Seeing as my calendar has now freed up, I'm thinking of re-launching the 6 race sprint series on either Saturday 8th or Sunday 9th November. I'd value any thoughts.

I'm thinking response is slow but I'm still up for it. 👍
Me too. But I think most people are seeing it as an insurmountable challenge to reset the car for each race, rather than a test of how dynamic a driver can be.
Like a stock event, only you get to set the "stock" values to suit your preferences/style of driving.

Don't worry about the avatar for this, it's a hangover from the full series that finished in August.
It looks like I need to sit down and get my OP in order. If nothing else, to avoid confusing people.
And the graphics need the dates updated.
I plan to score this event differently using a Google doc. Again things I need to sit down and do.
I'm noticing a pattern
I've put you on the list in the OP 👍

We're on for November 8th, OP updated to reflect this special

Now on to create the scoring sheet ;)

Thanks. Added to the list. Someone who I know can stop captain running away with a win :lol:Your image doesn't appear to be showing. I'm curious as to what it is?

And it appears the quoting has gone wonky :odd:

@weescotman Will you be joining us tonight? Also, any other last minute takers?

On a side note, this Civic Type R build works quite nicely on the Mount Panorama seasonal with 320bhp and 71kg(I think) ballast.

If I can get out of going to the fireworks, I will be there. If I cant get out of going to the fireworks, have a great race.

I'll be missing this one, Went and hurt my hand again yesterday, so will come be race Marshall if that's cool.

I'm sure you'll try your hardest ;)
Can i put my name down for this?
Certainly, any questions let me know. 👍

You just can't tear yourself away can you  I'm sure your hand will allow you to take part in a couple of races. Especially using this "comfortable pair of slippers"

Now the dust has settled, I can honestly say I enjoyed yesterday's racing. I must admit I got a little anxious when only one other driver had arrived by the intended time for the first vote. I'm glad I held off for that extra 5 minutes.

This event was something of an experiment, and something I would like to repeat. So firstly, thank you all for attending. And secondly, if you have any suggestions that you feel would improve the format, don't hesitate to let me know. Positive or negative, so long as it's constructive. I understand that FF cars are not a preference of most people but it is currently the only car in the Type R Cup stable.

Here is a snip of the scoring sheet

Thanks again to @WarriusZero for the use of the random weather algorithm. It certainly made one race very interesting. Congratulations to @Cpt. Disaster for his victory. and thanks a lot @weescotman for the use of Chamonix.

My proudest moment of the evening, holding the fastest lap on Nürburgring GP/F by a quarter of a second. None the less. It was great racing alongside everyone who attended.

Well done Gary for a great format used in last night's racing. Thanks to everyone for some excellent racing, particularly Warren for close battles at Silverstone and SSR5. 👍

Make the next time not too far into the future! Great job and can´t wait to try this format myself.
