Thanks Jocke! :)
But I think I'm OK with it... For sure disappointed, once again, but OK with it this time... :)

I was counting with 10% that it could happen again... And it FU:censored:ING happened!!!

I really don't know what/where the problem is??? This never happen (not that much) at S.A.C. Casual Races for instance. We are frequently at least 10 guys on the start grid and the most guys use headsets...

So don't be sad dear Jocke! I had practiced a few hours today to finally reach a 1:54.464, but I'm fine with it...

Looking forward to Le Mans for my next blown engin!!! :banghead:

No, it's a little bit awkward as I'm not allowed to put the TV downstairs where the modem is, so I kind of have to go wireless.
The PS3 WiFi is really not that good.
Have you considered Powerline Ethernet adapters? They are a great alternative if you need to connect over a distance without WiFi and provide a much better and more constant connection. I've used them in the past without problem.

The examples in the link are from Amazon and the cheapest I could find, but if you look on Ebay you'll find cheaper ones at around £15 (or less) Make sure you get a pair though!

@buybon355 shaking arse? According to my replay you had SH tyres on the rear! Was that in error or was it an experiment that didn't work? :mischievous:

Cheers Paul, thanks very much!

Paul you missed that episode, too bad you came indeed later into the room...
BB didn't that deliberately and said something similar to: "... I like when it shakes rear..." very similar, sorry...
And I began of course with non-sense...

Congrats at @Dustybin for the victory!!!
Big respect @jammy21 for his 2nd place!!! Wow, this should have been a crazy fight, 1 sec after over 40 min.!!
I was watching Dusty's and jammy's arrows on the map the entire race and they were always on top of each other.
It must have been one hell of a fight and also note their qualifying times. It's like Ayrton vs. Alain, Mika vs. Michael
and Lewis vs. Nico. 👍

Paul @IfAndOr deserves a mention too coming from last place on the grid up to 6th.
I saw him first on the map coming closer and closer to me, then I didn't need the map anymore
because he was right there in my mirrors. As he passed me I tried to keep up but
crashed into the wall doing so and was in need of repairs. Great steady driving Paul.
In Motegi you drove a whale, remember? Here in Tokyo you definitely piloted a shark! :)

I found it a little hard to concentrate because I kept thinking of Patrick.

Damn, what a pity for having missed such a race, I could have take part of your fight, who knows???

It seems, this race was a real pretty jewel... Sh:censored:it, that make me angry again!!!

Any replay possibility? I mean on YouTube or similar? @MannYhAvitZ      :D

Oh, BTW, while you all were in the qualifying session, I planed to watch the whole race. Unfortunately I got once again disconnected and I thought, it's better to stay far from the room before I cause any other "blown engines"... :indiff: :indiff: :indiff:

I'm really looking forward to Le Mans since I've never participated in such an endurance race before. The 030 looks great and it's a lot faster than what I'm used to in GT6.

I will try and practice as much as I can. I can't allow Paul to steal another place from me. :D

But I'm almost broke at this point, gk's rent money for the week living in his guest room landed at tens of thousands of Yen.

I'm on my way to France as I write this, so Patrick, can I stay with you this week? I have 23 Euro to my name. Is it enough? It's all I have left after gk's rent.

Three laps in the heavy damage got me again - for the second meeting. It seems sometimes it only takes the slightest of contacts with another car to "wreak" your car!

What seemed like just a brush between Wayne and myself resulted in damage to both cars. My car was pulling to the right so I spent the next couple of laps ramming my left side against the barriers trying to damage it and thus straightening my wheel again. It took an awful lot of attempts to achieve this! Which was strange because the original contact was so minimal! PD have indeed a very strange damage model.

Eventually we both pitted and I started my "charge" forward to 6th. :) Another 40 minutes and I would have won. Or then again probably not.

I had a good battle with Wayne and enjoyed reeling you in Jocke. It's a shame I didn't get to see anyone else though. It got a bit boring towards the end - I lost concentration and started hitting the barriers again. :guilty:

I did manage to get the third fastest in race lap time behind the two titans up front - so that pleased me.

Congrats go to Dusty, Jammy and Qken for their podium finishes.

A good race all and a special shout out to Patrick and Mikey for their continuing dedication at attempting to race - Next time guys. Maybe.

I'm not sure if I can make the Le Mans race next week. The 60 minutes might be beyond my "endurance". ;)

I'm very happy with my 3rd place! I did not believe that before the race began. But after I passed @JockeP22 after 2nd lap I got a pretty big gap and thought that now it is just to avoid the walls so is the 3rd place mine. But! when it was 3-4 minutes left I forget completely to slow down before a curve and has broken right front tire . So they last 3-4 laps became nervous !!!

;) :D

Once again, any replay possibility? Could anybody say "yes"?

Watching MannY since I joined GTPlanet he has inspired me to want to purchase an Elgato (like he has)
and start capturing race videos like he does.
Just waiting for the right moment.

Until then Patrick all I can do is send you the replay file and you can watch it on your PS3.
Maybe I should make a video on how to share replays?
Would that be helpful?
A step, by step video on how to send them, how to create the folders and how transfer it to the PS3?

💡💡💡

You already wrote 1 or 2 "how tos" somewhere a cup of weeks ago if I right remember, didn't you?

But for answering your question, making a step by step video is a great idea and would be for sure appreciated... 💡 👍
(honestly, I don't know anymore where to find the explanations you already posted...?... Maybe at Mallets' Touge Battle thread?)

If you do that Manny, you should post it in a new thread here;
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/board/gran-turismo-6/

I'm sure a lot of GTP members would appreciate something like that.

For me it's very easy to upload the actual file. Done it a few times now.
Last time was here #409

The tricky part could be to put it together again for the PS3, just like you said.

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

I was looking forward for this race but I think I won't make it. Sc:censored:w you real life !

David my man.

Big Mac for me too. No thank you on the snails and clams and frog legs. Sorry Patrick. :)

I'm a bit weird though because I always order my Big Mac's with no cheese.
I don't much care for McD's cheese anyway and with special orders you get a freshly made one
instead of one laying around for an hour. Win-win.

Oh like create a forum letting people know how to share replays?

Ok I'll work on it next time..

Our (me and Dusty) race was close all the way. I did little mistake at begin and Dusty pass me (was 3rd lap?). After that we had max 2s gap between us - most of the time it was round 1s. I never get close enough to try passing Dusty.
Let go LeMans.
