I also really enjoyed the episode the Alfa-Quad bike race and the P1 test was nicely done and the May feature on Military vehicles in Afganistan was both fascinating and well researched, the funniest part of the episode for me was when Jezza asked the American girl in the crowd why they put Strawberries on everything, the girl said 'because they taste good'...jezza 'yes, but not in a Shepards pie!'
Also, Tom Hiddleston's impression of Jezza was brilliant!
My only problem is that the Stig hasn't put a lap in yet, he didn't last week and they are waiting for the 918 test before giving the P1 to the Stig which is fine but why didn't they give him the Alfa and put a lap in there? I would've liked to have seen where it ended up on the board..
the Alfa looks to be a good road car (driving wise)as opposed to the track where it falls short.
Surely you mean the other way round..
No not at allremember seeing a review where it was outclassed by the Cayman, they even said the GT-86 was a lot more fun.
For a road car, no power steering, no storage compartment, apparently loud road noise, lack of actual comfort. Sounds more like a track car in my opinion.
Yes very good point, I meant it as a car that is fun for a road blast not to live with.
Ah well yeah in that case I partially agree yes. Still wouldn't say no to one on a track![]()
