Get your mind out of the gutter.

As a matter of fact, she also drove a bit on the Autobahn that day.
She went just as hard as me, and loved every minute of it.

Quit posting nonesense like this just to raise your status. Its everywhere I go and its getting annoying :irked:.

RUF tests their cars on the autobahn. An actual RGT can get up to 212 MPH stock (RUF Stock that is). Thats with a reporter and two camera men ...

i was doing 110mph on the autobahn and a gt2 passed me like i was standing still. i had just enough time to notice 'gt2' on the back before it disappeared over the horizon, so yeah the RUF thing certainly happens all the time.

in fact the ceo of bmw drives his F1 at 200mph to work every day. no one believed him until they analysed the on-board computer when it went back for servicing :D heh

Why would the CEO of Bimmer drive another company's car? I mean, think about it.

If I was the CEO of BMW I would own a lot of BMW's, yes, but I probably wouldn't always want to drive one.

Besides, isn't the McLaren's motor made by BMW?:odd: I'm not some huge McLaren freak so I'm not sure. Hell, I don't even like the car at all.

I don't know about McLaren, but I know Rolls-Royce is. I am sure he owns a couple of those.

The BMW Group website only admits to having BMW, and Mini as their products. :odd:

Yet they do have a link to rolls-royce website.

By visiting the Mclaren Website it looks to me that they are pretty independant. right now they are working with DaimlerChrysler to build the new Benz SLR. I don't think BMW, as a company would be making such deals. :)

the f1 DOES have a bmw engine. the germans also own rolls royce i can't remember who it is but i think it is bmw who own them. audi own lamborghini now... yes the germans are taking over once again ! hehehe

Yep. BMW V12. Funny thing is, Gordon Murray originally wanted Honda as an engine manufacturer, because back then the McLaren F1 cars were powered by Honda. He felt it'd be a true representation of a road going McLaren F1 car.

Honda declined, and he went to BMW...

Rolls Royce/Bentley is owned by Volkswagen, just like SEAT, Skoda, Lamborghini, Audi and Porsche, amongs others...

I pulled off 65 mph in a 35 zone, downhill, of course, on my Diamondback 21-speed mountain bike.
My other speed record is fairly low, 95mph in a stock 85 MR2 (lots of cops in my area, no radar detector).

Bentley is part of the VAG (Volkswagen-Audi Group) and Rolls-Royce is owned by BMW.

The fastest I've ever gone is 120MPH in a Ford Contour. Last week, me and my friend went out for a ride and we did about 85MPH in a 2003 Accord.

170 Km/H in a Golf CL, and 190 Km/H in a BMW 328i. My brother has already done around 220 with the Bimmer, and it would still keep going all the way to the 250 Km/H limiter.

We have quite a few stupid drivers here who will blindly get in the fast lane or that wont understand that if a car is coming behind and is flashing the lights, that they should move out of the way. I really hate driving sometimes because its almost as if I have to expect that these other drivers will act so stupid. So its abit hard to go get that max speed... should be better around 3-4 in the morning I guess.

130mph in a Renault Laguna.
