Hoping for a miracle, but does anyone know where those roads were that was used for filming that Aston scene?
Dave ALooked like it, I've driven thoes roads and further north, some great stretches up there.
Even though this is enough evidence, I don't know why anyone brought up the series "ending for good" to begin with.

Did anyone but me pay attention & hear Jeremy say, "No more cars to test til' November" on the track" when speaking about Schumacher's "return"?
Anyways, I loved the episode. All I can really say.![]()
That's not my point....Read.He's just tryna make us assume that The Stig truly is Schuey, when obviously it really is not.
However, I did like the subtle drug-taking jokes in the adverts section![]()
Top Gear is popular for more than just sports cars. Same with GT5.I thought the ending was lame. JC had obviously run out of things to say about the Aston Martin after writing a review for his column in the Times. If sports cars really were a dying breed I hardly think Top Gear would be as popular as it is and games like GT5 would be so highly anticipated.
Yeah some great roads. I don't have proper any pics of the roads but look at what you're driving through and over.Holy....my uncle and aunt go up there for holidays and have been saying the roads are amazing. If I remember rightly they were in an Evo issue too.
The town in the last pic is Ullapool.

I bet this last Top Gear was Paulies favorite...That Holden Maloo is pretty nifty actually...

Can I show you the exit?
Simply beautiful ending. Beautiful car, beautiful countryside. No words are needed to express that.
Australia hasn't even got episode one of this season yet, but I seen the HSV section and was throughly entertained.I TOLD you all that HSVs are quick, and Utes aren't bad, now you have proof.

The sky is blue and bears go to the toilet in the woods. Stating the obvious is easy, isn't it?
Next up, bears and their toilet habits. The first point to be made is that plenty of bears (the disappearing polar sort) never defecate in woods. They don't see woods and they don't want them.
The question, however, is probably usually applied to black, brown and kodiak bears, the sort that are widespread across North America. And, yes, it's certainly true that during the summer months, these sort of bears do regularly defecate in woods. But bears hibernate. During the months of hibernation - as many as seven months, depending on local climate - bears neither defecate nor urinate. In other words, the outstanding fact about the toilet habits of American bears is not how much they s*** in woods, but how astonishingly little.
(Those seeking fixed points in a changing world might want to point out that the giant panda is a bear which does not hibernate, lives in bamboo groves, and excretes in the normal way all year round. While this is all true, it needs to be remembered that bamboo is a species of grass, not a type of tree.)
I still think many people (myself included) watch Top Gear and play GT for the sports cars.
You'd be surprised:
From here
It wouldn't surprise me if more people watch Top Gear for the entertainment value and not for any sort of car. I know a lot of people completely disinterested in cars who watch Top Gear because it's a bit of a laugh.
Top Gear is as popular as it is because it's a good entertainment show. Bears don't poo in the woods as often as you'd think, and the sky isn't really blue, our atmosphere just happens to let through light from the blue end of the spectrum most easily during the day.
Doesn't mean sports cars are what make GT & Top Gear popular which is what you're insinuating. The sky is blue and bears go to the toilet in the woods. Stating the obvious is easy, isn't it?

Sports cars only make up 95% of the Reviews & the Review segment alone only takes up 10-15 minutes on average & is usually shown early on. I highly doubt they are what everyone watches the show for, esp. when they come in as early as they do.
In fact, I'd be willing to bet the only reason people continue to watch TG are for the challenges which will usually having nothing to do sports cars themselves but traveling & races they just happen to be participating in. As Homeforsummer said perfectly, many people just seem to be watching it for the entertainment, not the cars. I myself, besides the challenges, really just like the show to see how Hammond, May, & Clarkson all interact. I've always thought the 3 make a great comedy team because there's always a gag they like to pull on each other.
