While I'm content with this being the first time trial with rewards that permits more than one car, I think it'd be nicer if we could eventually see more interesting regulations. For example, a limited selection of cars within a group, with either BoP enabled, or perhaps instead, a limit on either PP, power, and/or weight. For example, there was that GTWS Nations Cup Season 1 round where you could only use three modern LMP1 racers (and the GR010 LMH, seemingly taking the spot of the TS050 LMP1) at Le Mans. Another example being the current Daily Race A, where there are regulations on power/weight, as well as being limited to road-going FF cars at Blue Moon Bay. (Even if that Daily Race A is more like a Scirocco one-make at the moment.)
Similarly, you could have a one-make, but with BoP disabled, and tuning/settings enabled, much like the previous Daily Race A, where you were limited to the BMW M3 (E46) at Alsace - Village, but you could tune it to your heart's content.
I think there's a lot of neat potential for these time trials, especially now that there are rewards. For now, I'm fine just toying around with a rental GT-R Gr.4 at Dragon Trail Seaside. Last time I checked on Thursday, my time was within 3.19% of the top time, so I think I could potentially get gold if the top time doesn't get much lower. Heck, even if I do get silver, I can't say I'd turn down 1m credits.

I'm trying the Huracan, I'm almost at my GTR times buy have to work quite hard for it, braking for the fast S corner is a real b*tch, cause the Huracan still drives like I remember, altho GR4 is better than the GT3, but I think......when I nail everything I will be faster that the GTR , still at 1.46.307 at place 1382 🤣, nice challenge 😀

Great time mate 👍 It is a sweet drive for sure, I went back and got the Huracan down to 1'46.112 been on for a 1'45 many times but always fluff it somewhere
run way too many miles today already so will try again another day. Keep pushing and you will beat your GT-R time.. Good luck!

Does anyone else feel that is these paids out TT are one of the best updates that PD has done since the game has come out?
I know its only 2 million dollars every two weeks, but for me I can get Gold in these TT way quicker than I can do 3-4 Toykos or Sardegna. Besides its nice to do something different for credits.

Hopped in the Mustang and got my time down from 48.4 in the 650S to 47.8. Still a messy lap, so there's more in it for sure. I'll be back in the Mustang for more laps tomorrow night...

I'm taking a break for a day or 2, it's getting more frustrating than fun 🤣, this morning spend almost 400 miles trying to beat my time with the GTR, so many times up for high 45's, but instead of the first corner my Achilles heel is now the death chicane, it just doesn't like me today 😅

I had that yesterday. No issues first time around last week (breezed through the COD every time and managed a high 1:46) then yesterday could not get through once in about ten attempts. Ended up slowing down through it a few times then back on it. Down to 1:45.8 now.

I was planning to try a couple of cars and just fall back on the GT-R if gold was out of reach.
But... I realized that round 7 of Manufacturers cup is that exact combo, I am with Nissan.
The obvious time optimization was too nice to pass, so went for the GT-R.
I actually struggled a bit in the sector 2, the GT-R does understeer quite a bit there and it took a bit to understand what I needed to do.
Once done, it was mostly a matter of trying a few times until luck allowed going through the CoD fast enough.
Maybe 45min to get 1:47.1x, which should ensure gold (2.4% now).
That's by far the fastest I got to gold, knowing the car helped a lot.
I will push a bit more and try to go under 2% on that one.

This is why once I get safely within gold I just stop. I'd drive myself mad trying to get that extra .010" lap after lap. You have more patients than me.

First time I’ve tried one of these TT. A combination of me being hopeless at this weeks dailies and this combo being one of my strongest I put a fair amount of time in here. I’d really love to get into the top 100 but I think this may be my limit now. I spent over an hour just now for the sake of less than 1 tenth improvement on a time that had already taken me 2 hours!

Jeez awesome time. As soon as i got into the 1.46's that was me.......but I'm kinda enjoying Race B this week despite the lack of people to have a proper race with.

I can relate to that, most of the time ( except for yesterday ) the CoD goes allright, but i just can't have the right line on 1, if you watch the videos of top times it looks so easy and so stable, i think it has alot to do with the braking before 1, i'm on DS4 and imo braking is alot harder on DS4, you just can't regulate your brakepressure as good as on a wheel.
and i'm a bit unstable the moment i cut the left curb so i have to release throttle input.
But i will succeed
