U.S. and Allies strike Syria’s chemical weapons program

Good job I explained that wasn't what I did then. Just a shame it got ignored

The second law of thermodynamics comes close enough1 right now however. It's amusing that you do however mock and abuse others in regard to science2 while citing Mercola, that's an absolute example of ironic3.

.
1: close enough? Thats for horseshoes and hand grenades. Close enough is not an absolute. Leptons and entangled particles being examples of this.
2: got an example of me mocking and abusing over science?
3: it was more about the citations than mercola. As i said about Jones, there are hours of truth mixed in with all the bat **** crazy. But i agree that those truths don't back up my assertion. In that case i was assuming based off info i had thought credible from before the days of google. Oops.

I've already explained the context, that you can't accept or understand it isn't my issue.

You cited both, one wasn't what you said it was and the other is so far from peer reviewed as to be more than worthless. How about owning that rather than trying to fob it off with excuses of 'hours of truth'.

Jones conflated fluoride in water with sex changing animals, he's also a know fluoride who peddler in general. You seemed to attempt to defend that as having some credibility, yet your sources don't back you up. So no, hours of truth around it are lacking from Jones or Mercola.

However if you wish to discuss the claim that fluoride in water is so kind of hidden danger, I'm more than happy to do so (with peer reviewed reference material) over in the conspiracy theory thread

1: you will have to forgive me (or not, don't really care either way) fir feeling like you are moving the goal posts here i said science doesn't deal in absolutes. Your reply to that was "Actually it does (Hint, smoking and cancer). Causality can and isproven."

2: the only thing "abusive" I've written in this whole argument was towards Dotini, abd that was about his new "alien" rhetoric he's latched to, post modernism. And that had nothing to do with science. So again, proof?

3:I didnt cite Jones for anything. In fact, i didnt even bring him up. The was all about the gay frog comment someone else made. I never said he was completely right either, just that there was some truth to his nonsense. I didnt say flouride caused gay frogs either, i said pesticides was causing them to become hermaphrodites. See!
He said fluoride does? He must be getting his conspiracies confused, cause that is what they put in the water to make us more susceptible to mind control. No, its a chemical in herbicides and pesticides that are cause frogs and fish to morph from male to female. Had no idea he was claiming it was flouride.
4. I guess you want a sorry more than owning. As i said "But i agree that those truths don't back up my assertion. In that case i was assuming based off info i had thought credible from before the days of google. Oops." If your looking for a sorry, well, wish in on hand and crap in the other. There, i guess now you can say i was "abusive."

Alright, now that that is over with, let's get back on topic.
The OPCW was finally allowed in to investigate the site. Samples were taken and sent away for testing. I honestly doubt that Russia or Syria really did anything to "clean" the site. With the amount of visibility and conspiracy about all of this, i don't think they could effectively clean and remove anything without it being noticed. Especially given the amount of debris and whatnot that would be contaminated.
That said, i wonder what happens next. I have little doubt that if the tests are positive, russia and syria will insist some sort of foul play. If nothing is found, US, UK and any allies involved will look bad. But ultimately what will come of either situation other than justification?

Dear Rallywagon, I would appreciate it if you stopped abusing me. Postmodernism has nothing to do with "alien" rhetoric. There is no evidence aliens even exist. I never said they did; in fact I deny that they exist - at least anywhere near our solar system. On the other hand, UFOs clearly do exist. The US government has admitted it. Almost everybody already knew it anyway. So please stop conflating UFOs with aliens. There are several hypotheses that explain them that do not invoke aliens. And, once again, please stop abusing me. Thank you for your attention!

Sure, i apologize, now if you could stop using it to label everyone who has a different opinion than you, that would be great.

IMO, nothing will change no matter what the OPCW finds. Either way, Russia, Iran and Shiites will continue to support Assad, and the west will continue to use Assad as a whipping boy. He didn't roll over to feeble western efforts at regime change, and that is unforgivable. It irritates the hell out of the US, Britain and France that he has defied them and is getting away with it. We will seek to undermine him, Russia and Iran at every opportunity. There is a substantial chance it could lead to a wider war.

Russia pushing the 'staged' chemical attack in Syria with a press conference with those that appeared in the video.

Can be seen on RT whilst the western press has unsurprisingly 'moved on' with other trivia and is brushing this under the carpet.

Take another look at those ears

Not exactly front page coverage though, as anything chemical and Syrian/ Russian would've been a few weeks ago.

It was indeed on the front page of the BBC's news website earlier today - I seed it wiv my own eyes.

Still, that wasn't what you were saying, you said it was being 'brushed under the carpet'. It isn't.

From front page (if it was, I'll take our word for it) to virtually disappearing from the main scroll down page, in less than a day - I'd call that brushing.
I used to blindly accept the agenda put forward by the mainstream media (western or other) but now I question most things they report.

Well, in your opinion it isn't brushed under the carpet - in my opinion it most definitely is.

Is @Famine's "New Paints Feature in GT Sport Mileage Exchange Update" article being brushed under the GTPlanet carpet or do web news pages evolve over time? One might blame the audience of a web page as much as the editors - if stories are a popular read then they normally feature in a top-ten/most-read list of some kind (true of BBC News and GTPlanet), perhaps the audience isn't as interested in the story as they are in other features at BBC News? That doesn't make the slipping-off-the-front-page of a story an editorial decision as it might in old fashioned print media.

Or just maybe the russian gov ran RT is throwing out as much propaganda on the attacks as possible to muddy the waters while western media waits patiently for the OPCW to conclude their investigation. Which kinda makes sense since there is nothing doing at this moment until the results are released. I dont think the media needs to keep blasting the same report over and over and over ad nauseam for the next two weeks while OPCW does its thing.
