I've just input the cars into the memory cards... 88 potential vehicles to be used this weekend (though 2 are common to all three days in backup events).


Looking deeper into things, I have developed concerned mode. Without G.T's PS2 on the Monday, and with EXelero's dicky PS2, we currently don't have enough consoles to make two LANs for the Monday - unless a PS3 owner brings along a v1.7 PS3 and a PS2 memory card adapter - and possible not enough to make two LANs full stop.

So, if anyone can lay their hands on networkable PS2s, do so NOW - I've already spent £900 in a month before I get to Newark and I don't want to have to buy two PS2s to make up the numbers.

god damnit i dunno what to do now, i've got a job interview on tuesday so idealy i need to prepare for the interview the day before I guess so monday is out, my parents want me to help them paint their front room on saturday and i havent booked any accomodation because im dumb i guess

also ive got no idea where my wheel is and my friend with the second ps2 is in manchester now, although i might still be able to pick it up in the morning on saturday maybe

feel free to lambast me due to any lack of foresight or planning ahead

Solutions:

1) Buy several paint bombs for the front room, moving parents may be neccesary.
2) Didn't Exelero have enough accomodation for 3 at hers? (Presumming Ashley and his other half (forgotten name, sorry...) are coming)
3) Lambasting you.

side question... can't there be a lan race with less than six drivers?
in case there's a dead car, it could always serve as target practice when one gets bored of fighting for last place... or even nudge it a bit at the exit of a curve and wait for the front runners to come by and just sit back and watch them try to sort it?

yea there can and has been a dead car at previous lans. They have been used as target practice before but usually somebody will park the said car well out of the way so not to hinder any other racing going on at the time.

This is the prefered method anyway, however you can always ask Famine to shut the network down and re assign the memory cards so that only 5 people are racing, im sure he wont mine if you ask him nicely...........*runs*

Famine, I'm making sure I remind you of what I said earlier, as we're doing Endurances races on the Sunday...

I'll be leaving at around 6pm-ish on the Sunday, so I need to take all my equipment with me (meaning one less PSTwo).

If we're in the middle of a race, I MAYBE able to convince the parents to hold back a while, but it's unlikely.
