Current times in session #1, track dry.

TIME~DRIVER~CAR~TYRES

2:14.8 Spurgy (VOL)(D)
2:16.4 Smuffy (BMW)(D)
2:18.1 Chris (HON)(D)
2:19.2 Furinkazen (VOL)(D)

Also, me and carb still haven't decided on a team name or paint scheme. I'll be in my exact S5 car.

Me quitting GT5 entirely might not be far away now, the racing has become too competitive and there's no enjoyment involved.

Just looking at the old threads, I miss the old TOCA banter, much more fun than these new guys and Chqr.

BTW you may have noticed but I'm not in the room.

Honda just destroyed us and won Monza with Chris.

Yeah but Spurgy hasn't got his 10 hours of practice yet and the Honda drivers are better than most. That and the fact the race probably wasn't more than 3 laps...

Not enjoying the car one lil' bit. When looking at the exterior, yes, it's the same as the one I had back at S5, with no added or deducted parts. However, with the change of physics, it's no longer competitive and I'm back at a similar status as S3 - trying to cope with lack of setups and lack of car speed in some way.

Why are Monza laps so slow in the same cars last season we were easily hitting 59s :odd:.

Yeah I guess lol but doesn't really account for one second. Think Spurgy did a 1:59.3 last season. Tyre wear usually only counts for a max of .5 secs in my experience.

Poor James..

New physics made some FFs even better imo by lowering the rear grip somehow ;).

I was pretty sure there was at least a second with tyre wear...

I remember with Tsukuba back in Season 3 I got a 59.8 pre-season and a 59.0 for the actual qualifying, pre-season had tyre wear back then.

Mazda drivers are reporting the car has gone to 🤬 since the last update - Joe seemed to get MORE grip in dirty air and Carb just seems to have lost pace inexplicably.

(might help if ya run it in Carb ;))

Mazda is fast as anything lol Atin proves that..

I don't see it helping, I'd be just constantly reducing power back to 306 after it's gone up.
