You obviously don't read the news feed then because for the last 2 Thursdays they've managed to release the seasonal events for GT5 ! So the wheels are turning, it just seems the ECU has failed though!

Game finished at 101% last year. There are NO new seasonals, no new carrer events.. Nothing to play in GT6 for me
Even GT5 has new seasonals... So pity...
At least we could get new seasonals.. GT6 looks more abandoned now than GT5.

The delay is probably at Sony's end - there will still be a title update submission process, even though GT is bascially a first party franchise. If no-one at Sony is there to test it, it won't get released.

Regarding the Seasonal Events updates, these events are updated automatically, they set a time for them to make it's way into the game, which is why they always make it in time, even the descriptions of the events seem very simple, i don't think PD has been putting seasonal events into GT5 or GT6 manually this month.

Happens to me sometimes. Hitting the horn, braking almost to a stop or hitting a car fixes it. The only time when it hasn't worked is in the RB Jr. Event. Sounds funny, but I've lost the race because of not having sound.

It doesn't sound funny once you experience it! I haven't had it happen in the RB events, but I have had it in a couple career races. The first time really threw me because I could hear the other cars around me and thought it was mine but the revs weren't matching up. Once I realized my engine sound was going out at the start of the race I found I could get it back by completely lifting off the gas - still makes it pretty hairy going into the first turn. This has only happened a handful of times and I haven't connected it with any specific car/track/event.

LOL So it looks like the 1st was a typo for the 31st.

BUT that they said the message would be fixed before the actual release of the RB events clearly suggests that the two updates in January are still on schedule: probably (i.e. through speculation) mid-January and end-of-January.

They can only change the message for the Vettel events with an update. If they were only going to have an update at the end of the month with the actual Vettel events, why would they announce that the message will be updated before the event gets the actual RB events? Maybe there will only be a small hot patch update, but I imagine the larger updates are still in the works.

That's good, though I hope that there might be another one for the Detroit Auto Show. (C7.R hopefully) as that is starting to get hype. That and its gonna be a slow two weeks for GT6

How you guys can't have fun in the rest of the game?

I love the S Class races, they aren't proper endurance but they serve as awesome races with the tire wear and fuel usage. Using 50-100pp weaker cars in the other races serve as interesting challenges too.

The Ascari 10 lap is my favorite one.

And I still haven't golded all the stuff... well, each one know the best way to have fun in the game. I'm still loving it. Want more content and the fixed bugs but, I'm still loving it.

I don't understand, I was saying about how PD are behind their January 1st event, but it seems that event will tie in to this update 1.03 (not confirmed there even will be, just speculation) based on posts in this thread. So I think generally I am in the right thread. Well I hope I am.

People are speculating the event will be included with 1.03 because the previous ones came with 1.02. Except 1.03 doesn't have to add a whole new event group, like 1.02, it just has to unlock the last 2 events in the series.

Well after waking up and checking into this forum, it seems that PD finally sent out a message saying that it was delayed and will be available at the end of January. But they also mentioned it will be fixed in an update, so 1.03 is confirmed then with the events I'm assuming?
