Toyota MR-S S Edition '99
205BHP~960kg~440PP
Touge Setup

JackThaLad does it again.
I used this tune on my MR-S v edition (6MT) '02
227bhp/7200rpm
27kgfm/4800rpm
911kg
PP458 ( I had hoped it would make 500pp)

I went to weight reduction 1
Engine tuning 2
And got the gears as close as I could.
Ran the car round my normal touge test track Deep Forest and got my best time in my own tune drown from 1:32.xxx to 1:29.450
This tune kept the tail action I wanted after a slight hand brake tap and made sure there was next to no under steer.

Once again great work guys. Another top tune, proving to myself I know nothing

Nice one man. You wouldnt be able to get the same gear ratios if you installed Stage II Engine Tuning, and possibly because it is not the S Edition. I have A few MR-S S Editions I will send you one now, then see if it handles the same. 1:29.450 at 460pp, was this done on S/H Tires. That seems pretty impressive lol

I thought the gearing was different as it was a different MR2 model. Didn't think about the difference extra engine tuning.

I'm doing all my testing on sports hard tyres.
Trying to stick to the touge rules. So if I ever join in the Touge race leagues I'll already be used to that tyre choice.

I had hoped it would get to 500pp so I could compare it to my other 500pp touge test cars got as far as 460pp and thought it was takgin it too far away from your tune.
Like picking a different car to put it on wasn't a big enough difference to start with lol.
Would love to try it on the car it was meant for. I'll stick to your exact tune for this one though.
I've been round Deep forest so many times now I would like to think I can get a half decent time on it.
I've been using it as my test track for all sorts of car testing.

Nah it will be because of the Engine Stage II upgrade.

I have a couple more 500pp Touge tunes that should be ready in the next few days. Including my revised R32 & S15. Plus a Honda Civic '08 which hopefully is faster than the T-Spec Garage one.

Still at 460pp it was under 90seconds so I'm happy with that. :)
I've sent you the MR-S S Edition so let me know if there is much difference.
Have you had a try of any other of my 440pp Touge set-ups. The Mini is surprisingly fast!

Not tested any out 440pp cars yet. But will do a 440pp section to my touge test section.

May not get on the ps3 for a couple of days. We have house guests so will test the mini and correct mr2 Monday night.
Thanks so much for sending the car over.

Um, hi Boss... I tried your Mini tune and I really like it (1:31.098 at Deep Forest) but I couldn't get the exact specs you have down (was at 447pp) so I used the power limiter to bring it back down to 440pp. Ran it against my first attempt at a touge tune (a Mini One... 1:30.891 at Deep Forest). Had a blast running it threw the hills and turns at Deep Forest, and at the "krenkme proving grownds" (personal test course:dopey:). Even put on comfort mediums and turned a 1:35.xxx. Great job, and awesome tune!👍

So I guess what I'm asking Sir would it be okay if I post my Mini tune (in the near future...kids playing little big world:dunce:), or would that just be too much of the same for the garage?

P.S. = Sorry about the mess in the meeting room, will clean it up soon :yuck:. And madmyk, waiting for the surver (and my kids) before I try your TVR...can't wait... do you take cream with your coffee?

Nice man glad you liked it, I never tried the Cooper S '05 with FC Suspension, maybe it could be better, it literally took me less than a minute to set up and I was happy with the results lol

Err... if you want to post your Mini One tune go ahead, you can post what you want, I dont mind if you Post a car that I have tuned already either. I will be sure to give your Mini a go too once you post it. No rush though I wont be back on till at least another 16 hours.

:D Reminds me of a joke - I like my coffee the way I like my women...

black and bitter

I have been wanting to try some tunes here and at Clueless but have similar family obligations. My 4 year old got me a Toy Story game for my birthday so he can play on Playstation with me. :) So I might not be on GT5 as much for a bit. I will check in tonight because I am looking forward to getting my 1967 ticket. 👍

I want to try your Chrysler tunes the most. I was messing with a Crossfire and a Prowler recently but they are still in the development phase. The Prowler can be a handful, and mine is only at 450pp.

Catch you guys later...

Got caught up playing with my kids and now watching football. Hope to get it up (the tune :)) sometime tommorrow. I also run ride hight Suspension on the One, I guess great minds think alike :D. I don't think you need to run FC Suspension on a car that handles well to start with. JMO:dopey:
Also picked up a Toyota MR-S S Edition some time back so I'll have to try that as well

Ahem, well, um, better off not finishing that one.

Hot and full of booze :P

Well Happy birthday!!!👍👍 :D. Family is always more important then a game, so if you get around to trying a tune here or at clueless great, if not :(....just kidding. If you do try one of the Chryslers the Miss Crossfire is the most easy to drive and can turn some quick laps....but that's from the garage down the street not here...sorry Boss:dopey:. Again Happy birthday and happy driving.

Where you at Onboy? I might try crashing the party.:D
I'm at the job of trying to be:
1. a good little Onboy for my dad as he's just come back from a week of business travel, but I still need to slowly take the TV from him
2. looking for that damn room that TimberW hosted!

Well if you find the room let me know so I can see if that Mazda I'm doing for you will actually work online. Not that Harvey Wallbanger can avoid the walls and other track features all that well regardless of the tune.

We are both in the lobby come join us!

PSN has decided to hate my connection again today.

Really wish Sony would do an update to the ps3 software that wouldn't keep dropping people using wireless connections.:banghead:

Hey, Jack, me and your mate/rival Solidsnake over a T-spec garage have been tweaking that S14 that you gave me :D I hope you don't mind, but can it be a collaboration project between the two of you? (And me, of course:D)

Yeeah man for sure, will be interesting to see how it ends up.

To be honest I wasnt finished with it just rather sick of it. So I sent it back maybe to get some feedback. I found it to tail-happy whilst also understeering sometimes. I couldnt handle it so I just had to get it off my back lol. I will come join yous online now if you are on.
