should we make a list where we put which days we'll attend so you can cross reference it with the car list and make sure everyone drives at least a half a second faster than Vexd, and later the slowest drivers drink less in the pub later on and from there on up?

*takes the opportunity to sneak in while daan, Smallhorses, Sureshot and VEXD are all away*

We've lost Jeff and Blacksheep to "woman" and "new job" - we're down to 16 drivers (which is still the highest turnout of EV4R) and 18 attendees.

I think we'll be running 15 drivers on the Saturday (which will make for a very quick turnover of serieses), 16 on Sunday and 16-down-to-13-gradually on the Monday. Which is brilliant.

If anyone has a spare PS2 that they aren't currently bringing - or if we're convinced a PS3 can sit in the network and act like a PS2 - please do so. We'll need at least one more to hook into the DVD Recorder/Projector.

Convenient excuses. We've probably lost them both to "scared they'll get their asses handed to them on a plate". :dopey:

Surely a PS2 can plug into the DVD recorder then into TV, and be used as normal?

There's too much of a delay. I tried to drive the Ford FPV GT on the projector as opposed to the monitor once...

Was my ps2 on your list of already amassed equipment?
if not, obviously its there!

Instead of ya all running away from VEXD, wouldn't it make more sense to try and drive away from him.....??
Just a thought seeing as we're they're to race!

Famine any time on saturday before 3pm suits me for the picking up of the stuff! Ill have the coffee maker on the go and might even let you have a sneak peak at Guitar Hero :)

Spec....

I'll see if I can ship up around noon. Will the necessary fit in the boot of an MX-5, as I fancy a quick topless jaunt? I presume it's wheels'n'stuff?

Yea just the wheel and stuff. A a topless jaunt sounds like a pleasent way to spend a saturday :sly:

Spec....

Isn't it possible to save replay's in lan mode?
Than someone could record the replays afterwards.

You wouldn't need the extra ps2 that way.

And if you hook up a ps2 to a VCR using the scart cable and connect the scart output to the DVDrecorder/projector + the rf ouput to a tv.

I don't know if a vcr that isn't recording creates a delay, or if it transfers the scart and rf image at the same time.

edit: or just a scart splitter

UKGTP Leerers
And we would milk it for all it's worth.
:mischievous:
Too far?
You may want to keep abreast of the situation. If it goes wrong, you could feel a right tit.
Yeah, we know that! But what about the prizes?
OOH ERR Missus!
*runs away from VEXD*
I can believe your chest has won prizes.

**Joins Nick in running away from VEXD**
Dibs on unwrapping the prizes.

**also joins Nick and daan in running away from VEXD**

👍

Oh, another question. How is the weather like?
It was around 27°C here today (30 yesterday) , and i doubt it's that warm anywhere in the UK at the moment :)

We've been at about 24 degrees for the last two weeks. I'm expecting a little rain today/tomorrow/Sunday, but not much different next week.

Have a look on http://www.weather.co.uk/...

Feck me readers! ;)
Coming all the way from Cali, and it's warmer in England than it is here?
Global warming has a lot to answer for!
It's about time we made the Governator, and Dubbya travel everywhere in Toyota Priuses! :P

It's looking likely that i'll be appearing at some point on the Saturday...then on Sunday i'll be taking Ms Famine away from you lot so we can go shopping or something similar as I imagine she'll be wanting a break by then!

So, i'll see you lot on the 5th May ;)

Oooh, shopping! Can I come... :dopey:

But if you both leave us, who is going to make our coffee? :scared:

daan makes a good point.

EXelero - do you have any serving wenches for hire?

BTW - for 15/16 drivers it'll cost about £13 each for the hall hire for the weekend. Please ensure you bring enough cash to cover this - and no "funny money" from our Europeans. We won't be playing Monopoly... :D

You'll probably need about the same again for provisions from Morrison's.
