Yeeah man for sure, will be interesting to see how it ends up.

To be honest I wasnt finished with it just rather sick of it. So I sent it back maybe to get some feedback. I found it to tail-happy whilst also understeering sometimes. I couldnt handle it so I just had to get it off my back lol. I will come join yous online now if you are on.
Well, we've just messed with the Initial Torque section of the diff and soften the springs a tad. Yea, it's a tailhappy devil of a car, isn't it :D I have a N/A version, that shouldn't be as lively in the corners.

Too late, in bed already :D

So while dusting off the many trophies here in the Top Performace Tuning garage, and reading up on Touge racing I decided to try my hand at a 440pp Touge tune.....

Its ok he asked me first on PSN, I just told him to post it on here with the required specs.

If you want krenkme ill let you handle this, First job for you here at TPT. :)

PS. My office is looking a bit untidy get to it when you can, thank you ;)

EDIT: Also someone asked about a Toyota Supra, around 500pp on sports hard. I'm busy atm tuning my rally car if you want you can have a go at that too. You can always send me the car before you post settings on here for me to have a quick lookover and test.

Thanks
Jack

I just finished covering all the office furniture in plastic wrap like you asked :D.

I'd be happy to take on these two cars, I will be busy all day but should be able to tinker with them this week. Some questions, first what Supra are we talking about? Second, @TheRahavic any type of suspension you're looking for? Last, how did you want that steak cooked Sir?:dopey:

Theres two types of supras, Rz and RZ-s I think, not sure. but i would go for the RZ. Medium to well done 👍

Plastic wrap

Not sure on exactly what type of suspension. I just want something thats gonna move good on the mountain. Speed touge setup is what I'm after. Thanks again for giving the car a look. I am 100% sure your gonna have a blast driving this very fun car, as will everyone who gets to ride it on the sure to be amazing TPT tune. :)

Nice man!

Is that a good time then?

Any comments on the tune?

The reason I remember NSX cars, is from reading over a decade ago, how this car, when exploded onto the market, was able to drive twisty tracks along side super street bikes, and hold its own!

so far I like it very much, I need more time(period) with the car on various tracks. It served me very well on the Nordschleife track, except for some minor moments where the rear end would break loose under heavy , or from high speed braking into those turns where, the breaking is required. I also felt this car basically didn't need an LSD at all, since you virtually cannot oversteer this car at all, which is a good thing. I tried to tinker with the brake bias to reduce the rear end a bit, but I didn't want to spoil the great tune any further.

But for the most part, it handles exceptionally well, even on the High Speed ring, where after the long straight, you can just let the car slide off throttle on the smaller high speed bend approaching the bridge to the S-curves. (online handled great on Laguna Seca too!)

Very little steering input is required to initiate a turn, just thinking about it is enough.

I just wish to know please, what sequence do you use to tune your transmissions, because I couldn't get your ratios selected. Do you alter FD first, or set a higher MS first?

I normally set the top speed first, then gear ratios followed by final drive, I will double check to see how I got them. 👍

Thanks.

Toyota MR-S S Edition '99
TokyoR246_2-2-1.jpg

205BHP~960kg~440PP
Touge Setup

Just did a quick test of this tune on the car it was meant to be on against the car I put it on first

Your car the MR-S S edition '99 made it round deep forest in 1:30.788
Once I had changed a few parts on my car and made the weight and BHP the same as the tune car my MR-S V edition (6mt) '02 made it round in 1:31.326

So the car the tune was made for is about half a second quicker round deep forest with me at the wheel.

But it's a great tune on either car.

I did yes and managed to take it for a quick run last night around Trial Mountain. Unfortunately I was unable to drive it like I wanted too, I've made a few adjustments to the suspension. The main problem with that car was the rear wheel spin, I managed to reduce it quite a bit but I think it can still be improved.

The spring rates were a bit odd, I switched them round which made it more stable. I also reduced the Dampers down to between 1-4 which I think helped to improve grip. I will have another go tuning later tonight and send it back to you to see what you think.

Thanks. I definitely needed another set of eyes. I just couldn't get it to hook up like I wanted (almost made a drift car by accident :)). I think I over adjusted the tune to much and I should have just started over. Looking forward to the adjustments you made. Thanks again Sir

@krenkme did you or your daughter have any feedback for me regarding Miss Piggy? Wondering if I should release that as an update or if it needs more work.:D

Yeah its annoying when you cant get it how you want it, sometimes it is better just reset the settings to default and try again, ive had to that a couple times. But yeah will send it back once im done with it. Thanks

We talking about that '70 Celica I was asking about for a tune? If so glad to see 2 ppl putting work in at getting it ready for the mountain. Love this car so much and at the weight it is at its an amazing car to whip around. Can't wait to see what you guys got going on it :)

Yeah we are yeah :) And i'm working on it now oni the touge, your right it is a good little car, sorty of reminds me of the AE-86 in a way.

@Krenkme
I've returned your celica back with some slight adjustments I made last night. (Did you test yours online before you sent it me?)

I've also spent the last two hours or so tuning my own Celica '70. I started from scratch and eliminated most of the wheel spin and a fair amount of grip (Compared to stock). I'm happy with the setup I've done anyway and will release the car shortly along with my Honda Civic '08.

Sorry I failed you sir :(. First I tuned off-line, second I tested at Deep Forest, and last I'm not very good!

Seriously, this car has so much potential I just couldn't find it. I just hope I at least had a good base tune to start with.... I'll go clean the toilet :(.
:) :D :)

What setup do you suggest for the Integra RM for the Madrid TT?

I tried the setup already hear and I'm losing a second. Plus the steering feels very "light" compared to a default setup with appropriate mods. Unfortunately being limited to Comfy Soft tires sucks. I don't see how the TT leader is down to 52. I'm in 56/57.

I'm not quite sure what to suggest. I havent had a look at the TT myself but if you want I will tune a RM Integra for it tomorrow.

Have you not tried any other setups for the Integra?

No I haven't dug deep into the bowels of the tuning forum yet. The offsite setup repository is not mobile friendly.

I just want something that is proven and simply "works".

Well I can get a setup up for you around this time tomorrow, if that helps.

I was just reading about the TT and a few people have said that the top times have been achieved by cheating (Crashing into the walls on the corners), so you wont be able to get close to their times by driving clean.

Are you just a second off Gold?

Gonna give it a run here a few I'll be back with what I think, but pretty sure its gonna be great and thanks for giving it a shot. Also thats the first thing I said when I got a hold of it (the AE86 comparison). Little looser than the AE86 but hence why I asked for a tune from you guys :)
THANKS AGAIN!

Hey boss, I'm back from a short vacation. Sorry I did not send in my time-off request before I left. I thought you were going to feed the kangaroo while I was gone. Oh well. I can get another one.
