The deluxe is considerably heavier and is much more stable under the strain of emergency counter steering. Or in the case of mbobb and Psycho-Tuber, when testing out the all wheel drive characteristics of the Gallardo they were using to trim the grass at Deep Forest tonight. :sly: ;)

Last night was fun. Had a couple good races.

After our "meeting" on the front straight, had a great battle with mbobb until I choked and spun into a wall.

Had fun in that first race even with the fuel problems. ps3 backed out of GT5 went into an auto update then shut off between races. Hope the second race went well. Happy Easter.

Cool! I like how you have all the cords organized in that blue thing! I will check out the deluxe edition.

Nice to be back racing in the enduro series! As usual clean drive by everyone in div 3. Too bad some weren't able to finish the race.

Jaydoc and I had an interesting last few laps during race 2. I thought I can catch up but always make a mistake when I am about to make a pass. I clipped the grass before the last turn and spun. Excellent drive jay!

Congrats to the division winners!

I did the exact same thing going in the first race was leading 8/22 had about a 3 second lead or so, and my back tire just barely touched the grass and flipped out, which cost me last place there. :ouch:

Great racing again last night in div. 2 by all drivers! Apologies to tzracer for contact, all was well then you ran into mbobb on the straight:ouch:I hated that we lost dragon and liam in the 2nd race they were running well. By the way welcome to the league Dragonwhisky :tup:and congrats in race 1! Also congrats to Ph1sher:tup: in race 2 looks like the wheel is helping you go way faster! Always a blast guys, can't wait to go again!

Thanks thirdroy! We had a good battle going in the second race when I came out of the pits at lap 14, I figured I had better tire wear since I went in last, and just kept catching slowly on you for about 5 laps. Good racing though!! Haha it sure is, I can't believe I was actually going that fast compared to Wednesday's practice which was awful for me! Lots of fun guys! Congrats to the divisional winners!

That would be me. Not sure what the rules are on this: I spent hours practicing with the M3 on that track. I was so ready. I was clocking 2:12s consistently and felt great about a 22 lap race.

Unfortunately, life had other plans. My DFGT came unattached from my WSP in the middle of the first race and I could not get it re-attached in a manner quick enough to make the race worth finishing. Second race...My back was hurting to the point of having to quit. This has to be a result of spending too much time "hunched" over racing the old way without enough break time.

I do/did not like the idea of quitting. Couldn't avoid it last night. I do plan on resuming racing when I get back home on Tuesday.

Oddly enough, I just drove 8.5 hours from LA to TN today. My back doesn't feel great at the moment. I should be good for Enduro practice and Saturday race though. I had fun racing while I do though last night.

Div 1 was fun as usual. Martin made a stupid quick lap in qualifying and was able to take pole position, I was .15 off from him. He could get through the 1st sector faster about .4-.5 faster but then I would be quicker through the last 2.

Race 1 Martin had a good start but made a mistake on lap 2 or 3 in the 1st corner as he pushed a bit on the cold tires and I was able to slip by. I made sure to keep my bias really low to conserve tires. As martin slipped back to 2nd he then had to defend and I was able to open a 4-5 second gap by the 1st pit stops. Unfortunately Martin and most of the other racers had to re-enter the pits to take on additional fuel. I put in the just enough fuel to make it to the end. I ran out as I crossed the line. My last 3 laps were stupid slow as I was coasting 3-4-500 meters before the corner and using taller than normal gears to try and make fuel. It was a great race.

Race 2 I was able to use some patience and make my way through the pack. I made sure to be cautious and never use much tires and coast into the corners when I could as the lessons learned from race one meant to conserve fuel.

Great race gents!

Just got a little bit of bad news and it looks like I won't be running on the 13th or the 20th of April but hopefully I'll be around this coming Saturday to tame the Gallardo at DFR.
Also, just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone!

I noticed that you were alot faster than me in the 3rd sector. When I went in to pit at the end of lap 11 the pop-up window said I needed 0 liters so I didn't think to look at my gauge :dunce:. I ran out of fuel about half way through lap 19 then pitted 🤬. It recommended 8 liters so I put in 13 and ran out again with almost a whole lap left :banghead::banghead:. Went from a comfortable 2nd place to dead last in three laps without going off track . Beat that!

Had a great race Saturday night, great to see a few newcomers and the return of a few regulars! It was awesome to have 8 racers in our lounge again!

As for the race... I too ran out of fuel in race 1. I also didn't question the pit recommendation of 0 liters, made it to lap 21 and ran out in the turn before pit entry, dipped Ito the pits, but not in time to beat littleregret passing to initiate the last lap warning. So with an empty tank, I just waved at the pit crew and took a parade lap/final lap.

That's about how I felt. Race 2 was much better, great battle with Johnsom at the end. Everyone always seems to want my position 2-3 laps from the end. I fought to keep it and was successful, barely, but I held on to the end. Lots of fun!

Thanks everyone who came out and raced!

Great racing Saturday night guys. Atleast I was'nt the only one that ran out of fuel. I cant believe I did it again. I went from never running out of fuel to running out on the last lap of 2 out of three of the last races.:banghead::banghead:

Congrats to all the DIV. winners.

Thanks littleregret265, we played with the Gallardo after the Enduro race and it is all kinds of fun!

No problem, saw you coming, thought it was a bit of a reach. Tried to leave some room, the contact was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. If my mic had been on I would have told you to keep going.

Congrats to all the winners.

alright ill beat that, in the first race, i was leading 8/22 laps with about a 3 second lead off dragonwhiskey and thirdroy. going into the last spoon turn, i got my back tire barely on the grass pushing me to last place. couldnt stop thinking about that one mistake and continued to make little mistakes that race. but did much better in the second race

congrats to the divisional winners!

Hello Turtles,

This is more of a "general" question, not so much pertaining to ENDURO. I wanted to know how many of you host/participate in "Remote Races". I've been oblivious to it until now (I've only been on GT5 since October :dopey: )and I'm thinking about loading a few drivers while I'm away next week. Also, most days I run random endurance races if I'm not breaking in a specific car.

If you'd like to gain some extra b-spec experience and credits, make sure we are friends and you have at least 1 driver shared. When I get back next week, I'm going to start "Hosting" remote races while I'm at work. In the meantime, if you happen to be hosting any races, I'll have a driver to share starting this afternoon ;).

Thanks!

I do remote races all the time while I'm gone even if my bspec level is 40, its always nice to add a little cash in when I get back, ill add your drivers in some remote races next time I do a remote race.

The easiest way to make cash and level bspec drivers is the remote race widget. If you don't have a problem leaving your PS3 and a computer turned on you can run remote races while you sleep or work or are otherwise occupied. Using that widget and an alternate account I've been credit capped so many times I've bought every car in the NCD, OCD and UCD and lost count.
