Still can’t break the 1.52 Wall optimal was 1.51.7xx but at leat it was some improvement from 1.52.5xx to 1.52.2xx at my final session …so I’m happy and call it a day 🫡

Ready for the next one …my guess (hope) is the classic Honda race car in the valley
I did not drive until the servers were offline this morning so i thought what the heck, i'll do a JasonMcDonald and yeeet it throuh the canyons of Grand Valley...

What a blast, it's actually a realy fun car to drive, didn't do anything to it, just bone stock, no setup and slide it to the apex while braking corner after corner

So i'm with you @JasonMcDonald ....... lets Time trial this!

Hi,

I have thrown the towel in! My nerves are shot through. No more for me on this one.....

1:51:079. I hope that holds out for a top 1,000. Currently No: 800.

Best regards to all here.

Ian.
lol you are in the same position as me, trying to 50 it , but i'm proud because i'm waaaaaay faster with my 1.51.037 :lol::lol:
But seriously, great time Ian, I KNOW howmany miles it can take

Ok guys last night, let's make few more laps and see if we can improve our lap times. I almost had it, delta was -0.400 before bus stop and then bus stop ate all advantage... But we all have been there and know how it feels.

Ugh! The top time has improved dramatically and pushed me over 1% off, i thought I was safe! Had a very frustrating session this evening, quite a few laps in the 1:50s but never quite tying it all together 😤 I might have one more to but this might have to be the one that got away

I'm frustrated. I check this morning and I was still in the top 3%. At that point I presumed I was good for this one as it took me 5 hours the other night to get there.. Well I just happened to check again and Sirvia shifted the fastest time and now 3.09%. Argh!

I don't care about the money, I could have grinded like 20m cr in the time I spent on this but I want that gold cup. Now I guess I will be at it again tonight before the end...

These top guys need to go out and get laid. Seriously, step away from the game and go do something else with your life. Stop trying to go lower.

I'm done with this time trial. 1:52.340. Good enough for a gold at the time of this posting. To call this car AWD should be criminal in this game. I've driven RWD cars, on worse tires, in the wet that have more traction than this car.

Are you suggesting that being the number 1 Time Trialer in GT7 won’t automatically get me laid?

I might have to reconsider some life choices…

That was a chore. This car and track was horrible. After discovering 4pm that my top 3% had slipped to Silver I just spent another 4 hours this evening trying to beat the clock. It was very frustrating as I appeared to hit a plateau and I would consistently get a new best time within a few 1000s of the last. About .1s off.

I’m stubborn though and was going to continue until the countdown ran out or I beat the time.

With 1 hr 1 min to go I did it!

Now if sirvia jumps on a lowers it again at the end I will personally hunt them down and run over them with a Honda NSX.

Oh well, that's it, had a few laps during lunch and got down to 1:56.114 which puts me in the top 72,000. Oops accidentally changed font colour to white....🤣
Not good, but I did what I could. It's a safe bronze, so I'll take the cash.
This one ends an hour, hoping next will be a track I like in a car I like (don't we all!).

I'm so frustrated about how this TT ended up for me.
I had a 52.950 on Sunday thinking that it was it for me, thinking not to have time to try it again before TT end.
Actually yesterday eveninig I was able to have another 30mins session. I entered it with no expectations, thinking that 30mins were just enough to get in rithm.
After few laps I basically replicated my time (52.96X) but with the good news to have Turn 1 now very consistently 3/10 better than my best ghost.
So I started working on Turn2, were I feel too much inconsistent. I figured out finally why I was like that and started improving. You know when you are in the phase where you finally understand what to do, and start taking action to actually do it, until you make it regular? I was there.

But that's it.... the time for my short session run out...

So I ended up with the same time, knowing quite for sure that with some more training I would be able to go at least 52.2

I know that I should see this as a plus, but still not having the time to train more is kind of demotivating me.
I don't want to play the victim and I know the circumstances are the same for many people, I just have to accept that family chores + rig in living room has this downside, but today it hurts.

Yeh I get you, I've been lucky on this one, in that my new job hasn't started yet, so I had more practice time. Plus the Mrs has been out of the house most days, otherwise I would never have had the time.
So yeh it's really frustrating when you figure out but times against you.

I do not know if I will sound as a comforter but more of us are in similar situation, and I regret that I didn't start improving my times earlier, a week or two ago, but waited until last night and then still it was not enough to get times I am pretty sure I could get... but lets focus on next one that starts today, I wonder which car it is?
