Update 1.03 (Released - January 14th)

Did I all of the sudden get a little better at drifting in GT6, or were RWD cars handling improved like MR cars ? ... anyone else noticed ?

Put me on the list of people that are starting to see more freezing and/or disconnections. I've gotten knocked out of a few online practice sessions, often needing to restart the system entirely.

I think I have noticed a pattern in the online practice freezing. I have had the game hang twice in the last couple of days while in this mode and one of my friends had it happen once. This required me to quit the game and of course lost any tuning I had did while in the lobby.

I noticed that the only times this happened to us was when exiting back to the lobby from the pits. In my case both times I had went into the pits pretty fast as well. I don;t know if the speed had anything to do with it but the game acted funny as soon as I did this both time I got a pointer pop up but nothing to click on and could not do anything until I moved the pointer left and down then pressed x then in both cases when I tried to exit the game froze showing the GT ...... screen and would not go back to the lobby.

I also found that if I exit while on the track this has not happened at all, or at least not yet. It may mean nothing or it may be related to either going into the pits or going in at high speed and then exiting back to the lobby.

But the rims I have on are the same size as stock. I thought its only when you put bigger rims !?!

Any custom rims affected it, not just bigger sized ones.

Cars would get randomly deleted from the stockyard.

Yeah, I'm aware of the reports that appeared as far back as release day and I think it had something to do with the disappearing login bonus, which Famine found a resolution for.

I don't know.
The only time my cars disappeared from the stockyard was two or three days before Christmas, fortunately i keep a game save updated and didn't lost any car.

Well I started using the stockyard after Christmas and I still have all my cars in there, but then I have never had an issue with losing my login bonus randomly. But then again, 1.02 could have fixed it, it might have been after that patch that I started using the stockyard and found that no cars were disappearing.

My freaking PS3 reboots (with three beeps) everytime I press "OK" after the 1.03 update message comes up... And then it has to check and restore the PS3 system file.
Yes mine is doing that too.....it could potentially currupt everything and need a HD re-format!!! The game loads OK if I decline the update though.

GTP before update: "WE WANT UPDATE MEOW"

GTP after update: "THIS UPDATE SUCKS. ITS WORSE THAN BEFORE."

This is the case with every update.
Some people are never satisfied AND PD tends to make it so that their updates need to be fixed.

I updated through my other PSN and seems to be updating.. fingers crossed!

Wiper are now working correctly when it rain, they even "splash" water trail across the windshield! (at leat with the BMW M4 Coupé).

Anyone having issues with the update download, if you are on Wifi, try to switch to a wired connection. I remember someone yesterday saying they had the same issue, switched to wired connection, and it worked fine.

Anyone else notice drastic change in the clutch? I was doing a lap around the ring (after seasonals - which the clutch did not work...) and noticed significant changes. You no longer need to fully release the gas, and the clutch seems to react more like a real one - slips more when it is being released. No longer on or off. Or am I just going crazy?

G25 User here.

Let me know what you find...

Edited: Forgot which wheel I actually had. 💡

In other news, the FT-1 is so futuristic it doesn't even have wipers.
Or that ultrasonic sound thing that McLaren is doing right now.

After testing it out, I can now confirm that not only does adjusting the weight ballast effect the numbered stats in real time, but the same goes for the power limiter as well.
