What do you use for the capture? It went OOF at one point but that may be a Youtube thing. Is it an Elgato?
Must be a youtube issue, it was smooth all the way through when I watched it back. But yep I use a Elgato.

Hi! I tried the Megane Renault Sport '08. It's quite interesting car for Suzuka 450PP. I tried at stock 450PP, 260BHP/6000rpm, 1166kg. I got 2:30's! I searched tunes, but couldn't find. It could be worth to give it a try? I'll be most greatful. if someone got a good tune and be kind enough to share it?

Started around the 2,000 mark (2:31) today using the '08, so tried pmjg's loaner '04 but just couldn't put a clean lap together so bought a couple of '04's, one to put 3rd stage engine upgrade on and the other to use high end turbo.
Started with the turbo and am still on it, 2:28.646 (1/10th behind Cargo) at pos# 251.
Used some of Oinks RM Golf tune, plus my own fiddling of course.
Used my own gears, pretty hard left for the first 4 and final at 3862 for 238km/h up top. What a difference the gearing made compared to the stock settings.
Any definitive answer whether engine upgrade or high turbo is best?

I was chasing bronze in a Mini Marcos, can take the corners like the faster cars, but just not enough power. Great fun though, love the Marcos.

Got a 2:34 something in an Aventime. Quite fast but a bit lardy. A better tune and or less weight/less power might help.

I just used the Mitsubishi eclipse gt 06. I was able to get 1:28 with stock suspension, and a oil change / and chip. I think it's the go to car, rather than the Honda.

Tried mine with a supercharger, and a downgrade in power - this car definitely has potential. You obviously meant 2:28. The Atenza Sports handles well, too.

Dreams of Suzuka:
Turn, turn, turn! 🤬 !!

A base tune I made for this fun little car, good for gold.

If anyone need this car, I can put one on share :) Lift off the throttle to rotate the car instead of dabbing the brake on the first half of the lap, modulate throttle on longer curve to control the nose from going wide, this car is very fun to drive, nimble and pretty quick around the bend.

Thanks for the tune Ridox, I'll give that Suzuki a shot. I had been testing it for a racing series but we use stock cars so this will be a nice comparison.

Anyone think the Spoon Civic with a little ballast or power limiter might be decent? It is very underrated in stock form for its low power to weight ratio, likely due to having low torque numbers.

After about an hour yesterday of just getting my feet wet in this one, ended up at 2'28.536 with a lot of time left out there to be had. Haven't done a lot of testing so all I can tell you about the setup that I'm using is the following.

271 HP
1165 KG.
4.23 kg/HP

Window Weight Red.
Carbon Hood
No Ballast adjustment
ECU Tuning
Sports Intake
Racing Air Filter
Sports Exhaust Man.
Cat. Conv. Sports
Titanium Racing Exhaust
No Turbo

Still messing with the actual setup of the car. Like Dalone, I too have bought multiple cars to try the various engine upgrades, weight red., ect. Will post if I find something faster. Good luck guys. 👍

There are some cars that could have more than 270HP with less than 1180kg and decent weight distribution ( somewhere around 58/42 to 50/50 ), I would suggest these cars :

Nissan Primera ( old and new ), Honda Integra DC2 ( 95 and 98 ) - high mile should be better, Toyota Celica SSII ST202 '98 and Celica '99, Civic EG SIR ( all years ), Focus RS, Alfa hatches, Eagle Talon ESI :D

Thanks Rido for the heads up. The Toyota Celica SSII ST202 '98 was a good car for me back in the day, have to give it a try again.

It is going to be a busy weekend. :)

Heres my setup for INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) '04. Currently 2.24.7 and still more time left on the track.

EDIT. Use the other set up On page 3

Focus RS'02 appears to have the highest power to weight ratio of all FF road cars (stock)

I tried the Eclipse gt 06. It has very bad power to weight ratio, It's fast in corners but slightly slower on the straights so I think it can't be as fast as Integra. I did 2,26,1 with Integra and the Eclipse is exactly one second slower in my case.

Heres my setup it looks crazy, but it is allright. Currently 2.24.7 and still more time left on the track.

15.0, 3.0

Camber N' Toe 2.4, 0.5 _ 0.00, -0.50

LSD

BB 6, 5
Ballast weight reduction 3, ballast 183, -50kg (so ballast is 67front 33 back)

For what car is this? Also is this tune turbo or NA? Thanks! 👍

I forgot to mention that I use soft on the front, and med on the rear. That way I can slide around corners...... And it's more fun :)

Dropped in a 2:27.412 for first session back on TT after recovering my friends list left list of time in hair pin (cautious on entry with brakes) 130r I messed up completely on the exit should have been a red lap had whole car sideways somehow saved it and lost 0.5 on entry and exit of last chicane 25s think should be possible

Dang, great start... My first run is a mid 2:28.xxx. Agree with losing so much time in 130r and a messy last chicane. Happy with sector one and two.

Found interesting stuff while testing lots of FF cars :) Looks like putting ballast at the front actually increase PP - there are benefits of this too, better traction on exits and straight line pull - particularly from low gear/speed. Better stability mid corner and entry, but the downside is the driver has to be skillful in managing weight transfer and avoid excessive weight moved to the front while entering a corner. A good LSD and suspension setup would help greatly to balance the car handling. This front heavy setup works well on lightweight FF cars that lacks traction on lower gear/speed :)

Tested on the Suzuki Concept S2 tune posted above, with -50 ballast position, and updated LSD :) I liked the car even more.

What car are you using Cargo?? I might have missed it along the thread

Thanks mate il put car up on share when I done for the day if you want to have a crack with it.
First sector I can really nail and can stay within 0.4 of cb ghost but I'm losing lots on hairpin,spoon,130r seems to just carry so much more speed and stability in to them

Well, my 2nd lap was 2.27.881, uh yeah - really, 2nd lap :D and I cant beat that now...wth. Im having alot of trouble finding the right gears, anyone willing to give gearbox-setup for Integra!!! Im using autogears and DS3. Though my fastest lap was kinda bad, improvement is definetly on its way, im sure i can beat 2.27. Hardest turns for me: 11+13+14+15+16, i just cant find the right breaking point and wheels just keep spinning and spinning when i accel...huge time loss...
