Another few good cars to consider: Honda Accord Euro R(both use Integra Type R Engine)

Pug 206 RC(This in theory should be very fast as it fits the high powered N/A Rule for PP).

Toyota RunX(Celica Engine)

Correcting this. The Accord Euro R runs with F20B / H22A engine. Unlike with the DC5 which runs on the K20A engine. HTH.

I noticed you 2 always dont get along @GTP_CargoRatt @Dalone LOL :lol::lol::lol:

Yea, well, its not from a lack of trying on my part. But anyway, it is what it is and its just as well that we just stay out of each others way here and just try to co-exist as best we can.

And dalone, I'll just ignore your last comment as if I didn't see it.

That sounds like a oxymoron?

In any case I tried Ridox loaner but was unable to get in front of my own Cb/Ridox geared car. Way different tune. Used different weight/hp to no avail.

Are there any other tunes here that I may have forgotten about, or are as yet still unpublished? I'm sure I'm not the only one here looking for a leg up.

Is it the Integra ? I did some changes to it, the gearing is still the same I think, only made some changes to suspension - did you change the brake balance ? If using ABS, you should use rear bias brake - 0/10 or 2/10

I think I may also have altered the gearing a little, not sure. Spent too much time tuning, messing and testing than doing the time trial  I did only 5 or 6 laps with Integra on the TT when I got the 2:27 time.

I only did about 6 or 8 laps Ridox with your Integra the best of which was 2:27.2, 3/10's above my own best. I did change the BB, to 2 - 9 I think, and the gearing seemed about the same as on my car.
I'm looking for a tune to get me into the low (lower) 2:26's, down into rodent territory.

The car can do 1:04.xxx 1st sector - I did it once, but ruin the lap as I went wide on 130R :( So, it should be able to get into 2:24s, is the car too twitchy ? or runs wide on exit ? Try to put CB's spring, damper and anti roll bar setup.

Likely just my ability Ridox, but I can't see me gaining 2 sec's with it, no way in the world. Didn't notice too much I didn't like but I felt Cb's was better, albeit, there again I have to remove weight and therefore hp to suit me.
Anyway, gotta run, work to do, dogs to feed and kids to organise. Later mate.

Better work on your driving skill first before continually asking for some magical tune to try and catch me. :sly: You seem to think that there is some end-all-be-all tune out there that will be the answer to your problems when in fact, it is more about skill than the tune.

I know I said I was going to try and ignore you, but with your sly rodent comment, I felt compelled to respond.

Yep, have stated many times here that it is mostly down to driving skill rather than the tune. Having said that l know how important the tune can be here, just look at the hullabaloo concerning who shares tunes and who doesn't. Some think their tunes are so good (read quick) that they get very upset if the rest learn of them. But that's enough of that.

My #1 tune with the high stage turbo was not nearly as quick as my #2 one with Cb's 3rd stage engine upgrade, to the tune of around 2 seconds. Clearly the tune is very important however I had access to the tunes briefly posted last TT and I still had to remove most of the weight to even get near my then best.

I am not asking for 'that magical tune' as you claim though, just tunes others have found successful in getting better times than myself.

Not that you should talk, having downloaded top drivers tunes without their permission.........nuff said.

But fair dinkum, anyone who calls themselves CargoRatt here should expect the occasional rodent comment.
Perhaps l should have added a smiley face to it, then it would have been OK, aye mate.

Fair enough. Sorry, no witty comeback this time as I'm sure others are not amused by our sparring. Good luck to you the rest of the way there Mick...err I mean dalone. (Sorry, that's the best I got right now with my small reference to one of my favorite movies, Crocodile Dundee)

Funny you should mention that, about Mick. Fact is I worked with Paul Hogan on the first two movies, my real name is in the credits, so you can thank me in a small way for the enjoyment you receive when you next watch, 'one of your favourite movies', known in my house as, Croc of Old Dundee.

That's cool, must have been a great experience. I did notice your town of Darwin was mentioned in the first movie. ( Town where the lady flew into before taking off to her final destination to where Mick was.)

Just had another hour after work on the tune and the car feels really good now. Gearing is better, it's adjustable and allows trail braking without understeering (very sideways through turn 1 :D)... and it's epic though Spoon.

I thought it was perfect, but when watching my replay the outside tyre is smoking everywhere (including in 4th gear all the way through Dunlop), so looks like it might be a bit faster with a slightly softer diff.

Down to a 2'24.318 for 21st, off a rubbish 1'04.035 T1 and a poor Hairpin exit... reckon this will run 23's even with me at the wheel :D

Now have rear toe at -1.00 and front toe at -0.10.

i`m break it ! catch 1'03.940, do excellent hairpin exit and make fail on braking in Spoon =(
1:24:600@36th for now with two big errors and not good exit on last chicane

Yes, you should be in the low 24's off a 1'03 T1 👍

Spoon is interesting... for me it's faster if I brake early and softly, turn in early and carry more speed through the apex. This approach is also more consistent/less risky.

The Hairpin and Casio are a pain... for both, brake slightly too late and you ruin the corner, brake too early and you lose loads of time... frustrating

I logged in last night for a try at getting my goal of a 2:24 lap. I did a 2:25.007 after a few laps and knew I was going to get it within a few more.
My puppy had other plans though as he decided he was going to make every noise possible to distract me.
Even putting him on the pool deck didn't help, he would just kept jumping into the sliding glass door.
There's something about the sound of this car that makes him go crazy. The vacuum cleaner doesn't even bother him like this car does.

I'm either going to have to find a way to get the headset to fit comfortably on my head (PX21's are to big and fall off when I lean, lol)
or I'm going to have to feed him a big steak laced with melatonin if I want to get into the 24's.

How about putting the headset on the dog and playing him some nice soothing music? Congratulations on a great time by the way.

Yes, You have done a great time, especially considering you are using auto gears. I'm interested to know why your replay can't be downloaded though ?

We've also got a dog in our family, but I've been married to her for 24 years.........

(english humour, sorry )

Excuse me,but i have one question what is better ?
I always buy a new car from dealership, than change oil and drive 300km and change again
but is it better to no change oil and drive to death, or when change oil
i need power for my Integra
thanks for answers

Has anybody followed a ghost which is about a second in front, you think to yourself, that's not too far ahead, but when you are ahead of the ghost, and you look in the mirror, they seem like miles behind, but when you go over the line........you are only a couple of tenths up.......:banghead:

I've got to go, the dogs calling.

Been away getting everyone sorted with their Christmas Trees an havent been on to improve my time.

I know am capable of 2:23 ive been up a tenth even 2 tenths on my ghost more than once entering 130R, Only thing is with my tweak on setup i find turn in on late heavy braking very hard, but i will persevere with this tommorow, in the meantime good luck on improving people.
