Still going to check replay however. Fox always seems to have a target this season on him, kinda the Adam Morgan of this season...

I did. We all know I was never going to get a win in TOCA but mid field finishes were not out of the question. Up until AR racecraft was excellent, then the red mist decended for some drivers and the fallout ensues.

Shame it happened to you mate :(

I was a target at Seca last season, AR suites my driving style, however, I couldn't keep up with Spurgys' pace!

Ironic thing is, I switched from the BMW to the Mazda less than a week before the start. :/

Had a look at the tyre wear and overall, it's exactly the same as the Infiniti, just the Infiniti spreads it out over 4 tyres instead of 2 :(

Race 2 replay analysis of Lap 1:

Smuffy very late on brakes into Chris, and lag spikes send him into DK who gets into Fox as he gets shoved off.

I have indeedy. Like I said to furi, I compete here to win. Sure it's all fun etc but really, everyone is here to win, that's why there is a score board. If my car will not allow me to do so, I cannot see any reason for me to continue when I can get better racing standards on iRacing every hour.

Sorry guys. ;)

That would be a pity. I think your decision on giving up on the championship is a bit premature though, with the 2 worst tracks for the Mazda behind us, and after a race weekend where you finished 2nd/2nd/3rd. Tables are not up yet, but I'm pretty sure you're also still just less than one disconnect away from the championship lead.

Agreeing with snow here, it's a premature decision to leave the championship right now.

the tyre wear situation is always going to be a topic where there's going to be a lot of disagreements where the FWD drivers are going to complain, and the RWD drivers are going to say it's ok.

with 8 laps to go of race 3 yesterday both me and spurgy were 8 seconds off the lead (he was slightly ahead so may of been around 7.5), he goes to close the gap at roughly 1 second per lap where i drift off to around 20 seconds behind at the finish. i know this isn't the honda's strong track with me only lapping once below a 1:20 all meeting but my general pace was a 1:20.1 - 1:20.5 all night

Races where ok but I like it hard but fair. And some here have no respect for others respectively shut down their respect before the Start of the Race.

Race 1 was ok for me but a few bumps to my rear and me was off the line and couldn´t accel perfectly => some past me.
Had good battles and myself was more aggresive too but not unfairly.

Race2:
Went very good till lap 10ish or something like that where Smuffy, Spurgy and Dax closed the gap to Conbon//Neljack and me.
I could hold up Spurgy for 2 laps was very clean and fair, but when he passed me he was gone.
=> Had to "hold up" Dax to keep my 2n place.

Con/Nel/Dax and me fought for the places sometimes a bit rugher but thats due to our closeness.
When Dax was in clean air he was away too an Smuffy used our fightings to close up.
He joned our fight and brought in even more bumpings.
Last lap at the Ring he bumped me wide and gained the 5th spot.
Well at least he apologized to me afterwards, but still not a good move ;)

Race 3:
Sumo was in his Mazda (he did the Q race in a Mini) and he passed me in a super disrespectfull manner => me was a little far behind.
I never felt good this Saturday and me was allday a little sick => I threw up and had to clean my floor => parked my car after I had a battle in the first double chicane.

@Conbon: I hope you know I´m not a dirty driver. The off in R2 was because of driftking. You on the outer line and he d-bombed me which send me into you.
And R3 Smuffy was the one who always tapped me.
(example: Me defending the inside line he follows me and brakes in my rear => me wider than normal => me into you)

Maybe we drop AR for next possible Seasons

By the way, forgot to say last night, congrats on the S7 title Spurgy 👍

EDIT: Yeah sorry Sakery wont be like that Monday evening I swear :(

@ Dax

Its not always about the win mate, its about the taking part.

"It doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, 'I have finished.' There is a lot of satisfaction in that."

I'm sorry to anyone who I've knocked around last night, I'm starting to regret my choice of car. :grumpy: I hope I'm locked in for next weekend.

Does that apply when it's almost impossible not to finish? :sly:

Spurgy your just a bloody alien

Tbh I'm surprised that I won all 3 races yesterday, there were 5-6 drivers all within 3/4 tenths of me. And I think Dax feels he should be winning and that because he isn't, something must be massively wrong with his car
