my new wheel, hate the controller nearly threw it out the window this morning.
Good luck to you all, some impressive times out there.

Wow that's a massive 4 tenths quicker than me you really thrown down a challenge this battle we have going is heating up think I'm gonna have to pull the dfgt out of its box and put to use to beat that time great lap mate you must have nailed the chicanes

Well done, and you are very welcome for the use of my car/tune. I am pleased it has helped you to improve on your pace/time, keep at it, no doubt you will get faster and again improve on your time. 👍

Yes, I know there is more time by cutting corners, and I am happy with my slow but steady progress. I did notice on my car I had TC = 5, so it is now 0, and i think the cars front end may be too stiff when crossing the curbing, I can fell the loss of traction in the wheel. I may try softening up the front, or raising ride heights after work to see if it helps.

Thx for sharing car to skyline1683
1:52:9** for now
I think 1:52.4-5 is possible

Not a problem mate it still needs some fine tuneing to get it to the 51s gonna try that tonight with some LSD and torque settings struggling on exit of chicanes but any use of TC kills the power delivery will post up the results of it later if all else fails I have to resort to using my steering wheel much to my disliking

Did anyone saw the first guy on the leaderboards? He got a 00.53.** secs using a Brera Sky Window.CRAZY!!!!!

ps;I got 32430-ish now on the leaderboards using a Murcielago.

I think we've all wanted to throw the controler many times.:irked:
You will be right back in the mix once you get a wheel back in your hands.👍

I think I'm pretty much done with this one after I seen what I was able to do last night. Completely cut two of the chicanes, all 4 wheels in the green without the lap going red. To me, because of the lenient penalties, this is nothing more than who can cut the corners more skillfully. Now I know, if the lap doesn't turn Red, then its legal. But, when they let you cut the corners that much, then it simply isn't for me. I am used to running to the WRS rules and to me, this TT goes against my clean driving habits that I have developed. In my opinion, anything other than the Red and White rumbles in those areas should be out-of-bounds. That's the way it is in the WRS and that is the way I prefer to run. Therefore, there is no way for me to be competitive in this TT, thus eliminating any fun in competition for me.

Now, having said all that, I just want to say that I am not accusing anyone here of cheating or dirty driving because of the ability to cut corners. You all are perfectly well within the rules according to PD's penalty system and I have nothing but the utmost respect for everyone here. You all are just taking what PD has giving you and that is perfectly fine. My problem lies with the penalty system, not with anyone here. I just want to make that clear to everyone.

In closing, I would just like to say that it was a blast running with you guys and look forward to running future TT's with you guys. My time on the board is a clean lap according to the WRS so I will just let it stand as such as I don't think I can pick up much more time without blatantly cutting the chicanes. So, good luck to everyone here still running and trying to improve. We'll see what the next TT brings.

PS. Car is back on share if anyone wishes to use it. Peace.

After some adjustments to my setup I some how managed to get a 1:52.148 got a great few laps in mid 52s then hooked a beauty up surprisingly not taking too much out of the chicane at least two wheels on the rumble strips
Cars back on share for any one who wants to give it a run out
